The Artist's Cabin By The Sea Reviews

Loved the cabin, exceeded any expectations. Would highly recommend and want to come back to snuggle by the woodburner.
Loved this accomodation exactly as decribed. Plenty of space for the two of us. Noted from the blurb there was no TV so on the odd occasion we needed some entertainment we took a laptop down with us. Good wifi.
Michael
Lovely accommodation, very quirky and nicely decorated, comfortable and in a great location.
What a lovely place and perfect spot to spend a few days R&R. The cabin was just as described, with everything you might need. In the absence of an over, I brought my air fryer from home, which was useful for a quick supper.

Another wonderful stay in the Cabin. I love the cosiness, simplicity, peace and the location is perfect. Plenty of walks, and places to stop off for coffee, cake or food. Shops nearby, so no need to drive anywhere if you don't want to.

Unfortunately I had to come on my own , as my partner couldn't come due to a family crisis,,,,,It was perfect for a Wind Down Weekend after the stress of London , But everything was perfect, And I had the best sleeps I've had in years ,,,,Everything i needed was in easy walking distance and the locals where very friendly,,,,I will definitely be back
We had a wonderfully relaxing time at the artists cabin. It's is tastefully furnished and decorated and well equipped . It's hidden away and very quiet but with a view of the sea and a very short walk to the sea front. We had some lazy cosy evenings reading. We have never explored the Kent coastline before and enjoyed visiting Herne Bay, the Reculver Towers Whitstable, Deal and Deal castle, Broadstairs , Canterbury and Canterbury Cathedral. There are still places we want to explore and would like to book the cabin again.

Had a wonderful stay here, cabin was cosy and quiet. Perfectly positioned for the beach and many lovely walks. Shops and town nearby.
A peaceful comfortable and relaxing retreat that I fully recommend. The owner is helpful and unintrusive.
Nicholas
Joyful stay. Very comfortable cabin with pretty much everything you need apart from an oven. Most important is the short walk to the very quiet beach.

We loved the Cabin. It is beautifully designed, cosy and comfortable. And the location is fantastic, the walk to Reculver really special. Every touch in the cabin is so clearly thought through and nicely designed, we loved it.

We were a bit disappointed in some of the facilities. There really should be a lock on the side door, there was nothing to stop anyone entering.. There should be a sink in the bathroom, it was bad that we had to use the kitchen sink, particularly difficult for my husband to shave without a mirror There really didn't need to be a bit feather duvet on the bed in the summer. No windows opened and it was very hot. No microwave or TV... admittedly it was stated but it should have been made more obvious. The step down to the garden was ridiculously high, I had to lift my dog in and out. My husband is disabled and it was difficult for him.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Artist's Cabin by the Sea. Having never been to Kent before it was a great base to explore from. Enjoyable walking both ways east and west, the views are sublime. Herne Bay and Whitstable to the west and Margate to the east, we also visited Broadstairs, Ramsgate, Sandwich Bay, Deal, Canterbury, Grove Ferry, and Faversham. Seafood in abundance! Sea swims of course, and crepes at Reculver Towers. For the two of us & Smudge the dog the cabin was a delight to stay at quiet, snug, and homely. We had terrific weather so found ourselves on the cliffs, on the shoreline, or in the garden most evenings. Some amazing sunsets! A delightful week.

Wonderful cabin, just as described, perfectly positioned opposite a shingle beach and coastal paths. All amenities at hand, with a side and front garden, so you could always find sun or shade. Ideal base to explore northern Kent. Highlights were Whitstable and Canterbury, and the local fish and chip shop!
Comfortable stay in a lovely location, perfect for long dog walks, particularly liked the country park and the dog friendly cafe at Reculver. The property was compact, with all basic equipment and facilities needed. The enclosed garden could do with a tidy up and some of the decor bangs on the side of the building when windy. As a solo female visitor I would have liked a bolt on the side door and a blind on the bathroom window, however I had a very enjoyable holiday

Beautiful little hut, which is very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Right by the sea, at the end of a quiet culdesac. Lots of amenities nearby, wonderful walking trails and within easy reach of the Kent road network.
Wonderful stay in the peaceful and quirky Artists Cabin. Fabulous position for seafront walks. Loved the stove and sun trap garden spaces. Spotlessly clean and great communication from the owner.
We enjoyed a relaxing few days at the Artists Cabin which we found warm, clean and comfortable. Given that we were well aware of the space limitations when we booked, the sacrifices we had to make were much as expected and perfectly acceptable for a short break. The main attraction for us was the location which allowed almost immediate access to the beach and provided a decent 45 minute walk to Herne Bay with our dog along a continuous promenade.
Michael
Lovely cosy stay at The Artists Cabin, we were a bit concerned we would be warm enough, as it was on the coast, we need not of worried, we were wel looked after, very cosy and warm. . Super comfortable bed. Very quiet position down a lane near to a nature reserve. Most enjoyable stay.
I spent a few days last week staying in Rachel's cute little Artist's Cabin. It is well eqipped, with warm radiators, as well as a log stove and very comfortable and filled with her fascinating art work. The beach access was only about 100 yds away, down a wide paved path Herne Bay itself a very pleasant walk along the paved coast path about a mile and a half. I hope I can return again in the summer, and spend more time on the beach.
We had a lovely stay here with our dog. The location is perfect for exploring the beach and for days out to places such as Whitstable. Herne Bay is about a 1.5 mile walk along the seafront, which was a beautiful walk. It was well stocked and incredibly cosy we loved the wood burner! Rachael is a great host and very responsive. Overall a great stay!
