23 Trafalgar Square Reviews

The property was very clean with comfy beds and good showers. We stayed as a family group of 14 over the Easter weekend and bought all the necessary ingredients to make an Easter dinner however the kitchen is quite small and very poorly equipped with only 2 small pans, a couple of frying pans 23 blunt kitchen knifes and only enough cutlery for 12 people. This property sleeps 16 so there is no way the kitchen is adequate for 16 people. The fact it has 2 ovens, a big hob and large fridge freezer is great but its impossible to cook even a simple mealbreakfast for lots of people. We were fortunate as 2 of our group were travelling the following day so they brought various pans, knives and roasting tins so we managed. The hot tub was good however there is no equipment to clean the tiled floor if water spills. In our case water did spill over the edge as though it was over filled and the floor was soaked which was difficult to deal with and very slippery. There is no cleaning equipment at all in general. The walls are very scuffed and tired looking throughout the property and the carpet grippers are exposed in places on the stairs which we stood on. Luckily there were no children in our group but this could be as hazard. Overall this property is good if you have a large group and only want it to sleep in, but it is not the best for a family gathering if you want to use the living areas. At 2000 for 3 nights the standard was disappointing in comparison to many other places we have stayed. I would not recommend it.

We as a family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had a small issue with the bath leaking from the overflow, which was rectified promptly the next morning after messaging the owner. Everyone slept really well in the comfortable beds. The hot tub was lovely with windows that could be opened for ventilation. The large table in the hot tub area was great, and we sat around every night for a family dinner. The breakfast bar was also ideal for kids to sit at in the morning. The washerdryer is also a great extra when you have kids that love the beach. My only thing I would say is that it would be great to have access to a hoover, dustpanbrush and mopbucket. We ended up buying a rubber brush to try and keep the busy lower floor level clean and tidy. If you plan to eat in whilst staying, then take a couple of oven dishes I'd taken 2 as I had made lasagne for our first night's dinner. These were handy for cooking our dinners on other nights too. I also took our slow cooker. Would definitely recommend this house for a big family get together etc.
We would stay again however, there were a few issues during our visit. The carpet grips on the stairs caused cuts to two of the childrens feet, which was concerning. There was also a leak in the roof, meaning we couldnt sit comfortably around the dining table as water was dripping onto it. When we arrived, the fire alarm was sounding, although this was resolved quickly. The kitchen could also benefit from having a few more oven dishes available. That said, the house itself was beautifully furnished and overall we enjoyed our stay.
We all really enjoyed our stay, the place was exactly as shown in the pictures so cant fault that at all, and everywhere was spotless and clean. Parking was available on the street right outside but we did only bring two cars with us. We only came across a couple of maintenance issues which was a leaking ceiling in the hot tub room but this didnt affect us too much, and the bathtub in the room leaking from the pipe. But the landlord was unaware of both of these and said it would be sorted out after our short stay.
No welcome book to tell you anything. Floor in the hot tub room very slippy. Parking isnt the best we went to ask the council for more parking permits as there was a few of us. They said the owner could buy these but we couldnt. Messaged the owner who said they couldnt get any. Was very clean

House was superb, really well setup. Only slight complaint is that we couldnt find the wifi password but that didnt stop an incredible weekend.
We booked last minute on the day we was arriving due to a previous property cancelling on us last minute. We booked knowing the hot tub wouldnt be filled due to the quickness we needed the property, when we arrived two hours later the owner had filled the hot tub and the property was beautiful, everything we could of wanted. There are 3 parking passes that come with the property allowing most of us to park right outside, if not theres a car park a walk away. The rooms are all spacious, with coffee machines and tvs in every room and the bathrooms all look very lavish. The whole property made out stay especially the secret bookcase that leads to the hot tub table area. We will absolutely be booking again.

Great for large family groups. Lovely and spacious. Im a great location with plenty of parking.
We are a family of 15, with ages ranging from 70 to 6 years. The house was perfect for us. It was very clean, the beds comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and basic essentials provided. The hot tub was well used and loved by the chikdren. We had a couple of queries but these were dealt with very quickly and efficiently. If there was anything to improve the property it would be a mirror in the first bathroom. But would definitely recommend staying here.
