Una, Carbis Bay

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Lodge 77. The site is smaller than I thought, relatively quiet and well maintained. The lodge was in good condition and Alfred was prompt in resolving the queries raised. Nice touch leaving Easter eggs for the kids upon arrival. The spa and swimming facilities are lovely.

We had a great relaxing stay at Una. Lodge 77 was clean and comfortable with all we needed for ourselves and our elderly dog. I enjoyed the added bonus of free access to the leisure facilities that were lovely. Will definitely book again when the summer arrives.

Beautiful lodge and enjoyed our time there, weather let it down and no enclosed garden for dog friendly . Its too exposed and had to have the dog on the lead at all times outside .

Really lovely lodge but needs some basic maintenance. Dishwasher didnt stay on its runners so was a pain to use. Freezer kept pulling forwards if you opened the door. Some of the door fittings were loose. Front door wouldnt lock from the inside. Chest of drawers in main bedroom need repairing or changing. Aside from this it was very quiet onsite which worked well for us. Nowhere to eat onsite apart from snacks. Good location for us but a bit out from the seafront.

We absolutely loved our stay in lodge 77! We are a family of 4 with children aged 9 and 13. The house was gorgeous. Really modern and airy. The hot tub was well used by us. We had a few niggles when we arrived but theyre not worth going into details on as they were swiftly sorted. Having the resort pool and spa facilities was fabulous and we used them most days. Carbis beach is lovely but down a very steep road to get there! White sand and clear water. St Ives is 34 mins away on the train so not even worth trying to take your car there as parking is very limited. At some point building work will start again at the Una resort Im sure, so it may be worth looking into this before your trip in case theres lots of noise from the building site. We will definitely be going back again!

Fantastic stay. Only minor comment was, for the price, I felt the place needed a bit of maintenance. Dishwasher and Washing machine kitchen cupboard veneer coming away, both bathrooms had problem with the plugs where you needed to get your nails in to get the plugs out, as the mechanism hadn't been adjusted. The painting in the kitchen looked like a bit of rush job. So wouldn't even occur to me to even notice such things, but since you are pay so much, you do! Anyway, otherwise a truly lovely place to stay, and Alfred made us feel very welcome.
