Suncroft Reviews

Suncroft is a nice house that has been hastily modernised with little attention to design. Kitchen is a good space but a dining table in the vacant space in the lounge would be an improvement. The tv in the lounge did not work nor did the heating upstairs. The owner did not respond to a voice mail asking for these things to be rectified. Attention to these annoying details would make this a pleasant place to stay.
The house has been refurbished beautifully, and a good location for Cheltenham and Cotswolds. There were just some details that let it down. We were with our elderly dad, we didnt see any warning about huge steps in the bathroom, also myself and sister, both able slipped on the tiles. We couldnt find any baking trays, no matching set of cups and nice wine glasses. These details let the property which is beautiful down. A little guide to area, places to visit would be good. We however did have a great weekend, just some tweaks and info upfront needed.

Extremely well fitted out property with modern equipment. Excellent location in quiet village but close to main road and easy access to local shopping & Cheltenham itself. Also close to a number of walking routes both low level and up onto the hills. Disappointed that there wasnt a coffee making machine and if you plan to do a lot of cooking you will need to bring equipment like scales and a good set of kitchen knives. Also worth pointing out that the only enclosed outdoor space is entirely paved and stepped so small children would need supervision. Apart from these minor points we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property and would recommend it to others.

As discussed on multiple emails now and leading onto a claim via the UK court system. We experienced a total of 6 x days disruption with the heating and no hot water, under the consumer rights act 2015 youre legally complied to offer a refund for the stay due to the interruption of the holiday. As mentioned the cleanliness of the property before we arrived was sent to yourselves along with photos of where the furnishings havent been cleaned beforehand from past guests. Alongside this you failed to acknowledge the major health and safety risk with the open pit and wires in the backyard this was an extreme hazard and considering we were at the property for a month and no contact made or communication to fix the issues without us chasing is a very very poor experienc

We had a lovely stay at Suncroft. Everything was super clean and the cottage was really well equipped. In a good location close to Cheltenham.
