Lovely, warm comfortable cottage for a very cold week in January.

This was our second visit to Bryndan, and it certainly wont be our last. I actually forgot how lovely it is the pics dont do it justice. We were very grateful that we could be accommodated lastminute we booked in the morning and checked in the same day. The property is spacious, clean, and wellequipped. In the lounge, the smart TV is excellent, the fireplace lovely and warm, and the sofas very comfy. The kitchen has everything you need, and the appliances are highquality. The bedrooms are particularly welcoming and spacious with comfy beds. Bryndan is isolated but not too far from civilisation if you need anything. We were able to get an Asda home delivery without any issues. The owner communication is excellent and friendly, and they didnt disturb us at all during our stay. Theres plenty of wildlife in the area particularly red kites, and the dark sky at night is a treat for stargazers. Theres lots of space for dogs to explore in the garden on a long lead there are sheep in the adjacent field. Overall, Bryndan is the perfect getaway, and we would recommend it without hesitation.

Absolutely stunning cottage, not much the owner could do about the weather but sitting in the cosy living room with the fire roaring and a glass of wine whilst watching the storm outside was magical.
I thoroughly enjoyed my week long stay at Bryndan. Beautiful cottage set in stunning surroundings. A renovated cottage thats kept its character. I would definitely recommend this property as a place to stay

A very relaxing minibreak Set in a tranquil, remote location amongst lots of nature, the property is spacious and has everything youd need for a relaxing holiday. I loved reading about its history and development. We saw red kites, starlings, an owl, plenty of sheep and cattle around the property. The beds are comfortable and cosy. We explored lots of Mid and West Wales. Particular highlights were New Quay to see the dolphins Id recommend the fascinating trip and Aberystwyth. Thanks for an amazing stay. Wed thoroughly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bryndan. The amenities and everything provided was to a high standard with the setting amongst the hills providing a beautiful, tranquil scenery.

Beautiful remote cottage with all the amenities we required. My only concern was the shower. It was extremely difficult to regulate the temperature and we had to resort to baths for the rest of the week this wasnt a problem btw but other holiday makers might have differing views. Overall we would be keen to return!
Bryndan has been lovingly renovated to a high standard and is set amongst really spectacular scenery, its a proper home from home in a rural setting and a very good base as theres plenty to do in the area. We liked it that much that we do hope to stay there again next year. Thank you to the owners for letting us share this lovely cottage
Thank you for sharing your beautiful project Bethan. It was everything we needed it to be. Super peaceful, relaxing and natural, but close enough to town for amenities. It was lovely to see the progress of the build too. We absolutely loved it, you should be so proud!
The property was well maintained and host was extremely helpful and friendly. The photos do not do the view justice, it is in a truly incredible location. The cottage is comfortable and clean and exactly what you need when coming home from a busy day out. The location is just outside of the action which means you have the benefit of being able to get to cheap and exciting activities quickly. However if you wanted to visit for a moment of peace and tranquility or a walking holiday there are so many wonderful places to explore.

Jones filter coffee pack and bottle of wine wonderful welcome. Rooms very spacious, certainly for two. Property listing could helpfully mention existence of stair gate to keep pets downstairs and that cottage is right by the road which was quiet during our stay. I'd say garden is informal rather than landscaped. Good access to several nature reserves for days out. Bathroom floor needs some attentiongrouting in parts was loose .
Advertised as dog friendly but upon arrival note on a safety gate at foot of stairs states dog not allowed upstairs and in welcome pack states a 50 clean up fee will be charged if any hair found which should be notified before booking. That said great location as a base to explore North Wales. Welcome bottle of Prosecco and filter coffee was a lovely gesture, shame we didn't meet the hosts. No mobile signal up here, free Wifi was welcome. Bed and pillows lush as was the hot tub. Cottage has been beautifully restored and has everything you need for your stay.

Nestled away in the Cambrian mountains you really are at one with nature with no one near to bother you, we saw lots of red kite and had daily visits from Woodpeckers and Squirrels at the bird table. Bethan is a fantastic host, we didnt see her the first time we stayed and when we did need her for something minor this time she was straight over to help and very warm and knowledgeable on the area without being at all intrusive. Thoroughly recommend this little piece of heaven and we will definitely be returning asap! Andy and Rachael

Perfect get away lovely relaxing and peaceful location. Spotlessly clean.log burner made it lovey and cosy on an evening. Hot tub was great to chill in after long days out visiting local and surrounding areas. Would love to return one day

Beautiful cottage with stunning views in a great location. Easy and short journey times to several beaches and other stunning locations. Owners are responsive if needed and accommodating to our late arrival time. Hot Tub was perfectly placed to enjoy the views in complete privacy with the cottage having all the required facilities and beautifully clean. Cant recommend highly enough.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Bryndan. The cottage is very clean and well appointed. Everything needed for a weeks holiday is provided. The hot tub was also very clean. There are lots of good walks nearby over the hills or through woodland and a supermarket 4 miles away in Machynlleth. There is an electric car charger 18 miles away in Aberystwyth.

Hello, we had a really nice time at the cottage and found it very homely and relaxing.
A really lovely house in the mountains we lost the WiFi half way through the week but managed without it. Bring bird seed as sitting in the hot tub watching the feeders was awesome. Close enough to the shops and really good location for visiting the surrounding locations. A gem.

Really enjoyed our stay, lovely cottage, fantastic views.
I sent my parents on holiday for their anniversary and they loved going back. Bryndan is in a very quiet, peaceful area. There are plenty of walks around as long as you take a map, and they loved being able to use the garden and hot tub too.

We had a wonderful week. The absolute bonus was the bird life in the garden and the view. The hot tub within those surroundings was fantastic we didnt need any more especially with the lovely weather. Just one suggestion my husband would have appreciated a sun umbrella as he prefers shade.
Bryndan is a dream cottage, renovated to a high quality but still has that homely feel. Set in a stunning location. We had a lovely week, even the weather was nice for our sightseeing days out.

Had an absolutely amazing week here in October. The house is beautiful, and the story of the renovation of the house is fabulous. Everything has been done to such a high standard. Theres zero phone signal anywhere in or near the house if youre with EE, but the WiFi is ok so dont have to be completely cut off unless you want to be. The rooms are gorgeous and the beds are so comfy. The setting is absolutely idyllic. Ive recommended this home to all of my friends and will definitely be back! There was a lovely touch of a bottle of bubbly waiting for us when we arrived and sitting in the hot tub while the sun rises with only sheep for company is the best way to start the day.

We stayed here for a week in August and had an absolutely wonderful stay. The cottage was beautiful, clean and well equipped. The views were stunning. Beth was a wonderful host extremely helpful with anything we asked. Would highly recommend Bryndan for a quiet, peaceful and relaxed getaway.
We found the cottage exactly as photos very clean and comfortable . A credit to Bethan and family . Bethan was very helpful and friendly went out of her way to find two extra outdoor chairs for us . When the Wi Fi went of they came immediately to fix it . We would recommend the cottage to anyone definite 5 star . Unfortunately not somewhere we will return as suffering Arthritis and being 83 the surrounding area though beautiful the terrain just to difficult for me personally. A gem in Sykes .

Excellent cottage, superb location. Very helpful owner. Very clean and wellequipped, although could have been better organised as far as the supply and storage of essential items was concerned. This is an old miner's cottage, superbly located and sympathetically converted. However not ideal for people of limited mobility, due to steep indoor staircase and difficulty manoeuvring baggage and other items indoors and between car and cottage. During our stay, we learned that the owners also had alternative nearby properties, all on one level, which would have been more suitable for us.
