Una, Carbis Bay

We were so happy with our holiday Lodge. . we were lucky enough to have an earlier time to check in, such a lovely bonus. We were warmly welcomed and given all the information we needed for the lodge, hot tub and the spa facilities. The indoor and outdoor pools were such a fabulous bonus. The lodge was perfect for a large family and the little ones loved the puzzles and games. I loved my room with a balcony and ensuite.. Great location to walk to Carbis bay and costal walks to St Ives and Porthkidney. We will be back. Thank you

Lovely property, very spacious and clean although a pair of trousers and jumper had been left on the back of one of bedroom doors when we arrived. Nice sized rooms, and very comfy. The owners were lovely, reaching out by email beforehand and giving lots of great advice regarding dog friendly beaches and places to eat. Only one small niggle the kitchen equipment was slightly lacking no wooden spoons a supermarket nearby resolved this, and limited saucepans. Overall though, a great property that we'd definitely book again if we return to Cornwall.

We had a wonderful stay at Una Lodge 73. The lodge was spotless on arrival, beautifully furnished, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. It really felt like a home away from home. The location was excellent peaceful and private, yet within easy reach of St Ives and the stunning beaches nearby. The pool and spa facilities were a real highlight and added so much to our stay. Its a bit of a shame that the onsite restaurant has closed down, as it would have been lovely to have that option onsite, but this didnt take away from the overall experience.

Lovely home, large kitchen dining area for gathering over food. Hot tub was enjoyed by all! Nice, easy living. Great to have the pool and spa right on site, as well as a caf for a proper latte. Pity there's no restaurant, though highly recommend La Casita which is just a 10 minute walk down the road. NB Carbis Bay beach was 'no dogs' but Hayle beach, a short drive away, was great for them!

Shouldnt be advertised as a private hot tub, completely open all the way around the property and over looking a building site. Onsite facilities are excellent which was the saving grace of this holiday. Hot tub was well looked after and glad we paid the extra for it. Sorry but would not recommend to pet owners, or families of very small children as garden is open. Housekeeping were excellent at dealing with issues and Alfred and his team do a fantastic job. The property is large and modern but needs a little TLC regards to decorating etc.

If you have any issues Alfred and his wife are amazing and a credit to the property owner. They deal with any problems immediately, Alfred was professional but friendly and nothing was too much trouble at all. The free resort spa swimming pool is a great asset to the Una facilities and I am glad I paid the extra money for your personal hot tub. The walk to the beach takes able 20 mins but it is a steep hill. St Ives is one stop from Carbis Bay station which is very helpful as parking in St. Ives is awful. We used the helpful information and can recommend A1 taxis service The Forge for takeaway pizza A massage booked at the Una Resort Spa especially using the Gold Card.

We came here for a week with our special needs son, the owner sent me an email prior to my arrival which felt very personal and welcoming. Eddie also was very accepting over us bringing our sons safe bed and to shuffle the furniture a little to accommodate him. The housekeeper rang me a couple of days prior to arrival and was also very inviting offering any help prior to our arrival and even offering to assemble my sons bed if we needed help. The house we fell in love with as soon as we walked in, spacious, nice decor, very well equipped kitchen, lots of towels. The beds were very comfortable with high quality linen. The hot tub was clean and looked after. The woodfire made the nights cosy and we had the best sleeps weve not had in years due to my son not sleeping well but he slept very well at 73. We very much had the best stay in Carbis bay after travelling here for many years we were sad to say goodbye, unfortunately they are booked out for Christmas at 73, but we are returning to another lodge on site for our Christmas this year. I would highly recommend this house and would love to be at 73 for our next spring holiday. Thank you Eddie, Zoe and all the housekeeping team at Una for making us feel very welcome.

A short break we really needed. Very comfortable accommodation. The spa , pool & cafe on site were all excellent.

The lodge was an exceptionally high standard. Very well maintained and perfectly clean. Huge open plan living space on the ground floor ideal for the 8 of us plus dog. Hot tub immaculately clean and maintained daily. Bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs exactly as photographed great size and filled with light. Comfortable beds and hotel quality bedding. The owners of the lodge could not have been more accommodating. Regular contact ahead of and during our stay they went far above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. We visit St Ives and Car is Bay regularly and this was well up there. Wed return to Una and Lodge 73 with no hesitation. Thank you!

Lovely property clean and comfortable. Only had a short break but left relaxed and refreshed.
