Just returned from the best week at Collfryn, the cottage was just has we expected and the owner was incredibly helpful with the information provided prior to our arrival. The cottage was well equipped with everything we could have needed and more. The scenery was absolutely stunning and the weather was an added bonus.
We had a lovely time despite everything going against us with my partner breaking her arm and us getting a puncture. Olwen the property own was incredibly helpful and a lovely lady and dug us out of a real hole, thank you so much, I really couldn't have asked for any more. The property is lovely and the scenery is amazing, can't recommend enough.
This was our second stay in two years and it was brilliant. A really beautiful cottage and we even got to see the farmers at work which was lovely. Highly recommend!
Another lovely stay at the cottage and Olwen made us feel very welcome Diolch. It's such a lovely peaceful place to stay and with all we needed. Enjoyed walk on Cambrian way and exploring the local area. Lived in Lampeter 33 years ago and coming back to this area is like coming home.

An absolute hidden gem tucked away in the breathtaking Welsh mountains. This idyllic cottage had everything we neededand morefor a perfect weeks stay. Every little detail was thoughtfully provided, ensuring complete comfort throughout. One of the true highlights was the hot tubsoaking in the warm water while gazing at the stunning views was simply priceless. It made the experience feel even more special. Communication with Olwen, the owner, was seamless. She was relaxed, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the local area, offering great tips to make the stay even better. We will most definitely be returning to this wonderful retreat!

Olwyn and her family were the perfect hosts. We arrived at the start of the Lambing season, and yet they still found time to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Watching the Lambs having just been born was magical! We didn't want to leave, arrived very tired and suffering from the pressure of everyday life, left energized with a new lease of life. The cottage was just beautiful, the fire and hot tub were particularly special, especially on a dark star lit Spring evening. Thank you all so much, we will be back!
A Perfect Mountain Escape! We had the most wonderful week at this beautiful cottage! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the thoughtful detailsthe chilled Prosecco, delicious treats, a wellstocked first aid kit, and plenty of wood for the cozy fireplace. Everything was so wellequipped, making our stay incredibly comfortable. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning mountain views that we enjoyed from the hot tubpure bliss! The cottage is truly familyfriendly, and our three little ones loved every minute here. Our dog was also in heaven, with plenty of space to roam and feel at home. Its clear that a lot of care has gone into making this a perfect retreat, and we are so grateful. Thank you for an unforgettable staywe will definitely be back!
This cottage is beautiful, the hosts were lovely and very helpful. We made plenty of use of the hot tub and the fireplace, which both helped make our trip really enjoyable and relaxing. The beds are comfy and I slept really well.
We had a really lovely stay, the house was perfect, with a beautiful warm fire and amazing views. We were able to use the hot tub and watch the sunset over the valley. We would definitely return. Olwen was so attentive, informing us of weather conditions very icey and cold week away on arrival so we could arrive safely, and also providing logs for the fire and checking in with us. Would definitely reccomend to anyone wanting a get away.

What a delightful cosy cottage. Nicely decorated and comfortable furniture. The wood burner was lit on arrival which made us feel welcome and the owner brought more logs during our stay which was a lovely gesture, as were the welcome goodies which we thoroughly enjoyed! The kitchen was really well equipped and the first place we have stayed to have an air fryer. We were most impressed. We opted to sleep downstairs as the stairs were a little tricky for us. The mattress does have a decided dip however it wasn't too much of a problem. The hot tub was a big hit especially with that spectacular panoramic view. The house is off the beaten track up a really steep lane but well worth it. All in all we had a great week, apart from the weather and we would book to stay again without hesitation.
The cottage is a real gem and we had a really lovely stay. The location on a hillside with some impressive views and lovely walks and lots of character. Cottage immaculate and with everything we needed including a great kitchen and lovdlybhistoric fire place. Owner very attentive to making sure our stay was a lovely one highly recommended.

Olwen made us feel very welcome, and provided us with additional logs which we were very grateful for! The house is in a gorgeous location, and it was lovely to sit in the hot tub watching the fog roll down the valley! There were a couple of quirks to the property which, whilst they didn't hamper our enjoyment, could be tweaked to ensure that everything was totally perfect! Firstly, the dishwasher door doesn't close easily, and requires a bit of jiggling and strength. Secondly the mattress in the downstairs bedroom has a decided dip in the centre which meant for some close encounters in the middle of the night However, these would not put us off coming again!

The cottage was absolutely wonderful and the views were just spectacular. Olwen was a great host and was so helpful giving us tip of things we could do around the the area with our little ones. Our border collie just loved the area around the cottage, she was in her element. I have to admit, it's one of the best equipped kitchens I've ever seen at a holiday let. Wonderful mini break away for our little family and would certainly stay again in the future.
A week spent in stunning landscape and an easy drive to shops and mountains. Plenty of local walking. Lovely host and their hot tub was divine.

This is an attractive property in a very private and idyllic setting. Very quiet and we were blessed with wonderful weather, so spent much time out of doors. Great bird spotting area including buzzards and red kites. The kitchen area was well equipped with a range of pots and pans plus cooking aids. Owners friendly and quick to respond to any questions or problems. Good beaches less than an hour away and excellent food at The Brigands for a night out. Would definitely return.

Brilliant. But maybe it should say on the description that the approach road is very steep and bendy one member of our party came in a small car that struggled with this. Otherwise, couldn't recommend it more highly IF you want somewhere off the beaten track where nature is your neighbour.

The cottage is in a beautiful location and the owner couldn't have been more welcoming. From this location we were easily able to visit other places and make the most of our holiday. The listing does not do this place justice. It is incredible. From the farmhouse, to the location, to the views. And the neighbours sheep and pheasants are not at all intrusive. It may not have all the modcons although it has more than enough, it more than makes up for it in atmosphere. Quaint, quirky and relaxing. We would go back there in a heartbeat.
Cosy, beautifully decorated well maintained in a very pretty location. We had such a peaceful time here. Will deffinatly return too.
