Lovely cottage. Everything one could want.Fantastic bed. But would have liked hooks on bathroom door and bedroom door. Perhaps a small step stool in kitchen to reach very high shelves in kitchen. Maureen, most helpful. Hot tub wonderful when we finally able to use it on last night due to ill health.

We had a wonderful time at Omalast Cottage. The owner Maureen was fabulous and even saw birthday cards on the windowsill during our stay so she bought over some lovely goodies to help us celebrate. The Cottage was extremely comfortable and clean. Our dog was a bit overwhelmed with the private outdoor spacegarden she had but soon found her feet. Well... Where do I start.....Omalast Cottage was incredible, and beautiful spotless holiday let. The little things that the owners provide was amazing. We absolutely loved staying and didn't want to go home. Maureen and John the owners couldn't do enough for you, simply brilliant.

A lovely cottage in a lovely area. Maureen was warm and welcoming. We had everything we needed. The bed would benefit from a new mattress. This is the only negative I can find. They thought of everything. I would highly recommend this cottage.

We loved this property for its privacy, cleanliness, and home from home feel. There is nothing missing and plenty of things available to use. The hot tub is a joy. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a cosy getaway with a romantic feel.

Helpful holidays should be called Unhelpful Holiday as the communication is disgraceful. I had a query and on ever occasion held on for 30 minutes on the phone with no reply. The recorded message said leave a message and we will get back to you with 48 hours. I eventually left a text message which took some 5 days before they replied. Once in contact the owners of the cottage they were most helpful and couldnt be faulted. The property and the owners were first class as was the cottage. I would most definitely recommend the cottage but not helpful holidays.

Had another amazing 2 week stay at Nantrisack where we stayed in the Omalast cottage. Maureen and John are the most fantastic hosts. They think of absolutely everything when it comes to a luxury stay. The setting is perfect for a relaxing holiday but also in a great location to visit other parts of Cornwall easily. With all the outdoor space, our dog had the best holiday and felt right at home. Would highly recommend a holiday at Nantrisack. Thank you again Maureen and John and see you next year

We stayed at this cottage at the end of July 2024, and it was absolutely amazing! The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for a perfect holiday. The secure garden mentioned in previous reviews was exactly as described. Our dog had a fantastic time running around the large garden without any chance of escaping. We could even toss the ball from the hot tub, and the only one who got tired was the dog There was plenty of space for two people, and we loved the peaceful surroundings. Every day, we enjoyed sipping coffee on the deck in front of the property, soaking in the tranquility. This cottage is definitely going on our list of favorites for future stays. David

Both me and my husband loved our stay at Omalast cottage, really comfortable and a great location Very clean and fully equipped with everything you need, it was like being at home, great views of the lovely countryside. The hosts are extremely informative. We did take our pet dog with us and lots provided for her stay, great choice for the holiday in Cornwall.

Absolutely beautiful cottage. Best we have stayed in ever. Beautifully clean no smells of dogs what so ever. Brought both of our dogs who loved the massive enclosed garden. Loved the extras from the bath bombs to the little things like razors, toothbrushes, shaving gel, face wipes, soap,bubble bath, etc etc etc. all the things you might have forgotten. Bed lovely and comfortable. Lots of throws so your dogs can get on the sofas like they always do even though we always take our own. Could not have asked for more. Yes it is more expensive than others but you get what you pay for and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

This was a really lovely place to stay. Maureen couldnt have been kinder or more welcoming. The only things that werent absolutely perfect were the area round the hot tub, which needed jet washing, and the abundance of doggie toys, throws on the furniture and dog bowls etc which I felt could have been removed when dogs werent coming. But all in all a wonderful place to stay.

As always with Nantrisack cottages this is fantastic propertyand a wonderful hot tub. Everything was superb. Huge self contained garden which our King Charles cavalier absolutely loved. Third time we have stayed here. Highly recommended

We had the most incredible week at Omalast and were sad to leave after such a relaxing and comfortable stay. Our dog enjoyed the freedom of the extensive garden and we could relax knowing that he couldn't escape! Being a short drive from almost everywhere in Cornwall was priceless. We ventured out each morning and then enjoyed the afternoons back at Omalast relaxing in the hot tub and watching the fox in the field in the distance, listening to all the birds and watching the rabbits enjoy the garden too. We enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked again for next summer! Thank you Maureen for making our stay so enjoyable, can't wait to return!

Have just returned from a wonderful week's holiday,Omalast was superb the owners have thought of everything, on arrival we were greeted by Maureen who then showed us to our cottage which I can say we have used many holiday lets but Omalast truly stood out such high spec,Maureen was so welcoming to us and Harry our dog who was greeted with cuddles and treats Maureen won his heart straight away. Had the most amazing sleep in the most comfy bed.If you want to go relax and have your own garden secure for your furry friend look no further,as your dog will be treated as special as you are.Cannot wait to return.

Great property in a lovely rural setting but only a couple of miles from shops and take aways. The cottage was meticulously clean and every conceivable item you would need during a holiday were supplied. We had our small terrier with us and the large secure garden was perfect for her to roam safely around in. The hot tub was fab which we used practically every day, even in the rain ! The appliances and 2 tvs made the cottage a home from home in the evenings. John and Maureen the owners keep the lawns and properties all in tip top condition with ample parking behind secure gates on the property. Best holiday let we have used to date, definitely recommend to any couple with or without pooches.

Wonderful stay at Omalast cottage. Lovely quiet location, beautifully maintained cottage and a large enclosed garden which was perfect for our dog. The hot tub was a lovely addition. It was booked for a birthday and we were greeted with some goodies for ourselves and our dog. Cant fault it.

What a fab cottage this is! Everything and I mean everything! Has been thought about and provided. Maureen is the perfect host and has made the cottage feel so homely. We loved the big fenced garden which was perfect for our dog to run around safely. We also loved the shared fields with even more open space for him. The hot tub was the hilight and perfect for relaxing in during the evening. The location was excellent for exploring both the north and south coasts as it wasn't far from either. We had the BEST time thank you Maureen and John!

Everything you needed was supplied very well thought out

Our second visit to Nantrisack cottages, and we don't usually revisit holiday homes. Maureen is a great host making sure your happy and the most important visitor is relaxed and settled with doggy treats. Omalast had everything we expected, spotlessly clean, a comfortable spacious home from home with lots of thought put into the detail. A great base for exploring both coastlines and near to Truro. Each of the six properties is themed different which makes it a unique experience each time. Dogs are welcomed and have goodie bags, bowls and toys. Already planning third visit.

We had a fabulous time away. The property was so lovely and clean, it smelt gorgeous you would not think that they accommodated for dogs. The dogs loved it and were so safe in the huge enclosed garden. Views amazing and the hot tub was so nice to relax in. Not hydrotherapy but nice enough. The only additional option would be to have a barbq. Thank you so much for making our holiday so wonderful, we would love to come back again, this property is very popular and if you want it you need to book well in advance.

We absolutely loved the place, we were made to feel very welcome, even our dog had a great time ! ! Maureen has thought of everything, just in case you forget to pack your toothbrush... so no worries there. Hot tub was a good temperature, good sized T.vs and very comfortable soffas.... only drawback and complaint was that the mattresses were past there best, and both of us being tall did have back discomfort...an upgrade would score you a perfect 10, Thankyou.

Another fantastic holiday in Omalsast cottage Cornwall, we visited previously but in one of the other cottages. The hosts Maureen and John made us feel very welcome and went above and beyond in everything, it was a home from home experience, lots of extras to make your stay just perfect. This is a very much dog friendly holiday also our fur babies were made to feel as welcome as we were and the enclosed garden around the cottage was ideally suited to dogs, they could explore their grounds while at the same time were kept safe and of no bother to anyone else. We will definitely be returning again.

Well what an amazing place to stay at. We arrived with our puppy and absolutely everything had been thought of for us and himbowls, toys, treats etc. Prosecco was cooling in the fridge and cream tea waiting for our arrival. The huge garden was secure for our dog, so we were able to let him wander around knowing he couldnt escape. Maureen the owner was always on hand and was so warm and welcoming. If you ever feel like youve forgotten to bring something, I would be surprised if it wasnt already provided. Each room was fully equipped. The cottage was a perfect base to visit various places. As the cottages were all spaced out you definitely felt like you had your own privacy. Would highly recommend.

The owners were amazing, nothing was too much trouble can't wait to visit again. The cottage was exceptional, we took everything we thought we would need but there really was no need to do this as Maureen provided everything you could want or need to enjoy enhance your stay as well as local knowledge for places to visit. The cottage is tucked away in a very well looked after area and us such a beautiful place it's so secluded to provide that peace quite and tranquility that we all need at times.

Maureen was really obliging to make sure our holiday went really, nothing was too much trouble and she generally wanted to make our holiday as comfortable and relaxing as possible . we thoroughly recommend a stay at these cottages, perfect location for visiting coves and different areas. cottages set in lovely tranquil setting.
