Our second stay here and we have booked again for next year! Perfect location and really comfortable accommodation. Beds very comfortable. We love the large, open plan, kitchen diner and tend to use this room the most even to watch tv in the evening. Fabulous full bifold doors to the garden and hot tub. We had extreme hot weather this year during our stay but the snug stays SO cool as its completely shaded from the sun if you need somewhere cool to chill out in the evening. Always assured of a fab holiday at this property.

We loved glebe Holme. We stayed next door 2 years ago and book this one for last year, iwe had to move out a year as our daughter had surgery. We loved the cottage, the whole house was well equipped, including hand soap in all the bathroom. We love it so much weve booked it for next year!

The property is in a great quiet location. The house is lovely and well set out , the garden is very nice and hot tub is great after a day of walking , the utility room was great for wet dogs and drying things out after the rain, will definitely return

Clean, comfortable, spacious and wellequipped accommodation in a great location. Plenty of towels were provided and it was helpful to have a separate toilet in addition to the ensuite and bathroom. Soap was provided at each sink and a handy cleaning kit in the kitchen. It would have been nice to have a welcome pack providing sufficient to make a hot drink on arrival. We used a car rarely, the rest of the time using regular local buses and a trip on the steamer on the lake. The bus stop is about 2 minutes walk away on level footpaths. We enjoyed local walks from Glebe Holme. We would certainly return.

Great location with ample parking we have 2 large cars. Glebe Holme is always a pleasure to stay at and is always well presented and clean. We are returning visitors and Yes we have already booked for our next holiday. The accommodation has a large sitting, dining, kitchen area with Sky TV which is great for families. Doors open out onto the hot tub and garden area. There is also a separate snug area which also boasts Sky TV. Overall this is a lovely modern comfortable and well maintained property.

A fantastic property for a family stay in the Lakes. It is within walking distance of Bowness. We were a family of 6 plus two babies and the property was able to comfortably fit us all and was very spacious. The integrated kitchen and large island was great. Outside we made use of the hot tub to relax. We would recommend this property

We spent a wonderful week at Glebe Holme this August and absolutely loved it. Its a beautiful, spacious property, perfect for a family with young children, with plenty of room to play indoors and out, and just a short walk to the lake. Our two dogs settled in happily too, which was a real bonus. When we werent out exploring, we enjoyed the cosy kitchensnug area or relaxing in the jacuzzi. The clever layout, with the living room between the kitchen and bedrooms, meant we didnt have to tiptoe around once the children were asleep. The house was very well equipped, making our stay easy and comfortable. The owner was friendly and quick to respond to our questions, and the property service team were excellent in letting us know about some belongings wed left behind, offering to post them to us. It truly felt like a home away from home, and well definitely be returning.

Glebe hole is a wonderful base location for all activities in the Lake District, its close to Bowness with lots of shops bars and restaurants. Walking distance to lake activities and the main ferry. The house its self is well appointed spacious and very clean. Couldnt fault our stay.

Good location, great for walking into Bowness or down to the carfoot passenger ferry. Plenty of space and all the accessories you will need for your stay. The owner was very helpful if we ever had any questions. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Beautiful property and in an ideal location for lots of walks around Bo'ness. Hot tub was super! Open plan kitchenliving area was perfect, with everything you could possibly need for a holiday stay. My only suggestion would be to improve mattresses on single beds. When being used by adults, they were not hugely comfy and one mattress didn't even have a mattress protector so all the indents from mattress could be felt. However, genuinely perfect property!

On returning this year we found the ensuite plug would not stay down so had to have tap running when shaving Again this year the ensuite mirror light wasn't working A few of the doors were catching that needs easing A few stains were on the towels that weren't there last year There was rubbish in 1 of the wheelie bins which was half full when we arrived , so on leaving unfortunately we also ended up leaving about the same which we apologise for but apart from taking it away with us we had no other choice Also a guy turned up on Thursday to trim up the neighbouring bush and filled 1 of the empty bins up with all the cuttings which didn't happen last year In all though a great property where we all said we would return to again. .......

We had a very enjoyable week at Glebe Holme. Everything was as we had hoped and expected, and also very safe for our dog. We went on plenty of walks and it was ideally situated close to the lake, shops and restaurants but most importantly the icecream van! Highly recommended.

Lovely stay at this gorgeous bungalow. The photos dont really do the place justice. The place was spacious and had all we needed for our stay. The location is great too we stumbled back from the local pubs a few times !

Great family kitchen, diner, and seating area that leads out to patio and hot tub, brilliant for families, as is the gated garden and driveway. . Utility room well equipped, the water was always hot, showers good, nicely carpeted comfortable sofas. The beds look good in photos, but the properties Achilles heel is the mattresses are well past their best, and need replacing. Otherwise defo one nicer holiday homes.

This is a fantastic property with everything you need provided. It has a sky package as well as a hot tub so in relation to other properties the same, it is great value. The location is good, we park 2 large cars easily. We have stayed here 3 times now and rate it our no 1 choice out of many holiday lets and hope to keep on returning. There are TVs in every bedroom invaluable with children as is the small snug room . The property is alway immaculately cleaned on arrival and is a total credit to the owners.

Absolutely amazing house. Bedrooms and bathrooms all clean. Living areas were big and spacious. Out door space was lovely and all enclosed keeping the dog safe. Would highly recommend. I will certainly be looking to book again!

A fantastic cottage finished to a high standard and well maintained The location is great, a 5 minute walk to Lake Windermere itself along qith its bars, shops and restaurants. A Tesco express only a 10 minute stroll into Bownes village itself Our family of 6, and 2 dogs had a great weeks stay over the late May bank holiday and are already looking to book again

Excellent accommodation in good location, short walk to town and shoreline, towels for hot tub now provided which was much appreciated. Kitchen facilities and outside area very good for family use, have booked again for next year. Very happy with our holiday.

This holiday let is amazing, location is perfect, a very clean house, all on one level, hot tub a lovely added luxury. Everything has been thought of. Im pleased I read previous reviews and knew to take something for when wed been in the hot tub, we took beach towels for each of us to use, spare towels or robes would be useful, or to state they are definitely not included. The only negative wed say, is the house is a bit on the cold side, the bathrooms in particular, and although our stay was over Easter it was really difficult to get the bathrooms to dry out, we were using the bath towels to try and dry them but then after going out all day and returning, the walls were still running with water and the floor was very cold. We did turn the heating up a bit, but the bathroom radiators didnt dry them out. We ate every night in the property, instructions for everything were very clear, every utensil, pot or pan we needed were there! We discovered the Lake District and an added bonus didnt use the car for a few days! Thank you for a lovely stay

Excellent cottage very handily located for Bowness. Really well equipped and comfortable accommodation. Would thoroughly recommend and we'll definitely book again.

Great location within walking distance of all amenities in Bowness. The cottage has been renovated to a lovely standard but a few things let it down There are no poolhot tub towels provided so we had to use the bath towels. Not great when you then needed a shower later. Also the outside area had not been cleaned, the table needed a good wipe over and there was dog poo in the garden. Fortunately we have dogs so had our own poo bags but if you are not dog lovers it would have been very unpleasant. Although the main bedroom now has a mirror on the drawers is was useless as its too low and not near a plug for the hairdryer! Lastly, I have never stayed in a property of this standardcost before where there is no welcome pack milk, a bottle of wine, local produce etc provided. Not only that, the teacoffeesugar caddies had also been emptied and anything else other guests may have left. The agents, however had left us their own welcome gift pack a pan scrubber, dishcloth, 2 bin bags, 3 dishwasher tablets not enough when you are there for a week and 20ml washing up liquid. How insulting!

Lovely bungalow, great location, this is our second visit to Glebe Holme. There is everything you could need provided and the addition of sky on 2 TVs when travelling with small children was a godsend for evenings. The property is comfortable and spotlessly clean with plenty of parking for anyone with large vehicles. This property is a credit to the owners.

Super property. Well equipped. Excellent storage for coats and shoes. Could do with the washing line going across the grass instead of the patio area for dripping clothes after using the hot tub. Otherwise, pretty near perfect.

Coffee machine had not been cleaned for some time so we had to clean out congealed milk. Main bathroom drain blocked inside shower resulting in floor needing mopping after every use.

Side door key stuck in lock but later heard this door has ongoing problems. On arrival no travel cot which was requested previously and took several calls to sort out so maybe a travel cot in the property would be a good idea. Although both problems sorted I had to make several calls when all I wanted was a return communication that maintenance were on their way. The problems were minor issues as the property itself is a beautiful property and has been well thought out. The sky tv was a bonus with 2 small children and location is second to none. The kitchen is well stocked and the ice dispensing fridge was a godsend in hot weather. We have already booked Glebe Holme for 2022 so need I say more.

A fantastic location with amenities in walking distance. The property was immaculate. So good that we have booked again for next year!!!!
