This holiday home is probably the best I've stayed in. Everything you need is there. The rooms are comfortable, bright and clean. The views are beautiful. I really could have stayed longer than a week. Staff in reception were very nice and helpful. Just one thing, we struggled with cookerhob only because not up on these new appliances, could do with basic instruction for the thick

This property is a gem. Spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, high spec equipment and facilities and the perfect escape. All of the rooms are spacious with ample storage for your stay. Even though the weather was not favourable we were so comfortable in the house it didnt really matter and we still managed to get out and about between the rain. The views over the sea are stunning and the beach which is just a couple of minutes walk is great for a walk with the dog. We loved it so much we booked again for next year while we were still there!

MelinYPlas is a beautiful house, spotlessly clean, bright and airy, comfortable with a stunning view across the sea. A few minutes walk to the sandy beach. The house is spacious, with luxurious furniture, comfortable beds and a very well equipped kitchen, with everything you need. We loved the most generous welcome pack, thank you! The sunsets are spectacular from the lounge, dining kitchen and all bedrooms. Plenty of room to park and very secure. Everyone connected with the house were very pleasant and helpful. We hope to return soon!

The property is in a stunning location with expansive sea views. Everything was spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming. Our stay was at Christmas and the house was decorated, with extra touches such as crackers even one for the dog a turkey roasting tin, and a full hamper. The garden is secure so very dog friendly too. We'll be booking again.

We have visited this house for over 10 years. It is a beautiful house and in a really lovely location. The views are fantastic. Access to the beach is great and easy to reach.

We absolutely loved our stay! The cleanliness of the place was immaculate! The views of the sea were perfect! The walk to the beach is 5 mins down the path and is dog friendly. The shop is only open till 1pm and for takeaway. It was out of season, so understandable for the site. Barmouth is a 5 minute drive away and has everything you need. We loved it that much, we have booked for next year.

We have just come back home from a week at Melin Y Plas. What a lovely week we had and we were so impressed by the standard of the house. It was beautifully maintained and extremely well equipped. Lovely clean kitchen and bathrooms, i can definitely recommend the property. Its a great location to explore Snowdonia, and North Wales in general. Its also right on the beach which is a real bonus if you enjoy long walks at low tide, as we do. I literally have nothing negative to say at all. Thank you so much.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully maintained house. It was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The panoramic views were spectacular, and watching the sunset every night was an absolute joy. We couldn't have asked for more. There was a minor issue with the EV charger, but it was quickly sorted out. The house is just a short walk from the beach, which was perfect for our dog's morning walks, and it's also close enough to walk to Barmouth. I highly recommend this place!

The cleaners need congratulating, amazingly clean and sparkling. I Hope they get a pay rise, because they deserve it. I've never stayed somewhere so clean, except my own house.

Amazing!! A wonderful house spacious, well decorated, great facilities, bike storage, electric car charger and plenty of parking . But thats just for starters nothing can beat the panoramic sea view from all rooms and the fantastic patio. Just a moment from the beach for sunbathing and paddling. Barmouth is a great base for walking, cycling and sight seeing and this house a great place to relax afterwards.

Excellent property finished to a high standard. Slight niggles were as newly furnished lack of extra cutlery, cups etc when dishwasher in use but sufficient. No extra loo rolls just one in each facility. Unusual that there was no welcome pack. Would return again. Hope comments are addressed and found useful.

An absolutely wonderful property in a lovely position. Every bit of equipment necessary. Beautifully clean, comfortable and spacious. Amazing sunrises and sunsets. Possibly the best we've ever stayed in. Absolute certainty we'll be back.

This is a beautiful property, well maintained and equipped and very comfortable. It is tastefully decorated in a good location with great views of the sea. It was nicely decorated for Christmas also. There was a very generous welcome pack including a treat for the dog. The overall facilities were excellent also for the dog. Local management were very responsive when we had an issue with the EV charger. That appears to be a basic problem with this in that it tended to cut out whenever another major appliance such as oven or tumble dryer were in use. In fairness we were offered use of an alternative charger at the nearby camping site in case of need. The internet signal is somewhat erratic leading to a lot of buffering on the TV streaming services, although this would probably be less of an issue for summer visitors. Although not an issue as far as we were concerned, the property description indicates that there is a downstairs bedroom but this is not the case although the third bathroom is downstairs. Not withstanding those two issues we would happily return in the future. When these two issues are resolved it would be an outstanding fivestar property
