Fron Olau Reviews

Melanie
Really lovely cottage, fantastic views. Really enjoyed our holiday and would recommend to others.
Nicola
We had a wonderful stay at Fron Olau Cottage! The cottage itself is amazing beautifully presented, with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing break. The views are absolutely incredible, and we were lucky with the weather, so we enjoyed some of the most spectacular sunsets right from the cottage. The beach is just a short walk away, and we loved our evening strolls along the sand as the sun went down. The hot tub was a huge hit with everyone the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day! During our stay, we took a trip to Snowdonia and rode the railway up to the summit breathtaking views in every direction. We also visited Whistling Sands Beach sadly, we didnt hear the famous squeak, but its still a beautiful spot. One day, we enjoyed lunch at The Cliffs in Morfa Nefyn and then walked along the beach to the Ty Coch Inn a real highlight. Wed also recommend The Potted Lobster in Abersoch for a delicious meal, and the village has some lovely little shops to browse. Thank you for a truly memorable stay we hope to return!
Charlotte
A really wonderful holiday home. We had a fantastic week with two small children 2 and 5. Views to die for, really well cared for property and fantastic wood fired hot tub. Thank you!

My family & I love this beautiful cottage. It has everything one could as for. You feel relaxed the minute you step inside. The view is absolutely spectacular across the bays & out to sea. The cottage is like home from home with all the amenities you could want. The welcome packs are delightful yes.there is even one for your dog. The hosts are amazing and have thought of everything! Thanks once again for having us Fron Olau.see you again in May 2026!! Xx
If you are contemplating a stay herestop right now and just book it already! See views, hot tub, gorgeous decor and a stunning seven acre garden what more could you wish for? Spectacular location, gorgeous house, everything very well thought through and a real feeling of welcome !
Absolutely gorgeous property, incredibly relaxing. 100 recommend
Beautifully renovated cottage with incredible views. It was truly a magical experience staying here. This was the first time back on the Llyn Peninsula in 21 years so we wanted to make it special and staying here it really was.
Well there is certainly a welcome in this Welsh hillside! What a wonderful cottage, a real home from home, equipped to a very high standard with everything you need and more. The owners have not skimped in providing all you need for a restful break. Even toys and treats for your fourlegged friend are provided, along with a comfy bed and blanket, they even provide a cover if you have forgotten yours to allow for your furry friend to snooze on the sofa with you. The hot tub is superb and towels for this specific use are provided. The views are amazing and provide a perfect backdrop to a relaxing dip in the tub. Now the final track that leads to the cottage is narrow but if I can negotiate it in my SUV then anyone can...just be careful. All in all, probably the best cottage we have even stayed in..
Barbara
A very special cottage with spectacular views. Hot tub was fab as were the gardens which our two dogs loved to explore. Will be returning..

Fron Olau is a gem. A very well appointed holiday home with the feel of an upmarket boutique hotel. Everything you could think of is provided and with the numerous seating areas you cant fail to appreciate the stunning views and relax or just sink into the hot tub and chill. Wed definitely recommend Fron Olau and the Llyn Peninsula! .

This is an expensive cottage so it better be good. Luckily it is with amazing views, exceptional quality fittings, a top of the range kitchen, a lovely garden, helpful and responsive openers and even a fun wood fired hot tub. Recommended.
Richard
Absolutely loved this Little Gem, well actually not so little. Beautifully furnished and well equipped, we wanted for nothing. The garden and the views were amazing, will definitely return. Thank you for our lovely stay x
Thomas
We were highly impressed with the cottage, notably the well executed mix of modern conveniences and a traditional feel, the perfect blend of luxury and character. It came very well equipped with everything you could need for cooking, cleaning, etc. Our son loved the the toys and exploring the lush garden. The welcome goodies including chocolate and fizz were a nice touch. The location is close to the village so near to amenities, but is up on the hillside offering plenty of privacy. The driveway is narrow so care is required, but its well worth the effort though as youll be rewarded with the most gorgeous views and a little slice of heaven. The icing on the cake was watching the sunset over the Irish Sea while enjoying a beverage in the hot tub. We book cottages fairly often and we can easily say this is one of the, if not the best one weve stayed in to date! Weve taken with us the best memories and would mostly definitely considering returning.
