A farm shop and pub are moments away and there are more shops, cafes and restaurants in the pretty fishing port of Padstow, just 2 miles away. Touches of blue in this welcoming holiday bungalow add a seaside air. The lounge houses a large corner sofa, a wood burner and a pool table, along with games and books. Leading off is the kitchen with a breakfast bar and a lovely, light-filled dining area overlooking the garden. There are four attractive bedrooms: a king-size, two twins and a bunk room for children only. A bathroom, shower room and utility room with a tumble dryer complete the interior. Outside is a separate entrance for beachgoers in wetsuits, as well as water for rinsing sandy feet or paws and a storage shed for beach equipment. The large rear garden has a patio with wooden furniture and table tennis. Trevone is one of several golden sandy beaches beloved by families and surfers on this stretch of Cornwall’s magnificent north coast. While tail waggers at Trevone are restricted to early morning and evening walks in the summer season, nearby Harlyn, Treyarnon and Constantine Bays, are dog friendly throughout the year. Head for Padstow and the bustling harbour, with its colourful fishing boats. Sea trips on offer include a wildlife safari, where you can spot seals, and a voyage along the coast aboard the veteran Jubilee Queen. Other attractions include the scenic Camel Trail for walkers and cyclists, and Prideaux Place, a fine Elizabethan manor house.

The Bower Reviews

Erica
Fantastic location and plenty of space for a family, some issues with cleanliness which took the edge off for us.
Hannah
Home is in an amazing quiet location so close to Trevone bay. Beautiful gardens, perfect for dogs. Very homely feeling with lots of books and games for all ages. Pool table provided great entertainment on rainy days. House itself is spacious but dated in décor and the current finish is fairly basic.
Marc
The Bower is a well appointed and welcoming family space all on one level. It is perfectly situated in a quiet side road with ample parking and only five minutes walk to Trevone beach. The open plan kitchen diner and lounge was ideal for family time along with a superb outdoor space. Would thoroughly recommend.
Samantha
Lovely, open-plan house, in a great position, close to the beach and cafe. The pool table and ping pong table were so useful when it was raining. Friendly owners. We would definitely stay here again.
Hazel
Lovely house in great location with a good garden for dogs and well equipped. The outside of the property is very tired and could do with some maintenance and painting and so let's it down.
David
The property and location was perfect for us. Trevone is a wonderful area of Cornwall. The interior was really well thought out and adapted perfectly for a family/group holiday let. We loved the location, super garden, countryside views, well-kitted out kitchen, generous parking & private road, garage storage, wetsuit drying room, games (especially pool table, board games, TV/streaming and DVD collection) and very comfortable bedrooms.
Natalie
We love coming to The Bower. Have been for a few years.
Sally
Trevone beach was only a short distance away and the children loved it. There were plenty of games to keep the children happy. The facilities were great, a washing machine, a washing up machine, a tumble dryer made life easy. The beds were comfortable and our stay for the week was lovely.
Robert
It was a great house in an excellent location for the beach with lovely country views out the back. The pool and table tennis tables were a big bonus. Bedrooms were comfortable and the showers worked well.
Philip
Very well equipped accommodation in a superb location
Dawn
A lovely bungalow just a couple of minutes walk from the beach. There was everything we needed for a self catering break. We especially enjoyed the pool table, the huge TV in the lounge and having a seperate TV in the master bedroom. The property was very clean on arrival and we appreciated the welcome gifts. As regular visitors to the area we would absolutely stay at the Bower again.
Barry
Perhaps the bungalows' greatest strength is its nearness to a very nice sand beach and excellent audiovisual facilities.
David
Very clean, excellent location, dont be put off by the exterior
