Nelly's House, Gortahork

A beautiful, comfortable place to enjoy the glorious landscapes of Donegal from. An excellent location for our cycling and mountain adventures and a lovely experience to hear the Gaelic language spoken. i would definitely recommend Nellys House for a perfect break.

The house was lovely for a big house it was warm comfortable very clean and relaxing the only issue was the Internet couldn't use it most of the time but it didn't spoil anything just cost me roming had to use my phones Internet. If you need to just take time out from your day to day life this is the place for that

A beautiful well furnished bungalow with lovely bright spacious rooms. In a perfect location within easy reach of the garage which stocked everything you could ever need during your stay. The accommodation was immaculate with lots of homely comforts. The view from the living room gave the feeling of isolation as you are not directly facing other buildings. Lovely well maintained gardens surround the property which provides plenty of room for a couple of cars. During our stay we took the ferry across to Arranmore Island, visited Glenveagh National Park, did the guided tour of Croithli Whiskey Distillery, and visited the amazing beaches at Falcarragh and Port Arthur with our pup Blue. We also found lots of cafs en route, for lunch and coffee stops.

Hi the property was absolutely gorgeous, spacious and perfect for our big family trip. Little games room at the back for the kids to disappear to. Handy for the garage which is like a supermarket hot food etc and brilliant selection of everything. The house is perfect and would definitely use again.

Beautiful property, with extensive outdoor space! Has everthing you could need for a self catering stay.

I stayed in Nellys House last week and the cabinet in the single bedroom fell over. The glass broke. However that cabinet is unsafe and top heavy it falls over so easy. If a child had walked past in and caught it it could have been injured. I am now being charged for a unsafe piece of furniture. The cabinet wants removing. Other than that a excellent stay and a lovey place to stop

We had a great 3 nights stay at Nelly's cottage. It has an ideal location and the house itself was perfect for our family. The house was clean and had all the amenities required for our stay. We will definitely be booking again in the future.

A really nice property in a lovely village. Just a few little niggles. There was a problem with the TV unable to watch any terrestrial chanels and only Amazon Prime or Netflix available if you already process a subscription Great outside back garden but unfortunately no table or chairs to sit and enjoy only a small bench. This did not spoil our visit and we would really recommend this property.

The house was absolutely beautiful and we had a great time! The price was really good too! We will definitely be back.
