Seahaze Reviews

So, too many things to list here but the property needs a proper clean everywhere, some of it filthy and needs some repairs and maintenance updating. Sykes lists this as 5 star and it's no way 5 star. Also heating doesn't work which wasn't a problem for us as it was summer, but bear in mind you will need to contact someone if you stay here to get it working. Pros The location and view is great and the deck outside is really nice. Wifi fast.
On arrival the key code didn't work because we'd been given the wrong number. Fortunately a neighbour to the property was around and rang the owner, then lending us her spare key. We'd travelled for many hours and especially with young children in our party would have bin a pickle had this neighbour not noticed us. We walked through the door and the first loo you meet had not been flushed let alone cleaned. The hot water was not on. The patio was full of dead leaves... Etc etc. It's an amazing house, we loved it but at nearly 2000 for a week these things seemed unreasonable. The TV had a cracked screen for which we were charged! It was on a strange arm thing, rather than being attached to the wall, so who knows what happened to it. So, it's great, but had all these annoying things for a huge premium price.

This is a house with spectacularly great view! On several levels, my grandson counted 8 if you include the garden. Comfortable, nicely decorated and warm with comfy beds and a well appointed kitchen. It isnt suitable for someone with mobility problems there are a lot of steps! Also we would have appreciated some guidance on recycling we didnt know that we could access the garage so we didnt discover the boxes in the garage till the day we left ! But we very much enjoyed our stay ..

We thoroughly enjoyed our week here. Such a well appointed property with amazing views of sea and coastline. Also well positioned for our days out to Fowey, Looe and Polperro. We also enjoyed the local pub inn on the shore and restaurant Bewsheas. Would highly recommend this property.
Lovely property but the recycling is a problem that needs sorting as being emptied every fortnight meant when we arrived it was already jam packed so we had no where to put ours! Black bin was also full until the Tuesday. Not ideal. Bbq my mum emptied the ashes out but was too dirty for us to use as we didnt have any cleaning items for it and to be honest if shouldnt have been left how it was for guests. No cushions for the outside furniture. Owner was responsive. Rooms were great, beds comfy. Beautiful view and could hear the sea and waves at night.
