Eileen and Michael were so welcoming, scones and jam on arrival. The Coach House is a lovely destination with everything you may need for a very comfortable stay. It was immaculate, plenty of space for multigenerational holiday and the dog! It was truly home from home. Thank you.
Beautifully presented property a few minutes drive from Matlock. Extremely well equipped and comfortable and remarkably cool during the heatwave lovely shaded outside area was also a pleasant place to sit and relax. Highly recommended.
This is a 5 property and delivers everything promised in the description and more. Every comfort has been thought about. It has all those extras you didnt know you needed!
A stunning property both inside and out with some lovely and very thoughtful touches. Eileen and Michael made us feel right at home and couldn't have been more helpful. With so much to explore in the area we will definitely be back in the future!
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, our time at the Coach House was a fabulous experience. It was a real home from home, luxuriously well appointed, immaculate , tranquil and very homely. Everything was well thought out for both practicality and maximum comfort. Everybody in our group loved the house, the beautiful area and the very kind, friendly hosts. The thoughtful welcome touches went down very well on arrival on such a hot day! We would certainly stay again without hesitation and highly recommend the place to anyone else considering booking.
We hired The Coach House to celebrate a family wedding anniversary and birthday. We were delighted with the house and location from the moment we arrived. Wonderful accommodation, all bedrooms have own en suite bathroom facilities. The kitchen dining room has everything you wish for and a delightful welcome pack of scones, cream, teas etc. If you have a dog the dog is well catered for with temporary address tag, biscuits, dog bed and feedwater bowls. The hosts were very helpful and lovely. All in all 1010. We will return.

This is a fantastic rental property which is well situated for exploring the Peak District and we all will be recommending it to friends and family. There is absolutely everything that you would need. Everything is high spec from kitchen to bedrooms en suites. There is a comfortable outside area. The owners live next door and were more than helpful in suggesting places to eat etc. They also left a lovely welcome pack. Thank you!

The cottage was an absolute dream and so thoughtfully filled with all the items you need! Eileen's special touches for the kids and also having all the plates, books etc. in the property, was wonderful and made our stay ever more enjoyable. The location is also wonderful, plenty of parking, as we were 3 couples with kids. Eileen was also so helpful with suggesting places to go and see and very quick to respond to any queries we had. We loved our stay so much, we definitely would like to come back again. The property was immaculately clean, wellstocked, large in size and perfect for us!

One of the nicest cottages weve stayed at, in the Peak District. A perfect base for exploring the beautiful Matlock area. We were made to feel very welcome from the minute we arrived by the owners who live next door. We Will definitely be booking again soon
Amazing cottage! So spacious even for 5 of us who went, fantastic decor and so lovely and cosy. The kitchen is gorgeous, plenty of extras provided like a coffee machine, washing machine, dishwasher etc. Optional log burner in the living room and underfloor heating downstairs. Eileen and Michael offered a travel cot and highchair for my baby niece who came with us which was such a lovely extra. Also left me a card, bubbly and some choc for my birthday! Plenty of hiking spots nearby and lots of brochures for nearby activities provided. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely come back!
What a fabulous house! We loved our stay at the Coach house so warm and cosy with a lovely welcome pack including freshly made scones, fizz and Valentines Day treats! The kitchen is well equipped we love cooking, beds really comfortable and the lovely ensuite bathrooms all was perfect for a multigenerational family holiday. We loved everything about the coach house and hope to come back! The hosts were friendly and welcoming too.
The accommodation was beautiful comfortable, well maintained and well presented throughout. As we were there for Christmas the owners had decorated for us and gone to a lot of effort to make the property feel festive. There were lots of lovely details including a holiday dog tag and hot and cold shower for our pooch and fresh scones for the humans on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, who are based next door. Would highly recommend this property.
A wonderful home from home with owners who really care and are at hand with any advice should you need it. A lovely property and we have already recommended it to others. We hope to be back in the springsummer for more walking. Lots of walks straight from the door. The fixtures and fittings are top quality and the kitchen is complete with all you would ever need. We had a wonderful time staying at The Coach House for a family Christmas celebration. The property is very comfortable and clean and finished to a high standard with great bathrooms. It had also been decorated which we really appreciated. We thought it was accommodating for dogs inside and the 2 under 2s in our group with high chairs no stair gate but we wouldnt have expected this. There was a lovely welcome pack and Eileen & Michael were very helpful with our minor queries. There are public footpaths nearby for some nice local walks. We would definitely recommend it and stay again! Thank you
This is one of the best properties that weve stayed in & we have several long weekends each year. We loved it so much that weve booked it again for next year. The owners are lovely & we had a lovely welcome & the welcome pack was a nice touch. The property is modern, with everything you need. Its comfortable and even though there were 6 adults there was lots of space for us all. I would highly recommend this property you wont be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay at The Coach House for Halloween. Eileen and Michael went to so much trouble to make us all feel welcome and provided lots of fun and spooky touches for our children. As an added bonus, the street was an amazing place to go trick or treating. The house itself is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. We were all very tempted to move in! The surrounding area is stunning and there was plenty for us to do with a toddler, teenagers and dogs. We can not wait to come back and stay again.

What a superb rental, we have used Sykes numerous times and stayed in some good accommodation but this has to be the best to date. Everything you could think of has been catered for. The hosts Eileen and Mike were very friendly and on hand next door should we have needed their help or advice, great hosts. We have 2 dogs and there is a public right of way and fields across the road from the property which we used each morning and evening. Location great for local walks.

This property was fabulous, we thought wed walked into a show house! Everything was just perfect, kitchen really well stocked with all you need, lounge very comfortable with the log burner really great for chilly evenings, beds comfortable and the en suite superb. As soon as we opened the door, we knew we had booked something very special. The Coach House is an amazing place and alot of thought has been put into it. It is well located to explore the area. We'd hope to return one day.
We have had a wonderful time staying at the beautiful coach house. The house is spotless and full with everything you may need plus more!! The hosts are fantastic and went above and beyond to make our stay even better. We can't wait to come back, and highly recommend to anybody.
We had a lovely stay , very comfortable and clean home , kitchen was well equipped. Lovely village and the butcher's shop was brilliant. Our dog loved the field to run around in and only over the road . One thing which would of made our stay even better would of been the use of some outside space , maybe a screen as directly opposite the owners lounge area . Would love to stay again next year .
Wow wow wow! !!! The Coach House is absolutely stunning. Eileen & Michael have renovated it to such a high standard it was amazing to walk into such a stunning place. It's situated near Matlock with many places to visit so makes it an ideal base for exploring around the area. Eileen went out of her way to find events on during our trip, as well as making our arrival so special with treats, scones & jam! We could not fault The Coach House, seriously it's stunning, we all wanted to move in!! Amazing hosts and would definitely recommend. 5 stars isn't enough!!

The only reason for the 8 was because it had no garden for the dog, which on the website it states gardenpatio and from the photo it looks like a garden is included as well. If your a elderly dog owner, not good to let a dog out quickly during the night.
