Me and my family spent christmas 2025 here and it was perfect. A true home from home. Already booked for aug 2026!

A beautiful house in a beautiful location would highly recommend to anyone who wants a comfortable, secluded and relaxing stay in a well appointed country cottage, we will definitely be returning!

We booked the cottage for my sons 21st and my daughters 18th birthdays it was absolutely perfect. The location was stunning and property was beautiful. We will definitely go back.

We had a lovely week stay in June 2025. Good location to visit South Snowdonia Eryri, we enjoyed nearby walks. Beautiful views from property. We loved the outside garden pod in all weathers. We made the most of the outside features daily. Thank you for the generous gift basket which contained a large selection of goodies that we could choose from. If we wanted to stay in this area again we would return.

We stayed at the cottage wc 14. 04 and it was fabulous. The cottage itself is very clean and nicely renovated has everything you need for your stay. Lovely touch of welcome box which was a lovely surprise. The outdoor area is well maintained and clean. Although the weather wasnt great during our stay we still enjoyed the hot tub. All the linen was provided including towels for the hot tub and even lovely little toiletries bags in each bathroom. The location was perfect for us to unwind and relax. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Honestly the best place Ive ever stayed! Was so magical and so beautiful! What a cottage to stay we struggled to find it as it was dark but was worth it when we woke up in the morning honestly amazing stay we really enjoyed ourselves! Was my birthday so honestly the best place to spend my birthday! Will defiantly be coming again!

The location is fantastic, for quiet and privacy. The cottage layout good. The kitchen extremely well equipped. The welcome pack very generous and very much appreciated, as was the milk and butter. The chocolates on the pillow did attract mice one day which I wasn't happy about but understand given the location. I would certainly cease this practice if the cottage is to be empty for a period. The power was off completely for about 10 hours. This wasn't great but not the owners fault. Roy answered his phone first time and gave us his approximate arrival time, which he honoured. However, had this happened once dark, there were no emergency provisions like torches or candles. Also, we couldn't drink the tap water as it was filtered electrically so bottles of water would have been good, just in case. I would definitely return to the cottage as we went there following the death of my Husbands Mother and the location and cottage afforded us everything we needed. this time. X

We have been visiting Cae Lecci for years. ....even before it was revamped. The location is fabulous with the stream and the mountain views, yet only a 15 minute drive from Dolgellau....the four gates to open and shut notwithstanding. We loved the upgrades. My partner proposed to me whilst we were watching the sunset from the hot tub. I accepted, of course! But after our visit in October, may we suggest no more additions to the cottage now please. The pods are a bridge too far and interfere with natural ambience and views from the hot tub of the cottage. It's enough now. Most visitors now have everything they need!!!! Must give a shout out to the excellent cleaners and Roy, the property manager, who is responsive and helpful always.

The property was really well equiped and we felt at home straight away. The location is fantastic and a great get away from our normally busy lives. It is in no way a criticism but we thought the pod was unnecessary and not in keeping with the surroundings. We would love to go back.

What an amazing place, were already looking to rebook for next year ! The house is immaculate and couldnt have asked for a more cosy and spacious place to base ourselves for the week. Idyllic!

Beautiful location. Excellent outside space and stunning countryside for walks nearby. We loved the hot tub. The welcome box of provisions was very generous, and kitchen well equipped. Great property for a peaceful countryside break.

This cottage was perfect for 7 adults. There was plenty of room for everyone. The views were amazing a really peaceful retreat.

This is a fantastic property. Very well equipped and most of all its in the most stunning location. The river running past and the sheep all around are beautiful.

Lovely property. The outside area was beautiful. We had to give the hot tub a clean as when the jets had been on for a few mins the first time there was a good amount of scum possibly it hadnt been used for a while. Its states the property is pet friendly however in the written rules pets are only allowed in the kitchen and a hefty fine would be issued if any trace was left anywhere else in the house. All in all we had a lovely stay taking advantage of the family games available.

We did find a couple of dead rats outside during our stay which we disposed of. Absolutely lovely cottage with fantastic facilities, would really benefit from some sheltered outdoor seating for the winter months as its lovely outside in all weathers! Slightly disappointed to find out after booking that dogs must remain in the kitchen as I know mine would have loved to enjoy the fire of an evening! Completely understand but I think should be pointed out in the listing, there isnt much space in the kitchen for dogs beds as well as boots etc.

Our second visit this year and it was lovely, even though it was wet all week very different to our sunny week in June. The creek was spectacular as the water rose, thundering past, and the views just as stunning. The garden and terraces are so well maintained, adding to the beautiful surroundings. Looking forward to staying again next year.

We have been using Sykes for a number of years and have always found the properties very good. Cae Lleci is a lovely property set in a beautiful area of Wales. The garden with river running through was lovely as were the walks surrounding it. The house was very clean and comfortable The table football was a bonus with the three boys. Maybe a few more table games would be good. An excellent property. Neil.

We all had a brilliant holiday with good weather, the house was so secluded & peacefull with the patio by the stream allowing us to have meals outside using the pizza oven. The cottage was comfortable & well equipped with lovely views towards cader idris & the surrounding countryside with the pretty stream running through next to the house. We only had one problem when whoever cut the grass allowed their dog to upend the bins & spread the waste everywhere & throw an empty drinks can down by the gate, no idea where the chicken carcass went!

It was very clean and well presented warm comfortable house. Beautiful location and stunning scenery. Gardens are lovely with stream running by. Would definitely go back. Lots to do in north wales too. Walks from the door

Wonderful property in a beautiful position. This has been the ninth time that we have stayed at Cae Lleci and we have enjoyed every one. The improvements made have been worthwhile though we would have still holidayed there had it been as it formerly was. I would suggest that a possible addition to the kitchen equipment would be a steamer.

What a superb place. Everything you could wish for was provided, to the smallest details. The owners had gone above and beyond to provide just that little extra to make a memorable stay. Of course the location alone was what made it, just breathtaking and away from all the stresses of life. A wonderful stay and we'll be back.

Loved the location. The property was well equipped with most things you could possibly need. The only thing missing was a lobby area for hanging wet coats and boots shoes etc. However. I would definitely visit Cae Leici again.

So peaceful ,lovely surroundings and listening to the stream , if you want a chill out holiday highly recommended.

Absolutely stunning, perfect for all families. This house is set into some beautiful scenery and countryside, the house is perfect everything you need. The river in the garden is a massive bonus. The owner contacted us ahead of our visit, to explain the house had been renovated, it was absolutely faultless. We loved every minute and will be returning. Easy access to nearby paces to explore, Snowdon Summit, Portmeirion, Bala, Barmouth, Harlech and Zip world were a few of the places we visited.
