Cotsall House, Broadway

Lovely house. Lovely location and lovely grounds. I booked this for my girlfriends birthday and all her family came. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it

Lovely house with a beautiful garden, close to the centre of Broadway and with easy access to footpaths and the Cotswold Way. We very much enjoyed our stay and our overall rating is five stars. We would definitely go back. That said, just a couple of issues. The washerdryer was inadequate for a house with eleven people. The dryer seemed to barely work at all, and we were fortunate that the weather was mostly dry and we could hang clothes outside. Also, more minor, but a regular coffee maker would have been nice. The specific pods for the Nespresso machine were not available in local shops and we had to order them through Amazon. Last, the house is old and some of the doorways are low, so taller people need to be careful going through them.

Wow! What an amazing place From the moment that we arrived, until the moment we left, Cotsall House felt like home It was the perfect place to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday, and it was made to feel very special The location of the property is ideal, as it is literally 5 minutes walk to Broadway High Street and all of the local pubs, shops and restaurants We are a family of 11, 6 adults and 5 children aged from 3 to 12 years and the layout of the accommodation suited us perfectly There was plenty to do to keep the children entertained and because of the glorious weather, we were we all able to take full advantage of the beautiful outdoor space The house itself and the outdoor kitchen dining area was really well equipped to suit our every need. How could it be improved? A couple in our party love a hot tub

Lovely stay! ! Close walk to broadway and short drive from other villages. The house was beautiful and clean. Door was super stiff had troubles getting in. Would be back and recommend to others

Overall the property was excellent, clean and great location. The only complaint was that for a house designed to accommodate 8 people it had a tiny dishwasher which you would otherwise normally see in a one bed flat. Very odd choice of size.

Had a great time ,location very good everything you need in the house. Did request to get in early than 5,00pm was given 2.00pm but when we got there needed code for gates to let cars in but just to the right was a gate on a latch open all then time ?. one person slept downstairs know its a childs room but fill the bottom bunk needs a new mattress. Love the welcome pack many thanks . Would recommend it to friends and family fill you get more benefit in the summer lovely outside area

A wonderfully appointed property in an ideal location close to the centre and all the amenities of stunning Broadway. The property really could not be faulted. It is beautifully and tastefully decorated and the log burning stoves give it a really warm and cosy feel. There are are a number of period features which stand out including the fabulous flagstone floor in the hallway. It really is the perfect location for a family get together.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was well equipped, clean and furnished to a high standard. The garden area is a lovely feature, even on a cool autumn evening. The house was lovely and warm and the beds were very comfortable. Overall we were very happy and I would highly recommend the accommodation.

My family and I had a very memorable stay at Cotsall House. The property is lovely and the gardens are very well maintained. We particularly enjoyed being able to use the multiple outdoor dining space for lunchdinners. My only quibble with the property would be that given it accommodates 10 people, the dishwasher is small and we were only provided 3 dishwasher tablets for the stay, which meant we had to hand wash the majority of potspans etc. Very good communication with the employees of Sykes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house, garden, and location were excellent. We did need to contact the property manager to replace the iron and request additional fans for two bedrooms due to the heat upstairs these matters were handled promptly and efficiently. Broadway is a charming village to explore, and the walk up to the Tower was a highlight. The property was very comfortable for both adults and children, with the outdoor kitchen and barbecue being particular favourites. The garden lighting created a lovely atmosphere, and the multiple seating areas provided plenty of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Lovely house but needs a bit if money spent on it . Chipped paint all over. Some of the mattresses need changing. Lots of dust under sofas and general cleanliness needs to be improved. Cobwebs everywhere. Garden is very well maintained.

Perfect location and facilities. Definitely would return and recommend. My only observation to yourselves would be at times there wasnt hot water for a shower and also there wasnt any shower gel or cleaning products for showing provided. After a long journey to arrive it would have been appreciated especially after the amount of money paid to stay. In addition although we were lucky enough to arrive 2 hours early than the 5pm check in time, I really do think that needs to change. Ive never known a place to pretty much only give you an evening check in. The check out time was 10am but the cleaner arrived at 930. Great stay but a few things that I personally feel need to be altered to make it better

Stunning property in a brilliant location in the beautiful village of Broadway. Very well maintained and clean. It was very warm and cosy with lots of room for our party of 8. The garden was lovely and fully enclosed which was great for our dog. It must be lovely to visit in the summer and use the outdoor kitchen which again was stunning. I cant fault it at all. My only advice would be take a speaker for music as we couldnt find one in the house.

We had an amazing family week to celebrate my motherinlaws 90th birthday, ages ranged from 2190 years, and it ticked everyones boxes. The house was in a perfect location for walking into Broadway and exploring the stunning Cotswolds. The property itself was beyond our expectations, although as stylish, charming and comfortable as the pictures suggested. It was very clean and well maintained we appreciated the welcome gifts too. Only downside would be the duvet covers could have been larger on the beds, and the BBQ gas cylinder was empty. But really thats all we have to be critical about. Thank you for what will be a very special and memorable stay.

First time using Sykes Cottages to book a family get together. . it went so smoothly ,, Sykes kept me informed throughout the booking process ,,, all details emailed regarding times of arrival departure, access codes if any etc. I can honestly say we all had a fab time and I would and will definitely be using Sykes Cortages again!!

The property was immaculate and perfect for our family including two small dogs. A minor issue with the main gates was very quickly resolved. Perfect location. Quick walk into the village centre for coffee shops, lots of paths for dog walks and an excellent play park. Going forward, an electric car charging point would be a great addition.

The house and garden was lovely, in particular the outdoor kitchen gave us much pleasure on the beautiful sunny evenings. The garden was enjoyed by both our dogs. We found the living and snug cool places to escape during the very hot days of our stay. The attention to detail of interior decoration was a delight. I would strongly recommend this property for a family gathering.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Cotsall House celebrating my partners 50th birthday. The house is just beautiful and the outside space was great. We spent most of our time there. We loved it that much we want to come again next year. Broadway is a beautiful part of the country, you wont be disappointed. The only issues we had and they were minor but feel need addressing was the house was quite dusty with cobwebs here and there. We had someone with allergies and asthma and this did cause her an issue. The knife block needs replacing as the knives are blunt and difficult to work with. The dishwasher is tiny for the amount of people the house holds and lastly. If too many appliances are being used at the same time, the microwave or air fryer would trip the switches, a bit frustrating when trying to feed everyone. But on the whole a great week & cant wait to stay again xx

A great house in a great location. We were very lucky to be able to enjoy the outside space. A couple of minor things, that did not spoil our stay. Some of ledges, like around the bath and radiators had quite a bit of fluffy dust on them. The dishwasher was a bit small for a large group. The downstairs loo looked like it had a few brush strokes that were the wrong colour. It looked like someone had realised and just stopped. However, we have recommended the property to some friends and would stay again. A lovely house.

If looking for a house in Broadway this is perfect. Great location, very clean and comfortable property. Nice welcome pack when we arrived with well stocked cupboards etc to make the stay very easy. Just wished we could have used the outside space more as its very nice.

Had an absolutely lovely stay in this property, perfect for a family late Christmas meet up! Plenty of room for everyone and both dogs inside and out comfortable, spotlessly clean and with everything you need both in the property and within walking distance. Only wish we'd had nicer weather so we could have used the barbecue!

A wonderful house, stayed here for the new year with 8 adults and 3 children plenty of room for all. Great outdoor space for entertaining, The house is situation in a prime location of Broadway would definitely recommend this place

This is an absolutely beautiful house that was perfect for the 9 of us that stayed there, including 3 elderly parents. It is furnished and equipped excellently and we will definitely be looking at returning, possibly in the warmer months to make more use of the wonderful garden and outdoor area.

Beautiful property in an outstanding location. Really couldnt fault. Perfect for a family gathering of 7 2 dogs. Everything we needed was there and such a lovely touch with the welcome pack. Would definitely stay there again.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cotsall House. The outdoor space and facilities are exceptionally good. The house itself is lovely, clean and beautifully decorated and furnished. Be aware that access to the upstairs requires all users to have good mobility, the staircase is very steep and tight and there are steps between the landing and rooms.

We had a lovely stay to celebrate my dads 60th birthday. House was immaculate and in the perfect location. Thanks again!

Beautiful house. Fantastic for family reunions even over Christmas when it was cold, the outside fire and BBQ area was incredible and appreciated! Well looked after house, no complaints from us. As a suggestion, a larger dishwasher would go down well for a comfortable stay the tiny one isnt anywhere near sufficient for 11 people. We seemed to spend all our time washing up! Everyone very responsive & we were very happy with our stay. Would definitely return be great to experience the house in summertime.

A beautiful house in a fantastic location, we loved it. The owners were very responsive if needed and we would highly recommend it.

The only thing I would say could improve the stay would have been some form of baby gate as the stairs are very steep. Everything else was fantastic.

A really lovely house with all amenities required to enjoy a relaxing break. This property worked well for us as a family, it was spotlessly clean and provided a lovely home from home experience
