Loved it. Fit all the family in and was loads of room. Really enjoyed our stay

We had a great stay! There were 16 of us and there was plenty of room. Great that so many of the rooms have ensuites and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Would recommend this accommodation for groups.

Ideal Holiday cottage for a large group with all the facilities you need, this works out much cheaper than going into a Hotel, well recommended. Thanks to Julie our host.

Exceeded expectations and the whole group thoroughly enjoyed our stay, didn't want to leave. Only negative is the bedrooms directly above the boiler room which needs to be looked at to reduce the noise!!

I booked this cottage for a 60th birthday celebration weekend with friends. The cottage was perfect with so many bedrooms with ensuites. We all had a fantastic time, the cottage was really clean. The living area was comfortable and the hot tub was a great addition. The area was lovely, we we're able to enjoy walks on thd beach. Taxi's into scarbrough, and lunch on Sunday in Hummanby. Overall a fabulous weekend. Would definitely stay again.

Our large family group of 3 generations found Honeysuckle Cottage suited us pretty well. The cottage is spacious and wellequipped with ample carparking. The hot tub was much appreciated, as was the games area. The only significant maintenance issue we noticed was the shower in one the 3 bedrooms on the 'upper deck' doesn't work properly.

Amazing place for a large number of people. We had a problem with one of the many toilets and it was dealt with very quickly. The only reason I havent given it top marks on comfort is because I feel that the pillows need replacing Would definitely recommend it to friends and family

A great house which is very comfortable and well equipped. It is within walking distance of a beautiful beach. The management team were very helpful. Electric car owners should be aware that there are very few public chargers on the Yorkshire coast that become very over subscribed during the school summer holidays.

A fantastic holiday cottage for a large group. The communal areas were a great size and it was nice to have the option to sit outside. Kitchen very well stocked, although missing washing up liquid which would have been useful. Beds were very comfortable and rooms nicely made and clean. We had a maintenance issue on arrival but this was quickly sorted and the communication from our host was excellent. Would definitely recommend

Honeysuckle is perfect for large gatherings as there is plenty of space both inside and out. There are enough bathrooms to easily accommodate everyone, beds are comfortable and kitchen is fully equipped. Lots of information available for places to visit things to do. Also space for multiple cars. The customer service was exemplary.

We came to celebrate 3 very special birthdays and our age range was from 6 to 90. This accommodation is fantastic for large groups with enough space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The kitchen and large dining area is great for meal time gatherings and card games. Highly recommend it for large parties you will not be disappointed.

First impressions were positive a large property with lots of bathrooms, enough for our large group. Nice area in close proximity to other towns villages. Unfortunately once you see past this you will be left disappointed. The house was very unclean, dirty floors, walls, bathrooms and facilities. Dirty bedding, dirty socks found in 2 of the beds which clearly evidence they had not been changed. Dishwasher thats doesnt clean dishes, oven door doesnt close properly, poor plumbing drainage the list goes on. There was a nice sized garden and hot tub. Unfortunately the owners only provide minimal chemicals 23 tablets which for the size of the tub, the large number of guests the home accommodates and for a weeks stay this is inadequate resulting in us being unable to use the tub for the majority of the week. Did co tact the owners who said it would cost 150 for further chemicals. We also had other issues like leaking tap etc, this was addressed in a timely manner but other issues were ignored by the owners. Be warned that this place is old and tired and does not appear to be cleaned and maintained. Owners are very dismissive of issues and from reading other reviews on various sites it appears that the issues we experienced are ongoing. I wouldnt book again there are much nicer venues for similar prices.

Excellent party house, great facilities fir games. Heating was difficult to adjust which was only a minor dink in a great weekend. Would highly recommend

Lovely weekend away for an 80th birthday just what we were looking for. Plenty of room for 22, can walk to beach. Hot tub great and big enough for few of us. Lovely quiet area Short drive to Filey.

On Entry to the holiday home it was very clean and tidy. Kitchen Spotless. Bedrooms Spotless. Bathrooms Spotless. Very nice overall feel. We had a bit of a issue with the Hot Tub which was extremely cold 7pm . We was aware that the advise beforehand that the tub will be not at full temp but this was freezing. However Sam maintenance man was already on site and we asked him if he could look at it. Straight away he advised something wasn't correct and he then stayed with also travelling to Bridlington to get something to fix it. He drained the Tub and put some hot water in. The electrics then went in the kitchen an Sam was there straight away to assist. Certain bedrooms the heating didnt work and was very cold. But we just moved our guests to another room where it worked. Over all we had an amazing time. And would certainly go back. Thanks for helping me make Birthday memories.

This is a lovely cottage. The Christmas decorations were a lovely touch. For such a large property it was kept very warm with the heating and there were no draughts. As mentioned in another review, although everything else is very clean, the dining room table is sticky and the more you try to clean it the stickier it seems to get. Also we booked for 2 nights and the hot tub must have been switched on just before our 4pm arrival on the Friday night as it was not up to temperature until the following morning which meant we missed using it for 1 of our 2 nights which was disappointing.

Absolutely fantastic weekend away at Honeysuckle! The house had had everything we needed! Large kitchen, large lounge which meant we could all be together! Fab hot tub! Clean, tidy! We will back next year!

The cookers were inadequate. They just didn't cook. 90 minutes to cook burgers! Some of the shower trays were not emptying. Think the drains must have a blockage. Otherwise it was a very nice comfortable stay.

Hunnysuckle itself is a lovley cottage in a quiet rural area with easy accseess to lots of lovely beaches and attractions. On arrival everything looked lovely and welcoming. As we started to unpack we noticed that the cleaning was not of a good standard . The large table was sticky. The mat in the lounge was stuck to a dirty floor as if it had just been cleaned around. There were random pieces of confettie sprinkled about the propertie from previous parties including a large plastic butterfly wing of a toy made up in one of the beds. I found dried dog feeces on the lawn that had turned white, so this would of been there for a while. The hottub did not work properly and kept going down so we kept having to fill up to be able to use. The bins outside the properties were over full and the lids jammed open thus causing flies. The fly problem was absolutely horrendous and we went through approx 20 fly tapes in the week we were there changing them daily as they were full. I do however understand that the area suffers with flies at this time of year so maybe some sort of fly screen or curtains could be fitted to the doors etc. We paid a lot to stay in this holiday home and was quite disappointed. With things that could be easily rectified. I would like to say that this is a lovely propertie and if these few problems were straightend out it would make a lovely holiday for future large groups .

Absolutely Excellent! Could not have wished for a better service.

The house is beautiful, we had an absolutely brilliant stay. The facilities are exactly what we needed and more. The rooms were all spotless, tidy and welcoming. The kitchen had absolute everything we needed and more and the seating area was brilliant. Outside was excellent clean and spacious and the hot tub was excellent.

Perfect for large group get togethers! !

It was a lovely cottage a perfect place to meet family and celebrate but there were a few things that could have made it even better. The oven was dirty as were the trays for use in the oven. There were glasses with lipstick on them and cobwebs above the cupboards in the kitchen. We could have done with a hosepipe to top up the hottub, as it was very windy, when the jets were switched on it blew the water everywhere except in the hottub. Small details but things that would we would expect to be done.

Wonderful property and location, immaculate with great facilities. We had a wonderful break with family and friends, would highly recommend and definitely come back

We are so pleased we came across honeysuckle cottage! Had booked for a large group to celebrate my husbands 30th birthday. Plenty of room for all of us. Facilities were great hot tub was lovely! Extremely clean. Very reasonably priced. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely property.
