Meadowfields Reviews

I love this house. Its so comfortable and homely. I love the location and the trees are stunning in autumn.
Very much enjoyed the property and surroundings.
Everything is superb. Its such a beautiful place located in a beautiful setting. The only problem this time was there was no hot water in the upstairs bathroom.
Claire
Lovely place! Thank you!
Victoria
Meadowfields is beautiful and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Set in a wonderful rural location the house has everything you could ever need. There is plenty of space for everyone but still has a real homely feel. Communication with Christine, before, when we arrived and after our stay was helpful, efficient and very friendly. We all have a fantastic stay, and Bertie especially enjoyed running around the field below the house.
Beautiful, spacious cottage with all amenities in the heart of green countryside. A really comfortable stay to celebrate a belated 50th birthday with friends. Communication with Christine was very friendly and easeful in the run up. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay all round
Claire
The photos do not do this house justice, every year we book a family get together and we all agreed this house was one of the best. It has a lovely homely feeling. The beds are so comfy and the hot tub was ready when we arrived. We did a huge family meal and we were not short of pans and utensils. The area is great for walks, local pubs and a village close by.
We were very happy with Meadowfields. The house was spacious, big enough for our family of 10 people and facilities good. The countryside around it was beautiful.
Beautiful property in a beautiful location. The house was perfect for a weekend away with friends. There was so much space, loads of parking, the kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms were all of a good size. There was plenty of dining space and comfortable sofas and chairs. The hot tub was such a bonus and lovely to relax in st the end of the day. The property was in easy reach of amenities and local attractions. Just perfect!
We had a lovely stay at Meadowfeilds. It was the perfect size for our group of 9. There was plenty of space to be together but also plenty of space indoor and outdoors to find a quiet spot. Our particular highlights were the well equipped kitchen, confortable beds and the hot tub !! The views around the cottage and farm are spectacular.
We had a wonderful stay at Meadowfields. Christine and Peter are really responsive and super friendly. The information provided before you arrive is really interesting and useful and helped guide us on our days out. The home is spacious and comfortable, the outside area is lovely, the hot tub was a hit with the people and the large field at the back of the property was a huge hit with the dog!! Its remote, only the sheep and cows as neighbours but close enough to the village shop and some lovely pubs. Thank you!!
Trevor
Love this place, we have stayed twice now, clean, welcoming, comfortable, owners very accommodating.
Rachel
Lovely accommodation, couldnt fault it. The owners had thought of everything with lovely little touches. It is a great location, so peaceful but close to shops etc if needed. Would highly recommend.
I love this house. Very homely. Lovely energy. Beautiful location. Very peaceful. Just what was needed.
We had a fantastic stay 6 adults plus 2 dogs , everything you would want plus more . The beds were really comfortable , which is so important to all of us . The hot tub that we used most days was so clean and very relaxing . The views from the garden are lovely , and big enough for the dogs to have a lovely time running about . The house was very clean , when we arrived and appreciated the welcome pack especially the Prosecco and biscuits .

Lovely place to stay with a large group 9 people & 2 dogs. Quiet and relaxing and not too far away from towns etc. I imagine it would be beautiful when the weather is better. We would visit again in the future for family gatherings. The house is spacious, yet cosy and clean and the gardens are wellkept.
Caroline
Beautiful farmhouse in a great rural location. We loved Meadowfields, it has been renovated and furnished to a really high standard, its cosy but large, clean and really well kitted out with plenty of nice towels, great quality bedding and lots of kitchen equipment. The location has that lovely rural feeling but its close to several towns and a village with a shop. We were unlucky with the rain, but if not the walking potential from the doorstep would be great. Its also very dog friendly with an enclosed gardenfield and lots of dog bits and bobs such as leads, bags, dog bowl etc left so thoughtfully by the owners. Peter and Christine were so responsive and kind to us, Peter even popped over with a firelighter when we stupidly could not find it in the house it was there all along as it turned out. Highly recommend this cottage , we will be back for sure.
Amazing one of the best cottages we have stayed.
We had a lovely stay at Meadowfields and we're already hoping to come back! It was clean and cosy, and had everything we needed for the weekend stay!
Alyson
A fabulous setting for our annual family Christmas get together. The cottage had everything we could wish for the log burner and the Hot tub were definitely big hits . Plenty of space to accommodate our age range from 8 months to 60 years and the kitchen had everything we needed to whip up meals for 13. Oh...and don't forget the beds super comfy!
We really enjoyed our break at the property. It was ideal and perfect for a family break with young children. The hot tub was the highlight of the trip and the extra towels for the hot tub was appreciated. The house was clean and everything provided was of good quality. The owner was also quick to respond and repair anything needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would 100 recommend to anyone thinking of booking.
We had a great holiday and Meadowfields was a lovely place to stay. We are already looking into booking again for next year and have recommended the property to friends already
Sharon

We stayed at Meadowfields as a 4 generation family and we would 100 recommend it. It is set in the middle of the countryside, not far from the Wyre Forest. It is the perfect place to sit on the patio and relax. The house is very well equipped, and the hot tub is a lovely addition. The quality of the beds and bedding was impressive, some great nights sleep was had! Thank you for sharing your lovely house.
Meadowfields is a delightful property set in a beautiful setting. Photos don't do the Cottage justice. From the moment you enter through the front door and enter outside, you won't be disserpointed. Very spacious, comfortable and well furnished. Location for local walks and attractions is perfect. Hosts are charming and welcoming.
Christine
A lovely property in a beautiful location. All facilities were excellent and perfect for a large 3 generational family. Highly recommended!
We loved our stay in this holiday cottage. Plenty of room for the 7 of us and our dogs. Super large fieldgarden and very peaceful location. Ideally situated within easy reach of all sorts of attractions and lots of walks. Kitchen well equipped with all you need for a self catering holiday. Two seating areas, each with their own TV is very handy and large 10 seater dining table. Bedrooms all with good size beds and plenty of storage. Hot tub very relaxing. All in all, highly recommended and would love to return.
Andrew
We had a wonderful weekend at Meadowfields. It was perfect for our family of 8 adults, 2 children 3&5yrs and 2 large dogs. The house was very clean and wellmaintained. It had everything we needed, including a wellstocked kitchen even had child platesmugs which allowed us to cook several large family meals, eaten at the dining table in a comfortable lounge area. The grounds were wellmaintained and with good weather we were able to site outside most of the day, some of us in the hottub and dogs in the enclosed field at the rear. We could not have asked for anywhere better.
Such a beautiful house. Everything you need and so peaceful. Just what was needed. A lovely stay.
Absolutely gorgeous house with fantastic facilities for a large group of friendsfamily. Large hot tub comfortably seating 6 people but 8 can definitely be squeezed!. Gas BBQ and garden furniture. Large fields great for dogs and games of rounders! The beds were SO comfortable with curtains that really blocked sunlight in the morning. We had bread, biscuits, milk, coffeehot choc pods waiting for us on arrival along with sparkling elderflower which was a lovely touch. The hosts were lovely and very responsive one query about the hot tub and Peter was over in a flash to help! Would definitely recommend staying at Meadowfields!
Anne-marie
Loved Meadowfields, will certainly be back for a visit. It just had everything you could need as well as beautiful surroundings. Lovely decor with the best, biggest comfy beds and lovely bedding. So generous with the treats left for us and everything for the dog too. I was over the moon they loved dogs as much as me. To be able to use the field for the dog at the back is amazing! She was made up running round in there. The hot tub was gorgeous too. One of the best holiday homes Ive been too.
Charlotte
Beautiful property, perfect for our group! Loved the hot tub and every detail had been thought of from plenty of towels to outdoor glasses. The owners were really helpful too! I would highly recommend Meadowfields.
We had a fabulous week in this absolutely beautiful holiday home for our annual family gathering! Everything was perfect! Spacious light rooms, top quality furnishings, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. The outdoor space was wonderful, peaceful and well used including the hot tub as we were blessed with wonderful weather. Couldnt have asked more from the owners Christine and Peter who helped us throughout our stay thank you! We hope to return!
The house was absolutely fabulous everything you needed . Couldnt fault it anyway . Everyone had such a wonderful. So peaceful and relaxing. Hot tub was amazing.
Lucille
We had a fabulous time at Meadowfields as a family. Everything as described, very well equipped, clean & comfortable, clear concise information provided regarding house & local area. A truly remarkable place to chill out & relax We will be back!!
Suzanne
We were in such a hurry on Sunday morning that we didn't get to write our thank you in the guest book. BUT we all thoroughly enjoyed the indoors, outdoors, hot tub, big dining tables and well resourced kitchen. Not a single complaint just praise and a hope that we can come back again sometime.
This was generally a nice place. Unfortunately my mother is allergic to dogs and she wasn't notified that there were dogs in this property prior to our stay, there were still dog hairs under the sofa and whilst I understand that this is a dog friendly environment I wish we were notified so we could have taken prior precautions. For this I only decreased the rating from a perfect 10 to a 9. The hottub was really nice and one of of the days we had an adventure through a couple of the paths and ended up on a neighbouring farm. On the first night the hot tub wasn't the hottest but it got warmer throughout the weekend. Thanks for a fab weekend we all did have a blast and we would 100 recommend it to others
We all enjoyed our stay at Meadowfields. All facilities good, dog friendly, kitchen well equipped, hot tub great, beds very comfy. Very peaceful, walked to Cleobury Mortimer via Bayton, roads very quiet. Thank you Peter & Christine.
