Swn Y Wylan Reviews

Felicity
On arriving at the property, we found it to smell very musty. No mod cons in the kitchen, no air fryer, oven very old. Bathrooms and showers are good. There was a light in the living room that had completely come off the ceiling and was exposing wires, I contacted Sykes and they had a maintenance man there within the hour. Living area upstairs had lovely views and was spacious. Large back bedroom window needs replacing as rain was coming in through the seals. This property would be lovely if I was modernised a little. Wardrobes and furniture very dated.

Unfortunately, the proper smelt quite musty and fount like no one had been in there for awhile. There was a horribly stained duvet left of the wardrobe of the front bedroom and I wouldnt like to describe what it was stained with. I assume that was the cause of the smell that was particularly bad in that bedroom. The description was slightly misleading in terms of the ability to walk into Abersoch. Yes if youre a hiker put with late 60s people and one being slightly ill chances to walk in with limited. Mattress was solid in the back bedroom and we both woke up with bad backs. Whilst I appreciate it was cheaper than most of the other properties in the area it was still tired and made up of secondhand auction furniture. The view was substandard and not as expected, and although the house was a good size it felt like we were staying on some sort of a council estate. In all not a great property location or condition. Sorry, but you need to know.
Spacious accommodation in a quiet location but with good access to the beach at Abersoch. Lovely large lounge with views over the coast.
Lovely house, great views, well equipped and very different to go on holiday and live upstairs and sleep downstairs. Loved the sunroom. Great having a garage for storing your paddle boards and being able to use washing machine etc in garage.

Most enjoyable stay. We'll be back.
