Crift Farm Cottage, Lanlivery

The house was excellent. Spotless inside. Donna and her family were super. Donna actually carried are suitcases in as I have limited mobility and my mum couldn't manage alone. Perfectly located for Fowey and Par Beach. The gift box was a really nice touch too.

It was a lovely property with a nice garden and had everything we needed. A bin in the bathroom would be helpful. A lovely touch with the cream tea in the fridge and a pint of milk. Bit disappointed as there was a small area to walk the dogs, but it was not fully secure as expected. We appreciate that dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms, however as the property is over three levels, this meant I had to sleep on the couch as the dogs are used to being in the room with us at night. On the plus side, the couch was very comfortable.

The touch of the welcoming gift of scones , jam and clotted cream was a nice touch. The accomodation was lovely and clean and perfect for our needs. The weather was glorious throughout our stay so the hot tub got used every morning and then again in the evening after a day out which is a very nice addition to this property.

Excellent accommodation as more than happy with all the extras included. Would definitely come again as very friendly ownes more than willing to help. Lovely location too can not fault it. Thanks for Lovely week. Dave and Lucy Money

Great base for exploring , the village is lovely and local Pub serves great food and locals are friendly not really walkable though . The area is fabulous for exploring with most places on your doorstep. The cottage has just about got everything you need , the hot tub is a bonus and we used it alot . Donna and her family are friendly but not on top Of you which we loved but if you want anything she was there for us . The only tiny thing was there were no waste bins upstairs even in bathroom which was a little odd but never said anything to her so she probably would have provided one . Would definitely recommend this cottage .

Although the property is pretty remote it is well worth the effort to get there if you are looking for a little peace and quiet. Being centrally located it has easy access to both north and south coasts of Cornwall. The property itself is over three floors and has many steps and stairs to negotiate. It is well equipped and has all you will need for a comfortable stay, it is very clean and well maintained. The garden is fully enclosed and ideal for your dogs, but more importantly it contains a great hot tub to while away the hours in complete relaxation. Not far away down the narrow country lane, is a lovely country pub serving good food and drinks in a quaint country setting. We had a lovely relaxing stay at this property as a couple and would recommend it to anyone who is fully mobile and a confident driver, looking for a peaceful get away holiday, that is close enough to major places of interest.

Lovely holiday home , hot tub was amazing. Donna the host was very friendly. I do think it needs a few more pieces of equipment in the kitchen tongs ,more pans and a baking tray . Not a deal breaker tho . Would recommend

A beautiful place to stay. It in such a quiet and beautiful area, up in the hills, not far away from the Eden project. The property has every thing you need. The hot tub is wonderful I even sat in it in the rain.

What a little gem of a place. Owners friendly and helpful, property well maintained, clean and comfortable. Ideally located to explore all of Cornwall and bonus of a hot tub to relax those aching muscles at the end of the day. Very peaceful location! Will return

This was our third stay at Crift cottage and it is a fabulous cottage has everything you could want from a holiday cottage we really enjoyed everything about the place and the owners were excellent we cant recommend the place highly enough. Vic Deb and Tango

Great stay at Crift Farm. Perfect base for what we wanted to do. Crabbing in Padstow, body boarding in Fistral, watching the sunset on Polkeris beach, adrenaline quarry, Truro, Pendennis Castle, St Catherines Castle.to name but a few things! We really enjoyed the hot tub at night and we were lucky enough to have clear night skies and saw the international space station zoom over and also saw a shooting star. What a fantastic place and lovely quiet location. Crift cottage is a great base to see lots of Devon and Cornwall. When we arrived there was a nice cream tea and bottle of wine waiting for us and the jacuzzi was lovely after a day of adventure. There was a local pub handy for food which we used regularly so confining. The hosts Donna and Ben gave us their mobile number but were not needed but great to know they were there if needed. The only small thing was as dog's are allowed in property there was a lingering small of dog's. Other than that what a brilliant place.

Had a wonderful few days, Donna and Ben were very nice and were on the end of the phone should we need them, this was not necessary as they had thought of everything. The cottage was very comfortable and felt very homely. Great cottage, perfect positioning for exploring. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We have just returned home after spending a fabulous week in this beautiful cottage. It was in a great location for seeing all the wonderful sights that Cornwall has to offer and the host Donner was more than helpful, the cottage was very clean and comfortable and the hot tub was so nice to use after our many amazing walks with our pooch Monty, we would definitely book again if we visited Cornwall again. The cottage is beautiful in gorgeous surroundings. The owners are lovely making you feel welcome and ensuring you have all you need . The hottub was lovely to use and as a family we all enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to return next year. Highly recommend staying here for a quite relaxing break with plenty of things to do nearby, and of course lots of gorgeous cornish beaches.

Was a lovely clean and well equipped cottage. Great base for travelling around from, and fabulous walks from the cottage door. Nothing too much trouble from the owner, she was there if needed but gave us privacy. The hot tub was great and the wine and teacoffee facilities on arrival were greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this cottage.

Lovely clean and comfortable cottage, but outside could do with an uplift, especially the worn and broken furniture.

This was my second stay at Crift Farm and the cottage was still lovely, clean & very well equipped. Donna is a great host, on hand if needed & also kindly put out shopping away when it arrived early! We will definitely be coming back again!

What a gem this is, Donna was extremely helpful and accommodating, the pictures don't do the place justice. Fantastic walks near by, lovely pub, very narrow lanes! Brilliant Farm shop, very quiet, hot tub is wonderful, glass of bubbly and watch the satellites go over in the evening. We will be back.

A delightful cottage with good facilities and helpful owners next door. Privacy respected and dogs well catered for. As I suffer from fibromyalgia life can be difficult some days and we are elderly people but we have no complaints and would highly recommend them. Ros and Ray GOALEN

This was an excellent property had everything that was required to enjoy an excellent holiday. Property was lovely and clean and hot tub was fantastic after a lot of walking during our days exploring. Theres a lovely pub in Lanlivery where we enjoyed many of our evening meals. Only downside was the extremely narrow roads but to get an idyllic setting that was part and parcel I suppose. Hosts were fabulous also

We had a lovely stay at Donna and Bens place, the hot tub was a real bonus and the secure garden for our Dog Milo was good too. Shame holidays go far too quick.

Gorgeous cottage beautifully clean, owners are lovely and although right next door it felt private and they didnt intrude unless we needed something. Hot tub was such a wonderful bonus , we would certainly return .

Everything we wanted and needed. If it works for our dogs then that is half the battle won. Walks on the doorstep, 15 minutes from both Cardinham Woods and Par Beach and much more if you have the time and weather on your side. The garden is completely enclosed,it is peaceful save for a few cowsand the sofa is magic for whatever combination of guests decides they want to get on that particular night. Everything is well presented and in good condition but the cottage is actually dog friendly rather than dog tolerant as is normally the case. We have just booked for 2023 2 weeks this time. Great value and real countryside!

What a wonderful home from home Crift Farm Cottage is. Beautifully decorated, good quality furnishings, bed linens, and all spotlessly clean. The garden is great for dogs and kids and the hot tub a HUGE bonus for the adults! We had everything that we needed for a great holiday. It was good to have Donna close by for recommendations for walks and trips out. The village pub, The Crown, just under new management is welcoming and serves great food. Although there are no shops in the village, when arriving to the cottage from the A390 there are 2 farm shops the one in the village is a community enterprise I think so worth supporting Sainsbury's also deliver if you want to order shopping online. The nearest convenience shop is in Parr about 10 mins drive. Parr Beach is also good for the dogs, they have run of the place all year round. Download the Just Park App so you're not caught out without change for the meter but it is free after 5pm. Lanlivery is well placed for visits to either coast. about 15 ins from Bodmin too. We really enjoyed our stay and cannot fault Crift Farm Cottage at all. Thank you Donna.

We had a wonderful fortnight at Crift Farm Cottage. The area was fantastic for our 2 greyhounds plenty of walks on the doorstep. The hot tub was a lovely way of relaxing and Donna and Ben were friendly and helpful Hope to meet them again sometime in the future

It was relaxing and like home. We used the 4acres around us for the doggies. Lots to see and do. Our host family were super. Would totally recommend and go to same home again

The cottage was really cosy in a really peaceful location. The hosts were friendly and happy to suggest things to do in the area which were dog friendly. The cottage was super clean and had everything we needed. It was located centrally in Cornwall and so all attractions wasnt too far away. We loved this cottage and would consider booking again when visiting this part of the country.

Great hosts, loved the hot tub and watching the stars from it. Easy to get to, some lovely local attractions and beaches nearby, lovely to walk the dog from the cottage to Helman tor xx
