We had a fantastic stay in Skylarks! Just what we wanted, a nice peaceful getaway in the countryside which is close to many beaches. The hottub Great to use in the cooler evenings. Our little boy loved exploring aroubd the holiday home. Highly recommend

Skylarks was a heavenly place to stay for our 10 days in Cornwall spotlessly clean, wellequipped, tastefully decorated, very comfortable, offering stunning views across the countryside and within minutes of the sea. A welcome basket of treats, plus the necessaries for breakfast, were most appreciated. After long days travelling about Cornwall to hike along the coast, wander through beautiful gardens and visit other sites of interest, our muscles appreciated a few minutes in the hot tub. And cosy evenings by the logburner wrapped up every day nicely. Our wants were few while we were there, but Janice responded promptly and with friendliness to all our questions and needs. We highly recommend Skylarks!

The cottage was very clean and had everything you needed for your holiday. The hot tub was also a great accest and the try of treats to welcome you. Very dog friendly would definitely book again.

The cottage is lovely, furnished to a hugh standard with lots of additional finishing touches such as tea, coffee, dishwasher tablets etc and a wonderful welcome pack including treats for the dog. The hot tub was amazing and used a lot. The owner was on hand if required. Thoroughly recommend this cottage, thank you.

This place cannot be faulted. Very well presented, warm and cozy. Lovely owners, very helpful. We spent two glorious weeks here and would highly recommend. The house has everything you could possibly need for a lovely stay. The hot tub was used every day and made the evenings sitting looking up at the stars. We even used it in the rain, bliss.

We had a lovely stay, Skylarks is very well equiped, beds extremely comfortable and there are so many extra thoughtful touches. Janice was helpful and on hand without being at all intrusive. The welcome hamper was wonderful with my favourite sourdough bread. The hot tub was an extra luxury which we enjoyed greatly

We loved the cottage. It was spotlessly clean and the welcome goodies were a very kind thought. Well equipped, with very tasteful high quality furnishings and accessories. The hot tub is a great feature and the enclosed courtyard perfect when you have dogs. BBQ was very welcome too. Would love to return.

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic area. We all had a great time exploring Cornwall. The cottage had everything you needed and was very clean. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. The garden was maintained but a table and seats on the lawn area would of been good,just so you can enjoy the view. Thanks Janice fantastic time Rich R

We had a fantastic week and the owners were really lovely and friendly. Cottage was very homely, snd very well equips, and a lovely touch with the welcome hamper.great to have an enclosed garden for the dog, and treat with the hot tub and the open fire.

This is an amazing cottage and one we will return to . As we celebrated New Year the Christmas decorations were up still up. This included a gorgeous Christmas Tree and a wreath on the door . There was also a welcome hamper with lots of goodies . The cottage was the most cleanest self catering accommodation I have stayed in . It was really luxurious and we did not want to leave . The beds and bedding are superb and as it is so quiet there we had the best nights sleep . The Hot Tub was a great way to enjoy the countryside views. It was well maintained and is on a raised terrace so easy access . Inside the cottage is tastefully furnished and there are lots of thoughtful touches . These included hair bands and cotton buds . The Kitchen is well equipped and was great as we cooked several times . Tescos delivered to us too which was helpful . We drove out to several local beaches and spent a morning in Looe. We enjoyed Seaton Beach with the Dog . The cottage was a welcome retreat to come back to . We will return one day to this lovely haven. So much work has gone into this and it shows .

We had a lovely week staying in this holiday home & we used the amazing hot tub every day. The house was very comfortable & clean with great facilities & everything we needed. The surrounding area is beautiful & a short drive to Looe & other places to visit

We really enjoyed our stay in Skylarks. The beds and sofas are very comfortable, the property is well thought out, and very clean. Janice left a generous and delicious welcome pack. We had an issue with hot water, which is easy to resolve when you know how. The table mats are in a drawer under the table. Many dogs could escape from the garden, but there is an enclosed courtyard that is secure. Overall, we would definitely recommend Skylarks a wonderful property.

A lovely roomy cottage with all mod cons and lots of little comforts. In a secluded spot with beautiful views, but close to Looe and plenty of activities in the area. Lovely ground and hot tub. Beds very comfortable. We had one small issue with hot water which was sorted very quickly. We really enjoyed our stay and heartily recommend for parents with young children!

Skylarks is an absolute delight. We had a wonderful fortnight and thoroughly enjoyed the comfort and peaceful atmosphere. The hottub was treat, especially when the weather forgot it was summer! Thank you for being so welcoming, we will definitely return.

Beautiful cottage in a quiet secluded countryside location but close to Looe. Lovely modern kitchen, comfy lounge, downstairs shower room, 3 good size bedrooms. Very well appointed with everything you require supplied. We very gratefully accepted the offer of a baby high chair & travel cot. Hot tub was amazing. Great place for a dog with local dog walks. Private off road parking. Supermarkets at Liskeard only 15 min drive. Millendreath beach a short drive away highly recommended. A very relaxing holiday made special by our stay at Skylarks & the owners are very kind & helpful.

Stunning cottage, so cozy, spacious, clean, beds are soooo comfy. Lots of little extra details that make the stay special, welcome hamper on arrival which was a lovely touch. Great location for exploring.

Had a great stay at the cottage it has everything that you need. The hot tub is a great and very welcome after long walks. The only thing that we found was missing was a BBQ which would have been a nice touch, especially with so many farm shops with great produce. Overall would l recommend this cottage for anyone wishing to stay close to Looe.

Skylarks cottage is an absolute gem, well fitted out also tea coffe and dishwasher tabs. Tv with all the channels We were also blown away with the Xmas tree we really didnt expect that. Spotlessly clean, beds really comfortable skylarks is a real credit to the owners. We will definitely be going back in 2024. Oh not to forget the amazing hot tub.

What a delightful cottage we really enjoyed our stay and the hot tub was a real treat. We travelled along the coast to lots of beaches and harbour towns, including Looe and Polperro. As we had warmish weather we enjoyed sea swimming every day, especially at Talland Bay. Would recommend a visit to Skylarks for those keen to explore this beautiful area. Christine & Bob

The property itself was fantastic, every detail had been really well thought through! The surroundings were great and my little boy loved the passing tractors and his tour around the farm to see the cows was a big bonus! We would most definitely stay again without doubt!! Wonderful place to stay ,the most idyllic location. Home furnished beautifully and the comfiest beds ever ! Perfect location for Looe ,Polperro ,Polzeath ,Fabulous day at Rock then ferry over to Padstow then gorgeous hot tub on return .Very highly recommend and great hosts too .

A truly wonderful place to stay, perfect location out of town but not too far away when we wanted to head out, clean well layed out and the owner was always on hand for any questions. The Hot Tub went down a treat Cant wait to return

We had a wonderful stay in this property. The views are stunning and so peaceful. The house is very comfortable, beautifully decorated and well equipped. We took 2 Labradors with us and even they were catered for with their own welcome pack of bed, bowl and treats etc. They both appreciated that very much! Everything was just perfect and we had some much needed quality time as a family. Very enjoyable getaway.

Where do I start . . A very deceiving cottage is Skylarks .. a bit of a Tardis , interior is laid out very well 3 good double rooms all a good size , comfortable beds , bathroom facilities upstairs and down was a plus .. especially having 2 showers . Big lounge nice furniture ,, TV with ALL the channels . Kitchen was large enough to cook and have a dining table for 6 without being in the way , very well equipped as well even down to fresh coffee teasugarinstant coffee jars full to the brim .. some really nice touches . Oh yes and the Hot tub in the garden just to finish things off . would recommend Skylarks without any hesitation at all , just far enough out of town , Looe only about 6 miles away . All in all a lovely break Thank you . regards Dave .

This place absolutely blew us away from the minute we opened the door we were like children running around choosing our bedrooms and jumping on the beds with excitement. We were 2 couples 40s & 50s wanting a nice relaxing break away with the dog and that's exactly what we got. Also celebrating a big birthday made it even more special. The cottage is beautifully decorated to the very high standard , super spacious and has a real cosy, home from home feel to it. You can tell its recently been done up as everything is so fresh and new. The owner has obviously put a lot of time, thought and effort into making Skylarks the perfect holiday home. The downstairs bathroom is very stylish and the 2 bedrooms we used were comfy with plenty of hanging space which also included a dressing gown each and nice thick quality towels. The private courtyard is a perfect safe space for the dog he loved it and even made friends with the dog next door even if it was only through the upstairs window where they would spend hours just looking at each other. The hot tub was a nice touch me and my friend spent hours in there chatting even when it rained . Such a calm , tranquil space. If you want a nice peaceful break exploring Looe and surrounding area this cottage gives you all that and more. Dont be put off by lack of reviews. For walkers wanting to walk into Looe head for Millendreath theres a lovely cafe on the beach . Go to Tregoad caravan park turn right follow road. It is very up and down with steps and hills but a lovely walk. Janice the owner was very friendly and accommodating nothing was to much trouble and she was always on hand with any questions. Thank you , we had such a lovely stay . The cottage is by far the nicest place we have ever stayed. Hopefully see you again whenever that may be.
