Peaceful and relaxing, very quiet, lovely to see the swans and ducks and the canal barges passing the accommodation. Owners very helpful.

We loved our stay but with a few little niggles. We didn't realise that we would be expected to provide toilet rolls. We thought, like sheets and towels, these would be included. We were told that we should buy our own but were initially supplied with one per toilet and an extra one as well. We did buy some extra and left the surplus for the next guests. There was no toilet roll holder. There was no dish cloth. We had to do a little pruning of the weeds over the fence to get to all parts of the patio. The outdoor cleaning could have perhaps been better. The dimmer switches everywhere were a bit of a 'faff' but we managed.

Great accommodation for two couples in quiet location overlooking canal. Bonus of two parking spaces and hot tub. Great location with two pubs , fish and chip shop and Indian restaurant within walking distance. Lovely surrounding country side.

We wanted a few days away in North Yorkshire with good friends, and the Swans Nest provided the perfect setting for a place to relax, unwind and to reflect on the day. The accommodation was beautiful and provided everything we needed for the perfect stay.

Shower in the upstairs bathroom came out of its fitting we managed to put it back in but could probably do with looking at. Also could do with a shelf in shower cubicle for shower gel, shampoo etc

Lovely house, beautifully situated by the LeedsLiverpool canal. It was very peaceful ideal for spotting wildlife such as herons and a kingfisher yet convenient for the village centre. Stargazing from the hot tub was an extra treat.

Fantastic property. Lovely location on canal. Lots of walks from the doorstep. Only used our car once. 2 mins walk to shops and pubs. Highly recommend it. We will definitely be booking again.

An excellent property, newly built by the owner. The only slight issue all four of us had was the lack of a bath mat and grab rail in the bathshower area this was discussed with the owner on our departure. We loved the range of eating establishments in the village,

Beautiful property in a perfect quiet location with easy access to a local Coop, 2 good pubs, an Indian restaurant and a Fish and Chip Shop. The beds were so comfortable as were the settee and arm chair. A lovely welcome pack awaited us, also the owner who was very friendly and informative greeted us on arrival. Overall we had a wonderful relaxing stay and would love to return and would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the swans nest, we were met by Kyle who gave us an orientation of the property. Theres everything you need to cook a Sunday roast if you wished. The bedrooms are immaculate beds so comfortable. Theres a bath & shower in each bedroom good size tvs in every room. Off the lounge area theres a lovely view over the canal, watching the wildlife and boats passing an hot tub. We thought having stopped a few times in the area this was by far the best and will definitely return.

We had a lovely stay at The Swans Nest Lock View. It had everything we wanted spotlessly clean and appointed to a very high standard. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The kitchen had all the appliances we could have asked for. It was all really lovely, we didnt want to leave! Nicola and Kyle were very welcoming. There was a bottle of wine, a box of chocolates, a bottle of fresh milk in the fridge and plenty of tea bags! We would definitely like to return.

The Swans Nest is an lovely modern holiday property, well built, beautifully furnished and ideally situated next to the Leeds Liverpool canal. A 2 minute walk from the village of Gargrave with a number of local walks. A walk to Skipton via the canal towpath is a little over 4 miles from The Swans Nest. A great base for those that enjoy the countryside and walking.

We stayed during Aug bank holiday 2 couples and used it as a base location for 2 action packed days. The only downside was due to our itinerary we didn't have a plethora of time to enjoy the cottage and all it had to offer in room bathtubs, watching TV etc, meaning we did not get full value for our money as it is not the cheapest. Problem solved now as we have booked it again for my hubbies 40th next year for a week for just the 2 of us to really take advantage of everything the cottage and the village has to offer, and I am already so excited. If you are thinking of booking it just do it, it's absolute BLISS

Gorgeous property, great hosts! When we arrived we were greeted by the owners who showed us around. The property was very clean and beautifully decorated. The hot tub was a great bonus especially after a long day exploring for local area. The property is in a great location, very quiet area and beautifully situated overlooking the canal. A beautiful property with a large balcony overlooking the canal, we could watch the wildlife and the boats travelling by. Loved the hot tub too, only five minutes to the local amenities, The Masons Arms produced lovely meals and the local fish and chip shop is a must. Kyle and Nichola should be proud of what they have achieved.

This property is absolutely stunning. Everything is finished to a very high qualtity and everything you could possibly need is provided. The location is perfect, right on the canal bank and very central for all the attractions that are available in this stunning part of the country. The owners were very helpful and the welcome pack was generous.
