Come and enjoy all that Woodlands has to offer, nestled on the edge of the historic township of Laugharne within a wooded valley and just off the ’Grist’, the central hub of this truly charming town. It really does offer the perfect base to explore, enjoy a morning stroll with a coffee and a good book, and take a seat on the banks of the River Taf and take in the picture postcard views with Laugharne Castle, Dylan’s Boat House and Ferryside all in view.

Laugharne was made famous by the poet Dylan Thomas, and to this day you can visit the Boat House which was once Dylan’s home, where he lived with his family, and which is now a museum, along with his writing shed, a must to visit. Within the town enjoy rambling around the Georgian townhouses and take in some of the fresh local produce and craft ales at some of fantastic eateries.

Woodlands has been lovingly restored by the current owners and they have retained all of the charm and character this property has to offer. This detached cottage has beamed ceilings and original wooden floors in the bedroom, and in the evening, enjoy cooking that special meal in the galley style kitchen which features granite work tops.
