Eden Vale Reviews

Joanne
It's a lovely & comfortable cottage in a great location with a peaceful garden. The hot tub is a real treat & easy to manage. Super shops & cafes in the square & fantastic walking all around.

We really enjoyed our stay at Eden Vale. The cottage has a lot of charm and was well equipped for our visit. We loved the location in Broughton, just a short twominute walk to the local pubs. The garden was excellent for our dogs, providing them with the freedom to explore safely within the private space. We attempted to use the hot tub but found it challenging to operate, partly due to the limited lighting in the garden at night, which made it somewhat risky, especially the wooden steps which became slippery when wet. Additionally, if you enjoy sleeping with the window open, please be aware that the road outside the cottage is quite busy, which may disturb sleep on some nights. The living room was cozy, and it was nice to have access to various streaming services on the TV after a long day. The cottage was generally clean, though it could benefit from a thorough dusting in some areas. It would also be helpful if there were a few dishwasher tablets available, as we had to purchase a small supply ourselvesthough we only used three or could bring your own Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Eden Vale and certainly plan to return in the future!

The cottage was absolutely beautiful and set in a fantastic location within a gorgeous, friendly little village. It was the perfect getaway spotpeaceful, charming, and full of character. The only downside was the lack of lighting in the garden. Wed been really looking forward to using the hot tub, but it was too dark to enjoy safely, which was a huge disappointment since it was one of the main reasons we booked. That said, everything else was perfect and we had a lovely stay overall.
Whilst we were quite happy with the accommodation. I do feel i need to mention the road that is right outside the property. I get the impression that this road is used as a short cut through Broughton and is quite busy and this can be heard inside the property day and night. So if you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday please be aware
Had a wonderful weekend at Eden Vale, the cottage had a lovely cosy atmosphere ... Had a wonderful weekend at Eden Vale, the cottage had a lovely cosy atmosphere and the dog certainly enjoyed the enclosed garden
Such a gorgeous cozy place to stay! Beautiful garden, lovely interior, and of course the hot tub is great. With enough confidence and commitment it's pretty easy to get it heated, it was our first time using a wood powered tub and it was so fun. Would highly recommend!
We loved it. Brilliant little cottage and area.

We had a great time in this lovely cottage. Louise was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is in a lovely village and everyone is very friendly. Two nice pubs practically on the doorstep and some lovely walks near the area. I would definitely recommend and hope to return.
Thank you for another lovely stay at Eden Vale, very cosy and the cottage has everything you need for a relaxing break. The garden is great, and the hot tub works well once you get the hang of it! Looking forward to our next stay!
The cottage was perfect for us. Really cosy to return to after a day of adventures and ideally situated. The cottage itself has everything you would need including a washing machine which was handy. We also have a very energetic dog who lived exploring the garden which is completely enclosed. A lovely stay and we will.look to return.
We have just spent 4 nights at this delightful cottage. It is full of charm and character, totally dog proof and has a fantastic garden. It is just a stroll from a dog friendly, welcoming pub and also has a wood fired tub in the garden. It is close to the lakes and the countryside is stunning locally. Slight downside but not vital was there was no microwave although mentioned in the description. Also the shower was flooding because the filter needed cleaning. Apart from that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are thinking about coming back next year for a week. Thank you for a fabulous staycation
Were already planning our trip for next year. Such a fabulous areawelcoming localsgood amenities and local pubs. Fabulous walks from the doorstep and what a doorstep! Eden Vale is full of characterhistory and the perfect place to stay. We had a welcome package greeting us and a good supply of wood for firing the hot tub! Great fun! Thank you so much for having us. Lou, Paul, Heather, Muffin and Marla x See you next year!
Great communication from the property owner, welcome pack on arrival, clean, tidy and well equipped. We had a lovely stay albeit short. Shops and Pub very close . Many thanks
