About Tides

This superb and unique property sits in an ideal position in the small seaside town of Ilfracombe. The town's high street and seafront are just a short walk from the property, peppered with a variety of restaurants and bars along with small independent shops and the amusements. Damien Hirst’s Verity is also located on the sea front. The Landmark Theatre is close by, offering shows, live music and festivals throughout the year. The Tunnels Beaches with its water pools is located at the bottom of the road and is a real hit with families. Further along Granville Road is the ‘Torrs Walk’ which has some great walking opportunities complete with spectacular coastal scenery. Stepping inside the property you arrive in the entrance hallway. On the ground floor are three of the bedrooms: first is the king-size with sea views and en-suite bathroom with free standing bath, shower and WC also with a TV. The other two include a spacious double with sofa bed and TV and a twin, both with sea views. Also, on this floor is the beautifully appointed bathroom with bath and WC. Climbing the turret style spiral staircase up to the first floor ,you are immediately stopped in your tracks by the panoramic views. From one side you have views of the charming town and the other side, the sea and coastline. There are ceiling to floor doors, allowing natural light to flood in giving this area a bright and airy feel. The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner is stylishly finished with quality fittings, well-equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine, and has a breakfast bar with stools. The dining area has a large table with seating for everyone with sea views and patio doors opening out onto the sea facing balcony. From here, the lounge has large sofas, sea views and is the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. It also has a TV/DVD with surround sound system and wood burner for those cooler evenings as well as bi-folding doors that open on either side of the room onto separate balconies. Head back down the turret style spiral staircase to the ground floor, then continue down to the lower ground floor with a further lounge area also with TV and surround sound system. There is also a cleverly hidden kitchenette with fridge, dishwasher and storage, screened by folding doors - useful when wanting to access the garden with direct access to outside.
