We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brook Lodge. We couldn't make enough use of the garden due to the temperature! But everything was wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. We were happy to have the extra office room to use for work. The local walks were great. Only the TV was a bit confusing and explanations would have been helpful.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay would definitely recommend, 5 Stars.

Had a lovely weekend break with the family in this lovely big home. Four good size bedrooms and plenty of hanging space if needed. Plenty of room in the kitchen to cook a roast dinner. Unfortunately we didnt get to enjoy the garden as it was winter but imagine in the summer its ideal. Plenty of areas to sit and relax.

The photos of the house reflect the current situation, very tidy and clean house, the kitchen is fully equipped! Enjoy ample parking. There is a park nearby, suitable for morning runs, the surrounding residents are quiet and friendly, and it is very quiet at night. The house is also very independent. Perfect for a family trip, or a small gathering of three or five friends. The water pressure is high enough, the heating is sufficient, and the outdoor courtyard is also very charming. An unforgettable living experience! Couldn't recommend it more!

The large house and secluded garden were hugely impressive exactly as described! There were some minor niggles Some of the mattresses were soft and sagged in the middle. Some of the duvets were too heavy for the summer season There was no teapot. Overall, however, the house and garden provided excellent accommodation.

We just got back from a two night stay with a group of friends to celebrate our 50th birthdays and spend quality time together. Brook lodge was the perfect place for us to do it! It was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfy so we slept well. The garden and surroundings made it for us as we wanted somewhere quite private where we wouldnt disturb. We spent most of our time out there where we ate, drank and chatted till the early hours making use of the fire pit both nights. We all absolutely loved it and wouldnt hesitate to come back! One other thing, the shower in the en suite wasnt draining quite properly so the tray was filling quickly and had to be turned off while showering. Other than that found everything else to be just fab!

The property had great outdoor space, the kitchen was well stocked, and the rooms very spacious. I am used to a private host and it is usually easy to get hold of them for any questions. This property is through an agent that keeps business hours. It took 2 days to get a reply to my query because it was a weekend and we were only staying for 4 days. We enjoyed our stay here and if someone is looking for a quiet retreat, we would recommend the property.

Magnificent property. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. One small thing, the decking around the pond is starting to rot in places House is stunning and has absolutely everything you need. Absolutely beautiful and thoughly enjoyed our stay here.

Loved the place. We were 6 friends getting together for a couple of nights. We were all very comfortable and loved relaxing both inside by the extraordinarily dramatic fireplace ! and outside by the beautiful pond. We were all very impressed and would definitely stay again.

Lovely place, good amount of room

This is the most amazing house. It is homely, warm, comfortable and the perfect venue for hosting family and friends. It is in a wonderfully private location but handy for lovely walks and a wee park. The garden is stunning and was the most wonderful spot to relax in by the pond, eat out or play with the grandchildren. We would love to spend more time at Brook Lodge!

We're lodging here whilst working in Ipswich for the week. It's the nicest place we've ever stayed in! There's loads of room and parking for the 5 of us and a hotel and pub within very short walking distance for evening food. Very quiet and we're all having a great sleep. Would definitely stay here again. 1010

We loved the space of the house. It does feel like someone has moved out and left some belongings behind. A welcome book would be helpful giving basic instructions on how things work, where to find the wifi password, and specific instructions around bins, stripping beds etc. There was not enough cutlery for the number of guests 7 forks for 8 people. There was 8 knives and spoons but you would expect at least double for the number of guests. The bedding and towels did also not fit with the rating of a 5 star property. It again felt like a mish mash of bedding and towels that had been left behind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, but we have our own holiday home and always appreciate honest feedback.

We had the loveliest time celebrating Christmas here. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
