Bluebell cottage is beautiful,lots of care & attention to detail is apparent. Its setting in surrounding countryside is perfect for getting away from it all. Good directions & comunication from the owners. The cottage was well equipped with everything needed. The hot tub was wonderful & well used. It was a pleasure to stay at Bluebell cottage,their visitors books attests to how many guests would like to visit again & some have even booked for a fourth visit! Wed include ourselves as potential returners as wed like to explore this lovley area in springsummertime.

Beautiful cottage, comfortable bed . Issues with heating and hot tub on arrival. However host did her best to rectify this as quickly possible. The hot tub was a great size but had granule like bits on the seats. Lovely, relaxing location on a well maintained farm. Matlock, Bakewell and surrounding walks all within 2040 minutes by car. Enjoyed our break and would recommend staying there.

The cottage was amazing clean warm friendly welcome from the lovely owners of the property. Everything we could possibly hope for even informed us of the best place to eat etc. We didnt do much other than chill and relax and unwind. Its location is ideal for that and with walks within and around its ideal. A nice walk to the local village or pub is ideal. Everything you could wish for in a lovely environment.
The location & privacy of the holliday cottages is excellent. The grounds & surrounding areas are well maintained & safe for dogs, & we had a lovely stay. there. The cottage is small but nicely presented, unfortunately as the kitchen is small there is no freezer in the kitchen & obviously we wasnt able to make ice cubes ,& as we had brought frozen barbecue food we had to use it after a couple of days as it had thawed out. It lacks hooks & shelves in the property to hang towels etc.
We had a lovely relaxing stay at Bluebell cottage. We enjoyed the nearby walks and the fabulous hot tub in the evening's. We loved the location, it was so peaceful. The cottage had everything you could possibly need. We would definitely recommend this place if you want that perfect relaxing break.
Lovely character property. Additional freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer in the shared utility room was a bonus. Hot tub was great after a day of exploring Derbyshire.

We had an amazing stay and Jo went to great lengths to get us a travel cot for our 5 month old, which we really appreciate. Everything was as described and beautifully decorated. Only downside was the bed was very soft and well used and the bathroom floor could have done with a sweep, as well as the shower door was broken. Otherwise amazing stay and we will come again!

We had a really lovely stay at Bluebell Cottage. Jo stopped by often to check on the hot tub and made sure everything was okay for us. Theres loads of really lovely walks in the area and Matlock is beautiful place to visit, just a 15 min drive away from the farm.
Superb stat to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. Jo was very welcoming, gave us all the info we needed and just let us relax & enjoy our stay. The views, the sunrises, the sunsets and the peacefulness were just what we needed. The hot tub was a huge added bonus. We had some lovely strolls & an exceptional lunch at The Dog Pentrich. We had an excellent stay and would totally recommend Bluebell Cottage. Thank you Jo & Ian.
Lovely property in great surrounding's
Bluebell Cottage is a lovely little cottage fitted with everything you need for a week away. It was clean and well thought out. I couldn't fault a single thing. The hot tub was especially nice in the cold weather. I would recommend Bluebell Cottage to anyone wanting a wonderful place to stay in a lovely area.

Ian was a great host. The location was perfect. However, a couple of recommendations Mattress too soft needs replacing. Lack of cupboard space for food in kitchen Could do with additional plates and cutlery. Shower needs some attention Mold on shower tray Shower door kept coming off rail at bottom. Apart from that we had a a great stay friendly people on site.
Probably could do with a new mattress but been twice & certainly would book again

Had a lovely stay for the 2nd time round! Beautiful views, Great location, Amazing hot tub and owners were very friendly and welcoming. Only negative is the mattress wasn't comfortable. The owners supplied us with a mattress topper to take the edge off which was very kind of them!
Had a really relaxing break, despite the weather. The covered hot tub was a blessing and was used a LOT!!! Well proportioned, clean and well provisioned accommodation in lovely surroundings. Would certainly recommend and would come back again.

Had such a lovely relaxing stay. Made our anniversary special. The cottage itself is beautiful and love how you've kept certain things to show the age of the place. It was so cosy and comfortable and the hot tub was a nice little extra feature to help you relax. I have always been scared of sheep but staying here also helped me overcome my fear. Even had a little visit from the owners dog and all I can say is what a handsome boy. The only thing I would say needs to have a slight change is the steps to the hot tub. I would suggest a slip mat on them as the steps become quiet slippy as you get out of the hot tub.

This was our first time at Bluebell cottage It was clean and very cosy. Lovely for a little romantic and relaxing getaway. The hot tub was the main reason we booked this cottage and we absolutely loved it. 1010 all round!

The cottage was everything we were hoping for. It was clean, equipped, cozy and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Great for a little romantic and relaxing getaway. One tiny bit of criticism is, there was no cheese grater, which made a funny task of trying to finely dice cheese. Overall, I would give Bluebell Cottage a 1010 and would highly recommend it to anyone.
An amazing stay! ! Beautiful cottage with all the facilities we needed to enjoy homemade dinners after soaking in the hot tub posthikes. Owners were very responsive and helpful. Very good location for seeing the Peak District.

We had another wonderful stay this time in Bluebell Cottage Last time in Woodland Lodge only upgrade it could do with is a better mattress and New longer sofa but all these upgrades take time when you have 3 properties to maintain Joanne & Ian looked after us very well it was a pleasure to be there nothing was too much trouble looking forward to our next stay Thankyou xx
