Bears Court Barn 4, Little Rissington

Lovely accommodation. Great location. Cant wait to return. Would be good to have hot tub & bifold doors instructions.

We booked no 4 and were placed in no 1 on the day. The house was not clean and bedding looked slept in. The floors were filthy and there was used and dirty crockery packed away in the cupboards. It was clear they had a plumber working in one of the bathrooms and they had not cleared up once they had finished. The hot tub was dirty and the description of the property inaccurate. We are still waiting for someone to call us back when we called about 3 times upon moving in. Total silence which is such a pity as it could have been amazing.

We have never arrived at a property which was not cleaned, but this property had mouldy pots in the dishwasher, no hand towels and smelt fusty, so hadnt been prepared properly. We have complained to both Sykes and the owner whilst there. Some things were resolved but slowly. Not good enough when youre only away for a weekend. The description was inaccurate you cant have all doubles and the electric car charging is not at this property and chargeable. Youd be better charging elsewhere! Could have been lovely and I didnt want to leave a bad review, but theres no choice when you ignore our complaint for 2 weeks!

The hot tub had a chunk of glass in it and was set at 42 . It had a residue in it that felt as though it had not been cleaned. We had to wash out all of the mugs before using them. Cobwebs by the clock that did not work. One morning there was no water. However, we found the place comfortable, it was in a great location for touring the Cotswolds, and it had a great view. It would have been nice to have had a chair in the bedrooms and more spacious drawers for our clothes.
