Well where can I begin! From the moment we pulled up outside the house,we knew we were going to have a wonderful stay,to say the house was Stunning was an understatement! We were there as a family to celebrate my 60th birthday, we all lead busy lives and coming together for quality time is difficult, we made a point of keeping our calenders free for a bank holiday mini break. I can only describe the house as Very Grand,gorgeous traditional features with a modern twist,really clean and welcoming. The bedrooms and beds were very comfortable, with lots of storage for our bits and pieces. As the weather was kind to us, we enjoyed sitting in the lovely garden and my sons little maltipoo dog,enjoyed chasing the pigeons!It's great that the accommodation is dog friendly. All I can say is if you are thinking of booking this Gorgeous house,don't hesitate, we all had a Brilliant time and would definitely book again.Thank you so much! Xx

We loved the house, it had everything you needed, and in the surrounding area. Close to the beach and a few minutes drive to shops and retail park. The house had very good facilities. Shower is great! Huge garden which we had a few guests like squirrels and a deer. I would highly recommend this house. Our only issue, was the cleanliness at the beginning. There was an empty chocolate box under the sofa, a pair of boys underwear in a drawer and a couple of bags of dog poo by the back gate. Easy mistakes to happen, but it didn't effect our holiday. The hostsOwners were very good and bought us a bottle of wine and chocolates. Great service.

This is a lovely house, warmed for our arrival on a cold February day. It has every facility one could want, and several of our extended family came for various days during our week there. The grandchildren loved exploring the loft and the gardens. Access is easy through the keybox near the front door, and there are 2 parking spaces in the front garden. We stayed in Clacton principally to continue our coastal path walk and this year covered HarwichSt Osyth. The house was perfect for this, just a short walk from the bus stops. Being untechnical, we had various questions about the many TVs, and the owner was most friendly and helpful in talking us through these. More importantly, when we left a couple of important items behind, she located them for us and sent them on. So this house was perfect for what we wanted to do, but even if you want simply to spend a few leisurely days pottering around Clacton, you will love it here in such a comfortable and relaxing place.
