Valley View, Mullion

The house is of a very good standard, with pretty much everything you need. It is a semidetached but luckily had no one next to us as we were the only guests on the site. All 4 rooms are a good size with TVs and all ensuite, which were modern and had decent showers. The beds were fairly comfy. Kitchen was well equipped but would have expected a coffee machine to fit the standard of finish. TV room was great with all the main channels and nice mood lighting, and plenty of seats for everyone. There are 4 holiday cottages situated on an equestrian farm, the owners also live there between 2 separate houses. As it's a working farm, it can be noisy early in the morning, with staff shouting at the horses when passing by. There is a gym, infra red sauna, indoor pool and games rooms, including, basketballracket sports and table tennis as well as room with darts, snooker and pool tables, also, kids playground and football nets. All of decent standard. The house has a stone barbeque and hot tub. We had the hot tub for 4 out of 7 days, as unfortunately, when we tried it on the Wednesday evening, the jets just stopped working, I reported it Thursday morning but was told they were unable to get it fixed until Saturday the day we were leaving. I expressed how disappointed we were as the hot tub was the main reason we booked, but they didn't respond to this and no attempt was made to fix it or offer us to use one of the other 3 hot tubs. This made such a difference to our stay, I would expect them to be better prepared ifwhen things go wrong. The town of Mullion has a Spar and CoOp and 2 pubs, which we didn't try. The chip shop is closed down. Lizard is the closest place 15 min drive with decent pubscafesrestaurantsgood butchers and seafood shoprestaurant. The closest beach is 1 mile away, Poldhu Beach, which is a lovely cove with a great cafe. It's either a walk on a road or drive which we thought was safest.

Everything clean and tidy

Wow what a fantastic stay we've just had at Valley View everything about the place is fantastic from the cleanliness to the facilities and the owners are so friendly and helpful. If you want a fantastic stay you need to go here Absolutely brilliant and we are going back next year booked after a couple of days of being there.

Valley View was lovely, location really beautiful. Chris very welcoming. Pool and shared facilities were great. Property looked better than the photos, awesome living room with huge TV. One thing that would be useful would be some hooks by the hot tub for towels. Great location for getting to the coast and local attractions.

Beautiful property, with beautiful facilities. We had a proper induction, and were overwhelmed with how beautiful everything was. From location to cleanliness to the facilities. Everything was pristine, immaculate, so very beautiful in a beautiful area with very friendly people.

We have had the very best long weekend staying at Valley View. We loved every second. Our accommodation was everything and more. Modern, clean, light and airy..with all the little touches that helped make our stay special. We made good use of all the facilities, especially the hot tub. Communication with the owners was clear and informative. We celebrated my 60th birthday with our family and it was perfect thank you

A group of 7 of us stayed here for a week and couldnt of found a better property. After searching for months for something that suited everyones requests we finally found this one and was overjoyed with the facilities, house, views and area. All round fantastic experience and will definitely come back

Lovely houses, lovely location and owner was very helpful. The houses are very spacious and every bedroom having own bathroom makes so much better with large numbers. Heated pool and the garden park area we and the kids loved. Thank you

Great property and facilities. Everything was immaculate. Super helpful hosts ready to meet and greet and show us around. The funky lighting definitely got us in the mood for the Eurovision!

Another excellent stay at Valley View. We love it here and this was our second stay! Location is fantastic and the facilities in and around the cottage are unbeatable. Made the rainy day we had this time easy with the kids as they swam, went in the games room and rode a pony!

Difficult to find anything that hasn't already been said about this excellent property so will go for 1 Well organised recycling arrangements. 2 Appreciate handwash on all basins and good supply of dishwasher tablets sadly missing in many holiday lets . 3 Plenty of proper wooden coat hangers. 4 Lots of hooks for coats by the front door, plus shoe rack to keep the floor clean. These may seem like minor things but are often a cause of irritation to us in otherwise perfectly nice places We enjoyed staying here and will be back again next year.

Great house, facilities and location. Having all bedrooms ensuite with their own TVs was great, and the communal areas were brilliant both within the house and in terms of the pool and sports facilities. The pool was bigger than we expected too such a treat! Highly recommended.

The whole place was perfect,very relaxing, and everything we wanted . The host was very helpful and gave us the freedom to just enjoy our holiday!!

Valley view is a fantastic property, set in rural cornwall on a working horse school. The little ones loved watching the horses come in and out to the fields each day along the bottom of the garden. It has pretty much everything you need with all mod cons. And facilities to keep all ages happy including a walled garden for our four legged friend. The local pub for food The Old Inn and the fish & chip shop in mullion are highly recommended, the Chinese restauranttakeaway on the Gweek Road is also very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldnt hesitate to come back.

Great property, lots of interesting features within the property, and lots of other facilities within a short walk and still on the farm complex, ie gym, swimming pool, table tennis, snooker & pool table, stable next door if you want to go horse riding. Property owner very helpful with route to take for dog walking. Mullion village only 10 mins walk with dog, and there is a Boots chemist & Spar convienince store, & Pub, & fish & chip shop.

We had a fantastic week! The house, location and facilities are all superb. We spent the week watching the horses, swimming in the pool and hot tub and driving to local villages and beaches. It was perfect for both us as adults and our children. We have all made memories that will last a lifetime.

We had a lovely stay at Valley View, accommodation was spotless and very comfortable and well kitted out. Facilities on site were great too, we tried everything at least once and were lucky enough to have the pool to ourselves each time we used it so didn't matter how loud or splashy the games got. Owners very friendly and helpful. It was very warm while we were there but being on the top of a hill there was always a breeze blowing so house stayed comfortable throughout our stay. Our son also went horse riding at the adjoined stables & had a lovely time with Copper Thanks for a great holiday

Amazing everything was spotless

A lovely holiday home that has everything you need to holiday, great facilities, private hot tub, shared swimming pool, gym & gamesrooms, even horse riding on your doorstep, 2 pubs within walking distance. Great location for visiting Mullion, The Lizard and the surrounding area. We visited with our family and their partners, all thoroughly enjoyed their stay in the spacious holiday home.

Wow!! Valley view is a fabulous cottage ! We have just stayed there for a week and we all agree that its the best cottage weve ever stayed it. It feels very luxurious, the owner has thought of all the details and it is well equipped. From bottle openers to a bag of equipment for playing football, darts and tennis, literally everything has been thought of! It is set on a riding school and so my daughters loved watching the horses. We were even able to make a booking for a private riding lesson which my daughter loved! The facilities are fantastic. The family loved the swimming pool which is warm and so clean!, the snooker room and playing in the sports hall. Evenings were spent in the private hot tub looking at the stars. I cannot recommend this cottage enough. The owners are so friendly. We were warmly greeted, showed around all the facilities and even introduced us to the riding school. Weve had a fabulous week and will definitely return!
