Cornwall Pet Friendly Cottages

cornwall pet friendly cottagesCornwall is a really lovely part of the UK and remains popular with holidaymakers all year round but especially in the summer months.  The glorious beaches are the big draw here and of course you can also find stunning woodland areas, friendly locals and fantastic food.

The coastlines are quite spectacular and Cornwall is one of the few places to enjoy two coastlines, the English Channel Coast which is famed for it's coves and relaxing vibe and the Atlantic Coast which is where millions of holidaymakers flock for the golden sandy beaches and excellent surfing opportunities.

The beaches are what make Cornwall such a pet friendly holiday location.  Dogs love getting out and about running off their energy in the fresh air, on the sand,  and beaches provide a safe and spacious place to do this. Dog control bans have been imposed in some areas so it's wise to check with the local tourist board before letting your dog loose on the beach.  A walk along the coastline enjoying the views will really recharge your batteries and leave you feeling invigorated.  Perfect for you and your pet!

Cornwall is not only visited for the beaches.  Pets will be spoiled for choice for walking opportunities as there are some stunning countryside areas too including various Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty to explore.  Just some of these areas include the Camel Estury, Bodmin Moor and Lizard Peninsula.

All of our pet friendly holidays are high quality and our Cornwall breaks are no exception.  Some of our favourite cottage holidays include Brambles Cottage which is a traditional style cottage sleeping 2, ideal for romantic getaways.  The Garden Apartment is another fantastic option just half a mile from Tintagel and with amazing sea views.  If it's a coastal holiday you want then this cottage is sure to meet your needs.  If barn conversions float your boat then we recommend Poldark Cottage on the Lizard Peninsular which is an impressive granite barn conversion close to many local attractions.  Land's End and Falmouth are great for sight seeing trips.  This cottage sleeps 4 and is ideal for families.  If you like to be close to local towns then Helston is a pretty market town less than 5 miles away.
