Muriau Park, Caernarfon

The owner was amazing. Nothing was to much to ask, she was considerate. Caring. And easy to talk to! She made our holiday by how nice and comfortable she made things. Huge house! Great hot tub! Clean large rooms! And a great location right in the middle of 2 towns! Highly recommend.

We had a brilliant stay with huge group of friends preChristmas. The house suited us perfectly with its cosy lounge room, big dining room for us all to sit down together and comfortable bedrooms each had its own bathroom! Though not all ensuite, very convenient. The cheery owner popped in to make sure all was well once we settled in. The house was decorated for Christmas with TWO Christmas trees and an abundance of decorations. We loved it and will be booking again. Easy location to find and lots of parking. Perfect! Thank you so much !

We had a wonderful stay over New Year. Its a beautiful property in a wonderful location. Property is surrounded by stunning Mountain views and plenty of walking routes around. The place was cosy and is very close to local shops. Overall it was a fantastic stay. Menna is always just a message away to sort any issues out. It was nice meeting her. Thank you Menna for all the help during our stay.

Muriau Park was perfect for our family get together. Plenty of room for 12 of us in the dining room and lounge. Menna was a brilliant host, kept in contact and made us feel welcome. We were kindly supplied cots and high chairs for 2 babies and the hot tub was definitely a bonus! Would definitely recommend

We had a great time staying here. Menna made us feel welcomed. The property was just as advertised and as a group we felt right at home. We did enjoy using the hot tub, made the difference especially after a day of activities. The location of the property was perfect with shops like Tesco, Asda and Morrisons only a few minutes drive away. It is quite close to lots of lovely walks, including Snowdon. I know as a group we definitely recommend the property, if we are ever in the area again we won't hesitate in booking here. Thank you once again Menna!

Great property facilities and location Ideal for our big family

Had a very comfortable week at Muriau. Great accomodation for an extended family of 11 from four different households. Kitchen and dining areas were just right and the lounge and furniture there were roomy and comfortable. The hot tub was appreciated by the younger family members! It was an easy drive to all the places we wanted to visit. I would book this accomodation again.

The property was excellent and Menna could not have been more helpful during our stay. Great location to explore Snowdonia for a weekend whilst also enjoying Caernarfon on the evening.

The owner Menna was very welcoming and showed us around. The house is very well equipped and had everything we needed 9 of us. The hot tub was amazing. The views and the garden is lovely. I would certainly stay at this property again. Ideally placed for the North Wales coast, Snowdonia and Anglesey.

We had a lovely second stay at Muriau Park. Mena the host is wonderful and very accommodating. The house is really spacious and has a great south facing outdoor space which was lovely as we had great weather. Gin & Tonic and Rex Mena's cats and dog hanging around were a lovely addition to our trip! Thoroughly recommend.

We had a lovely holiday at Muriau Park. The house and grounds were great for all the family and the 2 dogs. The house was spacious and it was only a 15 minute walk down to Caernarfon. Plenty of walks for the family and dogs and easy reach by car to beaches and other tourist spots. House was easy to find off the new bypass. Menna was a lovely host and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Muriau Park was stunning. ..best one to date & we have been to many! Beautifully decorated & also festively....amazingly so! Everything we could have wanted. Even the dining table was perfectly laid for Christmas day...artificial candles, table centre pieces, plus napkins & crackers! A huge hamper full of wonderful goodies awaited us, plus Christmas Eve box, a bowl full of chocolates, candy canes on one of the trees..milk in the fridge, etc etc. The house, despite being so huge was always warm & cosy. And as for the property owner Menna!!...we all adored her from arrival! So happy, welcoming, nothing whatsoever too much trouble for her!! We all left feeling as though we'd know her forever...a truly lovely lady! So yes, our best Sykes holiday EVER!!...thank you.

Absolutely loved our 2 week Birthday holiday at Muriau park guest house. The house is absolutely beautiful and the location is perfect. Menna is a lovely lady and nothing is to much trouble for her.

Another fabulous week at muriau park. very welcoming with more than adequate spacious facilities for 12 people and a dog. the hot tub was well used by all and the added facility of a barbecue extending the very functional kitchen. situated with means to explore many towns and beaches in north wales. an excellent well run property with a charming host. thank you menna.

Just got back from staying at this wonderful accommodation. The house was lovely and had everything we needed, it was big enough that you had room to chill when you needed time to yourself. It was in a great location for everything. The owner was a lovely lady and on hand if we needed anything. Thank you.

This property was perfect for our large family. Loved that each bedroom had a bathroom. The beds were so clean n comfortable all the rooms were lovely. It was a bonus that there was a hot tub, which was well used by all. The Kids enjoyed the outdoor space, for football n other ball games. The owner Menna was always available if needed, and made us feel very welcome. She was so friendly and knowledgable about the area, she can answer any questions you have. I would highly recommend using this property if you have a group of 12 people.

Muriau park was perfect for our family of 10 and a dog. Theres lots of space inside and out. Comfortably furnished with a well equipped kitchen. Location is ideal for exploring the North Wales coastline castles and Snowdonia. Friendly and helpful host made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.

Menna was an excellent host for whom nothing was too much trouble. The house was perfect for our large group including a German Shepherd! and everything was as stated in the description. The only minor point was that the bathroom on the second floor started to develop some mould during our stay but this did not detract from how lovely the property was. We especially enjoyed the hot tub after a long days walk! In conclusion, we would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Had a wonderful family holiday large accommodation for all families together. We, as grandparents slept in room 1 a quiet room away from the children's rooms. Good use of hot tub in evenings. Good local chip shop lots of places to visit from this base. Really pleased we had room to park all our cars.

The family really enjoyed their stay at Muriau Park , my father in law celebrated his 90th birthday whilst there and it was a complete surprise to him that all the family could come together in such a way, finding accommodation for 12 people and a dog was challenging but Sykes cottages managed to come out trumps. Many thanks to Meena, the owner, for a really pleasant stay.

Everything about the house was wonderful we had a fantastic time. Location, facilities and comfort were brilliant and the support we received when we had one or two queries was excellent.

Stayed here with a group of ladies. Lots of utensils and glasses etc. very clean and the beds were so comfy with lovely bedding. Hot tub was great. Location 10 mins walk to centre or bus stop outside. Would stay here again and have forwarded details to all the ladies for them to book with other friends

The house is absolutely beautiful! The finishing touches and Christmas decorations were a beautiful and wonderful surprise! The owner went to great effort to make our stay comfortable and extremely pleasant!

Had a great week. Very spacious and well equipped property. Owner, meena, greeted us and showed us round. Very thoughtful welcome pack on arrival. Plenty of car parking. Great location near to Caenarfon, easy to get to angelsey and other tourist attractions.

Fantastic property for large parties. Combinations of rooms would work for many. Extremely well equipped kitchen. More than ample room for dining. Everyone can sit down together. Lounge has plenty of seating with extra in the dining area. The outside space is very generous. Although the large front garden isn't enclosed the kitchen leads onto an enclosed area with private hot tub, garden furniture n washing line. Owner attentive but not intrusive. We were a large family party of 4 generations and the property provided all we needed. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful holiday, Mena was so friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was first class and the location was ideal for travelling to the beauty spots in the area. I would recommend this to anyone.
