In doors perfect outside gate needs repairing ,lot of time and money spent on flower tubs etc looks good but spoilt by large rose bush been felled and left lying all over the lawn , drain at side blocked wastewater from shower and sink running down towards gate still had an excellent stay Roger

Lovely accommodation only 5 mins from beach front with lovely beach front walks ... Lovely accommodation only 5 mins from beach front with lovely beach front walks secure rear garden for our 2 dogs dog treats poo bags and lead available to use friendly neighbours parking for 2 cars Within easy reach of local towns n Lincoln Efficient Central heating kept us warm on the occasionly cool evenings plenty of hot water for showers n washing up spotlessly clean All in all great place to stay

We had a lovely stay at this property. The locations is ideal for dog walks and the beach. The property is well equipped and clean. The only minor point we have are that the rear gate had no lock or bolt so with a dog or small child we worried they might get out. Lovely touch of having a welcome pack, dog treats etc. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely up to date clean cottage, we enjoyed every minute, only downside was there was no tea towel apart from that everything was in place, very steep step to get into cottage. recommended

Excellent property some minor things would be appreciated being in my mid 80s and wife who is blind and in her mid 70s hand rail on back wall of bath shower and shower mat would be very helpfull ,side gate needs repairing and garden needs tidying up otherwise everything in good condition we have rebooked for Sept 2026 we would recommend Roger &Janet Greatwood

Perfect location, Bungalow was like home from home, welcome package was appreciated. Comfortable, garden perfect and safe for our 2 dogs. Will stay again and recommend. Only thing it lacked was a lamp in living room for evening got around it by using bedroom one. Thanks for letting us stay.

On arrival the bungalow was lovely and clean, all beds were made and there were even a few treats for us! The property has all you need for a home from home stay. The only issues we found were the double bed wasn't overly comfybut that is our preference everyone's is different The garden could have been a little tidier, we cleaned the decking down as it was full of bird muck and had to wipe the rattan chairs also. The decking had started to be painted and never finished. As I said minor issues nothing major just giving feedback. The folder stated there was a disposable BBQ in the box in the garden but we could not find it so presuming it had not been replaced. The location is ideal, nice and quiet. Quick and easy access to the beach and shops and pubs nearby.

Yes my friend fell in the bath shower, didn't have a mat in the bath ,needed to get help rang 999 they were very good and quick as his head was pouring of blood. .then a paramedic to glue it.The Ambulance man found the bathmat in cupboard under the sink so it stayed in the bath till we left. Also it would have been nice to have a lock on the gate .Otherwise everything was fantastic. Cheers xx

Lovely comfortable cottage had everything we needed, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the dogs enjoyed it to.

This is our second stay and will certainly come back again. Its like home from home everything you need under one roof. Its so quiet and yet not far from seaside towns and other places of interest and only a 5 minute walk to the sea front. Many thanks Christine and Steve x

We really liked it , it was spot on for our needs . The bungalow is very smart and all the fittings are modern and in good order . The garden is perfect for dogs and people alike . More than enough room for 4 people . There were maybe bits I could comment on but only trivial stuff . I would not hesitate to stay there again thank you owners you have made a real effort for your guests .

We had a great stay Mariai Eton Road. The sofas have been upgraded since the photos there are now 2 2 seater leather recliners which are extremely comfortable. There are lots of thoughtful touches, as well little extras for our dog which was great. A real home away from home. A great location for the beach and local places to eat. We had a great stay and would highly recommend

Lovely property and well provided with garden furniture. Also a nice, unexpected touch was the provision of tea bags and fresh milk. Great location just a short walk through a caravan park to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to staying there again in the future. The bungalow is in a great place in Trusthorpe with the beach only minutes away.

What a beautiful bungalow in a quiet area only a 5 min walk to the beach a nice welcome basket of treats. A very comfortable very clean well kept place to stay a lovely enclosed rear garden could not fault anything will definitely return next year many thanks to the owner for creating such a good holiday home

We had a very enjoyable stay thanks for the welcome pack, which was much appreciated. Everything we needed was there. The beach was 5 minutes walk away, and Mablethorpe was less than 5 minutes in the car. The only problem we found in the cottage was with the back gate, which needs a new bolt. We have a Siberian Husky who likes to escape, so we had to buy an elastic strap for our peace of mind. Other than that everything was good. We just needed to have booked better weather, but this didnt spoil our break.

Very disappointed with the standard of cleanliness. Dust and hairs in lounge. Bathroom basin greasy and the tiles and pipework behind the toilet were disgraceful, no exaggeration. The kitchen needed most attention with the draining board, sink and worktop all in need of attention. Food stains in the fridge and the shelves, toaster had what looked to be teastains and the crumb tray looked like it hadn't been emptied since new. The waste bin appeared to have been used without a liner and spent a night in the garden with bleach and water. A truly shocking standard of cleaning. But once we'd cleaned the property to the standard it should have been on arrival except behind the toilet, we went on to have a good week. Adequate facilities, Smart TV was a bonus, lovely garden area and good location, hence our generous 2 star rating.

A lovely place to stay within a very short walk to the most amazing quiet sandy beach.

We were disappointed with the bungalow. The lounge and the double bedroom were lovely however the second bedroom and the bathroom were not. Unfortunately while we were away we had some very heavy rain which lasted some hours and when we looked into the second bedroom there was a lot of water on the sill and on the floor. On inspection this has obviously been a problem for some time as the sill was like paper. Thank goodness we had no one sleeping in the bedroom as this is a major concern. The bathroom was a disgrace and needed a total update. There was black mould, very stiff bath taps which had obviously been noted before in previous reviews. no rubber bath mat provided which was dangerous when climbing into the bath when using the shower, the toilet only flushed if you held the button down again reported in previous reviews and holes which had been filled in where obviously things had been on the walls. The whole bathroom was shabby. The cooker in the kitchen had a faulty oven door which meant you had to bang it to make it close. Finally the decking at the back was covered in bird droppings so thankfully with the weather not being brilliant we did not attempt to use it.

Had a quiet relaxing stay, lovely bungalow. Close to the beach. So quiet, sea at night and bird song in the morning. Thanks for letting us stay.

Excellent property, all the equipment we needed and having the secure rear garden was great for our dog. Being only a 5 minute walk from the beach was ideal. Nice quiet road off the main road meant tranquility in the evening. Small issue with bath taps as they are very stiff, as per the note above them.Would use this bungalow again.

A very clean and cozy bungalow with all you need under one roof. An enclosed garden which our dogs loved and the bungalow was only a few minutes from the beach for their daily walks. A lovely welcome pack was provided thank you very much. Our first visit to this lovely place but will definitely be back. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The bungalow was not cleaned cobwebs and dirty floors, the kitchen equipment was rusty or dirty, no stools for the breakfast bar, sofas very low to sit in, coldtap in bath not turning I could go on . It was a very disappointing choice as it is supposed to be a Sykes rating of 4ticks and at premium price in school hols The owner was advised and she was going to look into it but I heard nothing back as to the reason things were so bad

This was a very nice clean bungalow with lovely comfortable beds and certainly lived up to expectations. The only problem was that the settees were very low and this made it awkward for older people. It was on a lovely quiet road and a short ride to surrounding beaches. We had a lovely homely feel about the bungalow and would certainly recommend it to all.
