We had a very enjoyable time at Malt Barn with our family. There was plenty of space for our group of 8 adults and five children. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of outside space, which wasn't clear from the listing. It also didn't say that there is a country park only a short walk away. We had a warm welcome at the Masons Arms where the landlord introduced us to the local game of Aunt Sally fun for both adults and children. There were inevitably a few minor niggles. For example, lids for several saucepans were missing and the popup plugs in the bath and one wash basin didn't work. Overall though, the Malt Barn is very well equipped and maintained, and the area around is very pleasant with lovely views. In May the hawthorn in bloom is impressive

A lovely house, lots of room for 8 people. Very warm, a bit too warm in the lounge when we were all in there! The hot tub was a lovely bonus but the chlorine was a bit of a problem for our eyes and because it was cold outside leaving the door open was not an option. Perhaps some kind of ventilation or being able to open a window would help. But overall it was a lovely stay and would certainly book again.

Perfect accommodation for a family of different age groups . Good heating system and hot tub . Well laid out property. Housekeeping and communication very good . Easy arrival and departure. Would recommend.

Fabulous property for a family Christmas gathering. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and had the best equipped kitchen ever. From booking to arrival we had great communication with Dot the housekeeper who gave us the most thorough welcome handover and had decorated the property beautifully for Christmas. The bedrooms were a great size with very comfortable beds and there was always plenty of sitting and space for our party of 12. The location was ideal for a visit to the Cotswold Wildlife Park and little villages. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a venue for a larger group and there is the added bonus of the local pub being just down the road!

Our party of 11 females had a wonderful weekend stay at the Malt Barn. The accommodation is lovely. Very comfortable, and has everything you could possibly need as far as kitchen equipment is concerned. Really well located for a trip into Oxford or Burford. We also visited tge Cotswold Wildlife Park, a few miles away, which was lovely.

Very impressed with the cottage clean comfortable. Well stocked with useful items washing up sponge j cloth, plenty of toilet paper kitchen rolls tea towels as well as every kind of crockery glasses kitchen tools etc. Beds very comfortable, super showers. Good activities hot tub spotless badminton, table tennis, outside games for children. Superb housekeeper gave us every support.

We had a fantastic stay in Malt Barn 13 of us over 3 generations with facilities like a downstairs room and a hot tub and table tennis making everyone happy. The housekeeper was there to greet us with a detailed tour. We did have a problem with the oven shelves but this was very quickly sorted with a new oven installed! Thank you

As a family of 13, ages 9 to 73, plus 2 dogs, we all enjoyed our few days at Malt Barn. The house was spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. The hot tub was a great success as were all the outdoor games. The only issue we had was with the oven shelves not fitting securely. This almost caused a nasty accident when removing hot dishes. If this was fixed Malt Barn would be given 10 stars!!

An exceptional property. Very clean and extremely well equipped. The bedrooms are very adaptable so will suit all groups and families. Very pleased with our stay & hope to rebook
