Quaint spacious cottage with everything you need and more. It is like home from home. The host Fiona could not have been more helpful. Fantastic lawned area for our pooch to exercise. Great location for exploring. Dont hesitate, book it.

Owners extremely helpful with any information we needed I would only mention if you are a shower person like us and we are elderly the bath to stand in was slippery without or with mat and the attachment was not very accurate for staying hot this was very disappointing and stairs are steep they are no problem for able people despite this the gardens and area are beautiful for a relaxing holiday Thankyou to owners for giving good advise
Perfect cottage and grounds. Everything we could possibly wished for was accommodated by the wonderful hosts. We will definitely be back.
I prefer not to leave any comments on my recent stay,only to say that the amount of dog faeces within the car parking area was ridiculous to say the least if you must allow your dogs to toilet in that area,at least make the effort to keep it clean.
Carreg Rhys is perfect. We return year after year as it is very comfortable, has everything we need and is in the centre of the island to explore. Nearby is Newborough Forest, the fantastic beach and the stunning Llandwynd headland a place we got engaged a few years ago. And then back to the wonderful hot tub!
Loved this cottage Enjoyed such a restorative few days. The setting, views, peaceful surroundings, nature and fab hot tub all made for a truly relaxing and recharging holiday. Extra thoughtful touches from the owner were very appreciated. And very hospitable to share their beautiful gardens to stroll around and to see my 1st red squirrel!

A gem of a cottage in beautiful quiet surroundings, where nature is in abundance, along with easy access to several Bird Reserves. Wonderful views from the garden, with helpful advice from onhand owners made for a super relaxing holiday. Sharon and Steve
We had a lovely time at Carreg Rhys, the property and its surroundings were so peaceful and relaxing. We found a lovely gem of a beach at Aberffraw which is only about 10 minutes away that was suggested to us by Fiona, they were wonderful hosts, if there was anything we needed then they dealt with it with such efficiency and warmth it was wonderful see. A real home from home gem a quiet rural location with parking, comfy bed, lovely sitting room with views over the gardens and fields, great kitchen with every kitchen implement you could need provided, nice size bathroom with free standing bath and the icing on the cake was the hot tub which we took a dip in every day. Only thing for us was no shower curtain around the bath. We didnt get to meet Fiona & Peter in person but they kept in touch throughout the week. We had a really relaxing week in the cottage and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place away from a busy life. Anglesey is a beautiful place to visit.

The cottage was comfortable, cosy and so peaceful. We cooked most days, there were plenty of pots, pans and dishes to meet our needs. The hot tub was amazing, so relaxing after a busy day. Our dog loved chasing her ball in the big garden and on the lovely beaches that we visited. A great week.

We had a very happy, tranquil and relaxed week at Carreg Rhys. It's location is great for exploring the island in all directions! Fiona and Peter are very warm and welcoming hosts and we were encouraged to make use of the various outside areas beyond the cottage's little courtyard garden. We would heartily recommend a holiday here!
Well equipped and nicely furnished place to stay in a lovely tranquil setting. We particularly enjoyed there being a bath something that is becoming increasingly rare in smaller holiday lets.

The cottage was furnished to a very high level and full of welcoming touches, such as fresh flowers, wine, biscuits and a table beautifully laid for dinner. It was also lovely to see such optimism from Fiona about her visitors' care of her home and contents no missing ornaments finding new homes! Definitely a little gem to be remembered. Judging from the comments in thank you cards for Fiona previous guests have experienced her kindness, far beyond the norm, which speaks volumes.

A little hidden gem. Everything we needed for a quiet and comfortable stay. Owners were great and although the property is adjacent to their home, they were no way intrusive at all so we still felt we had our privacy. Lovely grounds and great to see red squirrels in the garden.

Lovely placed property. Very comfortable. Loved hot tub. Missed shower as I do struggle with baths. Hosts were brilliant. Property well placed for exploring just have to beware of speeding tractors along the narrow lanes.
Fabulous stay once again, the owners Fiona and Peter are so helpful, they left a lovely bottle of fizz and some cookie along with rose petals scattered for us as this was our honeymoon. Just absolutely amazing would 1000 recommend this property to anyone looking to relax but also be in a great location to explore the whole of Anglesey and the beauty it has to offer

Such a beautiful cottage, very well equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. I felt so at home here, and Fiona was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The grounds are stunning, its such a peaceful place to absorb nature and get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Perfect base to explore the south of the island. We had a lovely stay and cannot wait to come back.

This was our second visit to this cottage we love it here. The owners are so kind and nothing is too much trouble,It's just so peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the log burner and the hot tub after i cooked a lovely meal in the well equipped kitchen. the nearby shops have everything you need lots of places to visit, our favourites are Beaumaris, Rhosneigr, plas newydd house. we brought our dog so many places to walk we all had a great week. Next time we will come in the summer and see what Anglesey looks like then.

The property was amazing, clean and tidy. Had everything you needed, just had to take own towels and obviously own food. Fridge freezer was available in property. Great place, to have a get away from it all holiday, lovely and quiet, beautiful area. Fiona the host, was lovely, friendly and more than happy to help with anything. Would definitely recommend for a break.

This is a lovely cottage in a beautiful and tranquil location. It is ideally situated for the cycle routes to Newborough beach and forest and to Cefni Reservoir. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
Absolutely lovely cottage with everything you could possibly need to ensure you have a relaxing , away from normal life holiday. The owners were amazing and have thought of everything, friendly, willingly to help and interested in ensuring your stay was comfortable. Extremely dog friendly allowing use of the garden for exercise. The peace, quiet tranquil of the surroundings along with a homely cottage, hot tub and open fire meant we fully unwound and absorbed the relaxation we required.
