4 Fishermans Wharf Reviews

Had a lovely week at 4 Fishermans Walk. Off road parking right outside. The house has everything you need for a home from home with good quality furnishings, towels, bed linen, kitchen accessories, crockery etc. Our stay was during the heatwave so the house was hot but the cool wooden floors & provided fans in each room helped. We had a small issue on arrival which the lovely owner Cas was quick to resolve. The house has a bit of a quirky layout as its on 3 floors & the shower room is on the ground floor with the main bathroom on the middle floor spa bath with shower attachment but not set up for stand up showers as no high shower head bracket or shower curtain so we had to ferry toiletries between the 2 bathrooms tip bring 2 of those you want in both bathrooms. The 2 main bedrooms are on the top floor but no bathroom on that floor so you have to go downstairs to use the bathroom during the night. Not ideal for those with mobility issues. There is a small courtyard garden at the back with table & 6 chairs no chair cushions but we brought our own cantilever parasol which provided much needed shade. The garden is quite overlooked & could do with a tidy up as the bushes were a bit overgrown & lots of weedslarge thistles but it was a nice quiet area to relax in on those days you dont want to venture very far. The harbour, beach, shops, cafes & restaurants are all within walking distance making use of the many alleyways that crisscross Whitstable we would recommend The Alleyway cafe coffee shop during the day wine bar Friday & Saturday evenings & The Old Neptune on the beach front for great seafood Theres a direct bus to Canterbury bus stop a few minutes away & access further afield can be gained by train station about 15 minutes walk. Note the house is on a residential street with traffic up & down all day & often rowdy people passing by into the early hours so bring earplugs if noise is an issue. Overall we enjoyed our week in Whitstable & would like to return in cooler weather.

It was like home from home! Lovely touches throughout the accommodation. Easy walk to the Harbour and into Whitstable very centrally situated and the parking it a great bonus. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.
Very comfortable and clean town house with good quality furnishings and crockery, etc. Conveniently situated for easy walk into town centre and seafront. Consider adding heated towel rails in both bathrooms.

This was a really well kept and lovely property, it had high quality furnishings and the owner was communicative about a regional issue they wanted to flag to us. The location was great, a few minutes walk from the sea front and town centre with off street parking. Easy travel links into Faverham or London with the train station a few minutes walk away. Consistent and easy bus travel into Canterbury that took about 1520 minutes. There are also two great zoos within a 30 minute drive.
Lovely spacious and comfortable house, closely located to the Harbour and town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely use again.
One of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in. It was stylishly decorated throughout and contained all the amenities you could wish for, including a modern heating system with Hive controls, full Sky TV package, quality kitchen appliances and dinnerware, laundry room, etc. The beach front and town centre were less than 10 minutes walk away and the route is completely flat. We had 4 devices going at once and the WiFi handled them fine. Off road parking outside the front door for 1 car was provided and another space was offered if needed. The welcome basket of cider, apple juice and coffee pods was a nice touch. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in your property.
Lovely well equipped house in a very convenient location. Comfortable beds and everything we needed there.

Beautiful property and very comfortable. Good quality furnishings and linen. The only gripe and it's only a tiny one is that the bath in the biggest bathroom isn't practical for showers as no shower screen. When the house is fully occupied and everyone needs to get ready having 2 proper showers would help. When I attempted to shower in there the bathroom was soaked. Maybe a long bath with shower screen would be more practical
This is a lovely property and well located. We enjoyed our stay and would like to return in future. The only issue was the lack of cloakroom facilities on the top floor. It was necessary to descend the stairs during the night if needing the toilet which was not ideal and caution was necessary.
Excellent house. Very high spec throughout and we thoroughly enjoyed. Whitstable sea front and high street a short easy walk away perfect.
Very enjoyable late winter break in Whitstable when the town is a lot less busy than the warmer months. The cottage has lots to like but the layout is a bit irritating, meaning you're always going up and down stairs for showers, using the loo at night, making cups of tea etc. Apart from that, far more positives than negatives!

We've stayed in the house 2 or 3 times before so clearly are happy with it. We find it comfortable either for the 2 of us as it was this last time or with other members of our family as in the past. It's convelient for the town centre and the harbourbeach areas and a real bonus for Whitstable it has it's own car parking spaces. We'll certainly go back.
Lovely house, just off the seafront, enjoyed walking through the little lanes to the sea. Very comfortable beds and towels and linen soft. Perfect for a family holiday
The property was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Finished to a high standard. Clear instructions for checking in and for all amenities. Would definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Fisherman's Wharf. The property had everything we wanted and more. The property was within a short distance of the Harbour, shops and restaurants. We will be booking the property again for next year.
Lovely house to explore Whitstable everything within walking distance. Beautifully decorated very clean and comfortable, only down side is the shower being on the ground floor and the master bedroom on 2nd floor. Lovely bathroom with Jacuzzi an alternative to a shower, very relaxing. Everything you need is in this accommodation.

A lovely house in a great location with a drive and additional courtyard parking space. Street parking outside too. Very comfortable with quality furnishings and homely touches. Small Outside courtyard at rear but with table seating six people. Very helpful owners. There were four adults and two young children in our party All the wonderful features of Whitstable pin the doorstep.
Rachael
We had a great time. Everything was made available for a comfortable stay. The property is only a short walk from town and thats a real bonus. Thank you for your hospitality, we would definitely come again.
Carole
Lovely little cottage, very homely and welcoming. Clean and very comfortable, just what we needed. Walking distance to seafront and the town. Would definitely comeback, many thanks.
We had a wonderful holiday staying at 4 Fishermans Wharf. The house was lovely, situated in a perfect location for the town centre and station. The house was very well equipped and we really appreciated the fans as it was warm during our stay. Highly recommend!

Quite a few things didnt work properly eg shower and sink plug Waste ... Quite a few things didnt work properly eg shower and sink plug Waste water very slow draining Radiator hanging off the wall by the front door
Fantastic property with all your every day needs and much more. Excellent location being only a ten minute walk to the harbour and high street which is full of lovely boutiques, coffee shops and delicious restaurants.
Claire
The house was beautifully decorated, and a lot of consideration had been given to the comfort of guests. Couldn't fault it lovely decor, lots of space and spotlessly clean. Convenient location, with a local shop and recreation ground moments away for latenight dog walks I'd recommend putting a note on your dashboard if using the carpark space for a second car, as we did have a polite query from the neighbours about parking there. Was great to have parking though!
Very happy with the accommodation and facilities a very well equipped kitchen and Whitstable a great place to stay.
Muriel
A beautiful very clean and well equipped house with lots of extras provided dishwasher tablets and even for the washing machine which we didnt use. Toilet Rolls even ice in the freezer much appreciated. Nespresso machine and pods with the coop round the corner. Was a walk into Whitstable but 8 mins not bad and we knew this. The stairs and bedroom on the 3rd floor I hadnt realised and the lounge on the second floor werent ideal for us but if you have good knees I would recommend this house to anyone. A lovely house and little courtyard and the hosts have got it right. I just love Whitstable.
Stuart
We have had the most amazing time at 4 Fishermans Wharf! The house is beautiful and super clean and we had a lovely welcome when we arrived with a little basket of goodies. The house was comfortable and we all slept well. It is perfectly positioned as only a short walk to the harbour and high street. It really was one of the best places we've stayed!
A lovely property well equipped and very comfortable. Only 10 minute walk to the harbour or the town centre, but on a quiet street not far from the station.
Hilary
We had a lovely weeks stay in this spacious and light house. First class housekeeping very clean with quality beds, linen and towels. The kitchen and utility have ample equipment and the upstairs sitting room is comfortable and welcoming. Great to have two bathrooms! With on site parking the location is good being slightly out of town but a straightforward ten minute walk to the harbour and shops. Many great eateries to sample we recommend Birdies bistro and the Lazy Lobster! Suggestion the hallway is very large so a shoeboot rack would be a practical addition?.
This property was well equipped with plenty of space for our group of five adults. There was nothing we could fault. We loved the beds, blankets and throws, the decor and the towels were luxurious. We enjoyed a cooked breakfast in the well equipped kitchen and the utility room came in handy too. We would definitely stay again as it was only a short walk into town and bus stops. What a little gem we have found
Excellent property. Very well appointed with quality fittings. House was spotless and with temperatures plummeting in Nov it was very warm and cosy. Beds comfortable. Excellent location in Whitstable 10 minutes walk if that to the high street and 5 minute walk to the harbour. Would highly recommend and would use again if holidaying in this area.
An excellent property, well appointed, spotlessly clean, first class linen and comfortable bedding. Felt like home from home with fixtures, fittings and artwork to our taste. Excellent location within walking distance from harbour, high street and restaurants. Parking on site, and recreation area for dogs and children 200 yards away. Good local well stocked Coop corner shop.
Robert
Excellent place to stay, well located & spotlessly clean
Off street parking always a bonus. The house had plenty of room, very comfortable and well equipped. Close enough to beach and town centre, both within a 10 minute walk and benefiting from being in a slightly quieter and less busy area. Train station close by too for day trips to Margate etc. The property owner was friendly and very proactive ahead of our stay to make sure we had everything we needed.
Kathleen
The property was perfect it was a shame there were no BBQ equipment. Beds were very comfy. The kitchen had everything you needed. The property wasnt too far from the centre of town. The property was perfect.
Great location and lovely house. Very clean, fresh and well supplied. Easy walk into the town which is a lovely interesting place for a short break. Dog loved it too!
Rachel
Stunning property, spotless when we arrived well equipped and in a great location close to the town and beach. Would recommend and hopefully return soon
Pamela
We felt that there werent enough small bins in lounge and bedrooms
Philip
The property address is for Diamond Road. The property is actually situated round the corner in Westmeads Road.
Couldnt fault anything about the house. Probably the most well equipped property I have stayed in.
Stuart
Beautiful and well presented house. Lovely jacuzzi bath. Beds very comfy. Definitely will be back. Only about 5 mins walk to the beach which our daft airedale dog appreciated.
