Dunstanburgh View Reviews

Lovely accommodation overall. However there are minor defect such as window locks that should be checked. We love the area and the accommodation overall is conveniently positioned for easy access to beaches eating out etc. This is our 4th time staying in this area. We would highly recommended everything about it. We will be back.

Near excellent as it was last year. Only problems were the very creaky double bed and the mattress comfort, together with the need for a handrail for us oldies when getting out of the very deep and wide bath. No, a shower will not do since I have a special medical need to soak my old bones at the end of the day. We have already booked for next year but it would be most disappointing not to be able to visit because it is my, and my husband's very special holiday destination and Dunstanburgh is very nearly perfect!
Sadly the noise made by the heat pump would stop me recommending this place to anyone.

The accommodation has wonderful views, the living area is spacious and there is a well equipped kitchen. Embleton is a great little village with pubs and a good shop and with fantastic walks north and south. We only used the car twice, for a day trip to Alnwick and to Alnmouth station for a day out in Edinburgh. We couldn't park in our parking bay because of all the apples falling from the apple tree but we used the visitor's parking bay. I would have given 5 stars but the bathroom could have been much cleaner and the towels fresher.

Fabulous week as always, have stayed here many timed, can't fault it. Will be booking again without doubt!
