What a fabulous little break and lovely accommodation. I visited to stay here for 3 nights with my dog and the surroundings and location were perfect. The beach is a 7 minute drive away which was great. The lodge was exceptionally clean and had everything provided on arrival including cleaning products and extra kitchen items foil, towels, cloth's. The outside area was great as the garden is large and fully enclosed meaning I could relax in the hot tub without worrying about my dog. The bed was comfortable, all TV's are smart TV's and the internet worked great for such a secluded area. The overall experience here was excellent and even when I had a minor problem, after a short phone call, someone was at the property to assist me,within a mere 2 minutes. Glad I found this little gem, I will definitely be back

A really well turned out conversion of a former barn. Very comfortable with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Plus the hot tub! Dont be put off that it seems out of the wayits very quiet, and local attractions and amenities are within easy reach. Highly recommended.

On arrival the accommodation was exactly how it was described. Spotlessly clean! Only slight negative was the sofa & bed were very low but that was just personal opinion! Location was as described. Very peaceful. Had an issue with the TV, phoned the owner in the morning & by the evening the TV had been replaced. Very prompt & reactive! Would definitely stay there again!

Accommodation was excellent and really suited our needs. Peaceful and isolated so our dogs barking did not disturb anyone. The views were also excellent and the Hot Tub was very much used. The only thing we have to mention was that the oven was less than what we would expect for cleanliness. We also found a perfect beach at Hunmanby Gap, where we could park. Parking at Filey which would have been nice to visit was pretty nonexistent. But the Tesco store there suited our needs. All in all, we would highly recommend this property and probably one of the best we have been in.

Just got back from a fabulous week at Owl View. We have a reactive fox terrier rescue and this accommodation is just perfect! The accommodation is very comfortable and has all you need to enjoy a week in the Yorkshire countryside. Close to all amenities with both Scarborough and Filey really close by. We will definitely be returning!

Our stay at Owl Cottage was absolutely lovely . Accommodation was top class and everything was maintained to a high spec , to even lovely ornaments and pottery . Hot tub was a bonus after long walks . Arrival package was a nice touch and I would definitely recommend this cottage. Owners very responsive and helpful for any queries or advice .

Beautiful holiday cottage, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Two lovely outside areas totally secure and enclosed which are perfect for dogs. Very peaceful but just a short drive from Filey and Scarborough for anything you need. Owners are nearby and quick to react if you need them at all, lovely bottle of Prosecco on arrival as well as milk in the fridge. Would highly recommend this cottage.

We loved Owl View, it had everything we needed for a lovely break but also not far from some great beautiful East coast favourites. Lovely and private and hot tub is a nice bonus! The owners have provided everything and we will definitely be revisiting..

Wanted to book a stay here for ages and so glad we did. Totally understand why its always booked up. This is a fabulous place, on its own yet not far from shops, beaches and places of interest. Enclosed courtyard and garden great for pooch, nice sun loungers and chairs provided to sit and enjoy the bit of sun we eventually had.Our pooch is a bit anxious and Owl View was perfect for him as it really is on its own, enclosed and with only the occasional passing farm traffic. Terri and Martin have thought of everything to make for a comfortable stay and they are great hosts.Easy to get a Tesco grocery delivery if you want but only 10 mins drive to Filey. Ticked all the boxes for us. Would love to return!

WHAT A BRILLIANT FIND. The property deserves at least 10 stars. So very lovely and comfortable, short of absolutely nothing. Perfect for our dogs, plenty of free space for them. The area is so secluded, private, and peaceful. Martin and Terri were the perfect hosts, so helpful and friendly, and not intrusive in the least. We visited their baby highland cows, but unfortunately didnt see any owls or deers this time. Will defo return in the future and will be recommending to all our friends and family. Sorry to hear bout the duck eggs Terri !!!!!

Fabulous accommodation, clean and extremely comfortable. The garden to the back and the courtyard to the front was secure for our two dogs and the hot tub and sun loungers were a bonus for us! Owl View is so peaceful yet close enough to plenty amenities with a 10 min drive. The owner Martin popped down to meet us really nice guy just to let us know he was there if we needed anything. Loved our stay so much will be booking again.

Absolutely loved our 4 nights stay at Owl View. The cottage was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was lovely to come back to after our days out exploring. Everything you could possibly need want was at hand. A lovely bottle of fizz and a bottle of milk was a lovely welcome gift too! We met the owner Martin who popped in to make sure everything was ok. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend!

Wonderful cottage in perfect location for a chilled out and relaxing break. Cottage was of a very high standard with all the amenities you could need and the hot tub was the perfect way to end the day watching the sun go down, bliss! Highly recommend this cottage and especially to dog owners due to the perfectly enclosed garden and courtyard.

Lovely clean house away from all the hustle and bustle but close enough to civilisation to keep yourself amused and stocked up with food and drink. Great hot tub, great decor, all the mid cons and the warmest house I've ever been in. Martin is a very friendly owner and the milk and bubbly on arrival are nice touches. Dog friendly too. Filey dog fields were a godsend. Couldn't recommend enough.

Excellent comfortable stay. Lovely to be warm and have everything to hand. Our 2 dogs loved the new smells and access to yard and garden. Owner very helpful with any requests. Only one extra id suggest....A none slip bath and shower mat would be great. Towels, beds, bedding all great. Very well designed property and lovely arrival gift of prosecco, milk, coffee, sugar. Fab Tvs and Internet worked well. Hot tub is amazing, so warm and wonderful this time of year when the air is cold. Oven, microwave, washer, dishwasher all Excellent. We were happy to stay in relaxing. Area is fab as isolated cottage.....without being isolated. So close to Filey, scarborough, cayton, shops etc. Thanks for the wonderful stay. We will definitely use again.

We have stayed before and the accommodation is immaculate. However the reason for 3 and not 4 stars is that on Thursday afternoon th e owner came round to see if our stay had been good and advise they were draining the hot tub at 8.30am the following morning to allow time to get it ready for the next booking! When we went to use the hot tub on Thursday evening the temperature had been reduced and it was too cold for us to use I assume in preparation for the drainingWe then could not use the garden in the morning until after 9.15 when the draining was completed as someone was out there carrying out the drainage. We had to leave at 10am. We didnt have use of all the facilities for our holiday period and this was disappointing especially as we couldnt use the hot tub on Thursday. We absolutely love this accommodation and May rebook. It just felt that we should have had full use until the 10am we had paid for.

Absolutely lovely property, very warm and beautiful in a nice setting. Had a few issues with the WiFi which Martin the owner sorted out very quickly. We were provided with milk in the fridge and wine which was a lovely touch.

Had a fabulous stay and everything was perfect. The cottage was clean, comfortable and maintained to a high standard. The location was excellent for all the local attractions. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

We were a family of 4 and three dogs. Owl View met all our needs and the enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs. The property contained everything we needed, although secluded which suited us perfectly all amenities were close by. Great area to explore countryside and coast.

What an asolute wonderful place to stay. Nicely secluded. Close by to costal areas. Fully equipped property and just immaculately clean. Great walks with the dogs. I could not recommend this place highly enough and so pleased we managed to get in. I can fully understand why this place gets so booked up. Well maintained and an added bonus withe views and hot tub. Anyone staying here would not be disappointed.

Terri and Martin are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them pictures do not do this bungalow justice courtyard and garden are sun traps and the dogs loved it too so secure bungalow had everything you would need for a great break stress free easy to get filey. Scarbrough.flambrough.cayton bay and Bridlington even went to Whitby can not wait to book again for next year Thank You so much for a great holiday

Our second visit to Owl View, with our 3 dogs. The cottage is fantastic, but a king size bed would make it even better. Cayton Bay beach is lovely for a morning walk. We visited Filey, Bridlington and Whitby. The hot tub was well used even though the weather wasnt that kind. We would recommend trying the fish and chip shop in Cayton, excellent. The owners are very approachable and available if required. The bottle of Prosecco was a very nice welcome gift.

Owl view was an amazing beautiful barn conversion. We had everything we needed. The accommodation was lovely and private but only 5 mins away from the sea so best of both worlds. We will definitely book again

This was our 2nd visit to owl view and once again it did not disappoint on anything except perhaps that we still didn't see the owl but that's nobody s fault was just as we remembered it from last time with a couple of extras we noticed which were the two lounger chairs in the back garden and a large potted plant in the lounge area.

I think I found my heaven . Owl view was everything I was looking for and more . Surrounded by fields for a quiet and peaceful relaxing holiday but only ten minutes away from the seaside town of Filey. Every dog friendly no escape for Henry my German shepherd. Courtyard to the front and grassed area to the back all walled and fenced off. Perfect .I will definitely be booking again for next year .

PERFECT! Hosts were wonderful, nothing was a trouble, very helpful and accomodating. Standard of accomodation was just the best. Spotless, comfortable and well equipped. Everything we needed well equipped, well maintained and very clean. We had no issues with the hot tub at all, which is such a bonus because its such a let down having to contact owners to have temperature adjusted etc when you just want to relax and enjoy. No such problems here! Very friendly and helpful owners on hand if needed. Cant fault this little property at all.
