Linhope Reviews

Dan
Comfy, warm, spacious, and with everything you need to relax and enjoy yourselves. We stayed with our two dogs and they were right at home. The proximity of some amazing beaches and walks was just perfect for us, and everything needed was within easy reach. The owners were thoughtful to provide snacks and tea/coffee for our arrival so we were able to unload, refresh and get straight onto the beach after a 5 hour drive. Will definitely return, as the location and the property were first class.

Simply a fantastic property to stay at very high standards throughout great base to travel or walk too Embleton. Low Newton , Beadnell Seahouses and Bamburgh. Alnwick is only 10 mins in car for shopping if required We highly recommend this property and location. We will book again in the future
Margaret
Very comfortable and in quiet location. Ideal for exploring the Northumberland coast Owners were very nice and reassuring when contacted about an issue which was resolved without their assistance.
Phil
Lovely, new build property, fitted to a very high spec. Loved our week in Linhope. Great location in our favourite holiday spot. Thanks all.
Sharon
Linhope is a comfortable spacious property finished to a high spec in a good location. The house is well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The welcome pack was much appreciated. It was easy to reach a number of places such as Embleton, Low Newton and Bamburgh. The Walled Garden Cafe at the latter is lovely, our grandchildren had a great time in the playground and the food was excellent, especially the cheese scones. We very much enjoyed our holiday and would like to return.
Samantha
Home from home. Lovely house with everything you could possibly need.
Helen
A superb cottage that was ideal for our familyâ??s stay. Quality and clean throughout, felt very much like a home from home, much more so than you usually get when staying at a holiday property. The kitchen was very well equipped. Plenty of space inside and out, ideally located for exploring the local area and for our daughterâ??s wedding at Newton Hall. As our family were staying in both Linhope and Coquet, it was a really useful touch having a gate in the back fence between the two houses that we could open to go between the two
David
Everything about Linhope was excellent, no negatives at all. We had a thoroughly fantastic week.
Stuart
We really enjoyed our stay at the house, 3 generations of family. The pub in the village doesn't serve food which is a pity, but we walked to Embleton via the bridle path (about 30 minutes) and there are 2 pubs that sell food and the golf course Club House also sells food.
Patricia
A fantastic cottage is a beautiful area. The cottage was spotlessly clean throughout. The beds were super comfortable - the best sleep I have had in a holiday cottage! The living area is spacious with a lovely outlook onto the garden. The enclosed garden was fantastic for our small dog. This cottage is a real gem and I would recommend a stay here.
Colleen
Beautiful property, really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely return
Vaughan
It was a lovely, clean, warm and well equipped property. Furnishings & decor was of a very high standard. The location suited our needs and was great for visiting the area. We would definitely recommend this property.

On arrival the property was exceptionally clean and nice and warm. We book uk holidays all the time and this was bar far the cleanest weâ??ve stayed in. The welcome pack was a nice touch too! The property is in a great location for visiting other places in Northumberland but its closeness to the road especially at night was quite noisy with traffic. Although youâ??re a bit away from the train line they were very noisy too, with all the windows shut it was quiet so only an issue when you have the windows open. All this said I would definitely recommend this property as a base for exploring Northumberland.
Laura
We can not recommend this highly enough, the cottage was immaculate, extremely comfortable, facilities were excellent and location superb. We had a fabulous week here, managing to explore the wonderful beach walks at Seahouses, Bamburgh, Embleton Bay etc. I would certainly book again.
Hilary
Great property owned by great hosts ! Owners checked in on us a couple of times following scheduled power cut just to make sure we were all ok â?¦
Loretta
Lovely, well equipped holiday home not far from the sea and some beautiful beaches.
