9 Beckett Close, Colwyn Bay

Lovely position very close to the beach and resorts. Easy to get to other places on the coast such as Llandudno and Conway. The beds were very comfortable. The children loved the games room. Plenty of space for a big group. We did have a problem with the dishwasher however the owners sent maintenance men to try to fix it on the same day and was very responsive to texts. We had to buy oven gloves and tea towels. We think that the information booklet needed more instructions, for example regarding the central heating and the induction hob. The decoration of the walls at the top of the landing had not been finished. And one bedroom didn't have a lightshade. The door in the family bathroom needs repainting. We were disappointed that having spent so much on the property, there was no welcome pack. This is the only property we have hired from Sykes that did not give us even a packet of biscuits. With a few tweaks this house would have got a 5.

We have just spent 3 nights at this property and what a lovely house it is well equipped with everything you need the was a few maintenance issues that happen over time certain entertainment items not working or things missing but that will happen as there for the kids down stairs toilet seemed blocked and first floor bedroom tv plug broke but other than that we loved it and would go back great location 35 minutes walk and your on the beach front supermarkets within walking distance would recommend this property for any group to stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Close to the beach and all amenities. The hot tub went fown well. Was just what we needed. Only thing lacking was a brush

Our family group had a lovely week here. The location is great for easy reach of the promenade and beach. The hot tub, games room and pop up TVs were all a huge success. The house was clean, warm and had very comfy beds. However, there were a few things that stopped me awarding the top score. In general, a bit of TLC is needed regarding additional furnishings and things checked to make sure they are working properly such as spotlights and lamps. It would also be helpful to have more content in the welcome folder such as instructions for the central heating and hob having said that our queries were answered efficiently and promptly and we would be happy to return.

Lovely place to stay, great facilities and great location!

Would definitely recommend this property for family get awaysmeeting friends. Exactly as described on the listing. Very clean and modern with ample space and facilities for the 10 of us who were staying. The kids loved the hot tub, garden and games room. Small mix up with check in times but our host was very quick to resolve this and easy to reach on the number provided. All in all great communication and hope to be back soon.

We have previously been away to a property as my dad had been given a long service reward from work and it was beautiful. Given this we decided that with another of these rewards we would book another holiday home but somewhere different. We were all very excited as this is something we love doing together as a family, however on arrival to the property at around 15.50 there was a van parked on the drive and 2 men sat in it, we asked if we were able to go in and they just said yes, you can all go in. These turned out to be 2 maintenance men which were still there nearly an hour after we were able to check in. When we went into the property we found there was no welcome book, nothing to say anything as there has been in other holiday homes. We opened the hot tub to find it with a tiny bit of water in the bottom, not filled and no treatment in it, I called the number given to us and he did come and put us some treatment in the water, however this meant that when we wanted to get in later that night around 10pm we were still unable to get in as it was still not warm enough which was very disappointing. Additional to this we found false nails in the corners of bathrooms and one in the main bedroom, there was false eyelashes stuck in the blanket in the living room, there was stains on the carpets and pillows. We turned the lights on in the living room and the lights were flickering so much we had to turn them off which looked like it had been noticed as there was a bedroom lamp left in there to use. We did let them know and this was fixed the day after but it was just all little bits that felt really disappointing when it was a celebration for my dad.
