Upper Dolarddyn Reviews

Excellent accommodation. Couldnt fault it. Lovely views and surroundings and the house was well thought out and had been renovated to a high standard. Would definitely recommend.
We had a truly lovely weekend at Upper Dolarddyn a warm cosy cottage with plenty of space for our group of 8 and not lacking any amenities! ! The scenic views all around really added a lot and the table tennis in the garage was a real bonus that we thorughly enjoyed!!! We hope to be back again!!!

The owners of this property have thought of everything. The property was wellequipped, comfortable, in a great location for travel, loads of car parking space, in a beautiful scenic area, very spacious rooms, including kitchen. A fire pit, table tennis table in the garage, picnic benches. The beds were all very comfortable and the accommodation was warm, with the added comfort of wood burning fires in the Dining Room and Lounge. Just beautiful.
Fantastic property. Well located. Very well appointed. Excellent value for money. The only issue for some people who are taller than 1.70 m. would be the low beams and steps into the kitchen. Fine once you get used to them. That said we would definitely stay there again !
We really enjoyed our stay. Table tennis was an added bonus as was the stream. Beds were really comfy, plenty of bathrooms and views were great. Lots of wood provided for the fires downstairs. One downside was no heating in the evening upstairs as heating is timed.
Excellent property very clean and spacious in perfect location to explore Wales ... Excellent property very clean and spacious in perfect location to explore Wales stairgates on every level was perfect for the 2 year old the log fire was well stocked with wood and the kitchen had everything you need for an easy stay the milk and cake was a nice touch would definitely stay again thankyou

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house in a beautiful setting. Everything was absolutely perfect. Just one little suggestion and its not a moan. There werent any coasters to put our hot drinks on. We didnt like to put our cups on the wooden table as we were worried wed mark it. But other than that it was perfect. I would 100 book again and recommend to friends & family. Thank you xx
I think we had the absolute privilege of being the first guests to stay in this beautifully restored former tavern! Everything has been so tastefully done and every comfort has been thought of...comfy beds, fabulous duvets and pillows, towels, shower mats and loads of spare loo rolls, plus unexpected extras like shampoo, shower gel and deodorant in each bathroom. In the really well equipped kitchen, cake awaited us and tea and coffee, milk and sugar were provided so we could refresh ourselves when we arrived. Dog bowls beds and pooh bags also available, and fabulous stairgates to keep curious dogs where they were supposed to be! Logs were ready for the stove and outside, footballs, ping pong, bbq and fire pit all available for us to use. Games and thoughtful books along with blankets to enable doggies to snuggle on sofas were a welcoming touch too. We really enjoyed our stay and explored the local steam railway, the canal in welshpool, and montgomery castle. It's a lovely area and definitely worth a repeat visit. Thank you very much!
