The Hermitage Reviews

1st impressions last and ours was that we loved this cosy little lodge with excellent facilities and hot tub, we're already planning our next trip back.
We had a great stay ideal base to explore the surrounding areas , short walk ... We had a great stay ideal base to explore the surrounding areas , short walk into town with shops and pubs ,hottub was great, the Harmitage is very peaceful and quiet would book again very happy thank you
Went for a girly chillout weekend. Arrived late so didn't really see the lodge. What a great place, must say easier to access in a smaller car as I have a 4x4. The hot tub and patio area are fabulous, the grounds well maintained. The property was well stocked. It was an ideal Base for our adventures and Penrith is a lovely little town. The slightly late check out was greatly appreciated as well
We booked The Hermitage as a girls trip away, the location is beautiful, it is on the grounds of a big house and it is very well kept. We didn't have any problems with our stay, it was gorgeous, but we do have a few reccomendations. There are signs saying Hot tub use prohibited after 10pm out of respect for their neighbours, however someone local was playing guitar until 12pm... When we got there, they could've provided one starter loo role as we hadn't been shopping yet and couldnt use the bathroom after a 2hr drive. Cleaner, you need to explore the bedroom roof and bed for cobwebs as there was so many dusty cobwebs. Owners were nice, we didn't meet them but they checked in and messaged.
Lovely stay in the Hermitage. Everything was exactly as described and the owners were very helpful. Great place to relax. Thank you for having us.
Lovely log cabin. Owners very friendly and approachable. Had to call them to get instructions for access to property on arrival. Property clean, comfortable and had plenty of facilities. Hot tub lovely too. Only negative is that the outdoor area looks a little dated and none of the outdoor lights worked apart from the one off the kitchen. However, this didn't spoil our stay.
