Verdo House, Blackpool

Lovely pleasant house that suited our needs for a family of 12 gathering very well. Well kitted out. Ideal location in quiet area close to South Pier and easy transport to get around the area without use of car. Key code given was not correct and some details in the house brouchure need updating. It was missing things like bin bags, kitchen roll, enough toilet roll, t towels and washing up cloth etc. We had a pobnlem with one shower which was quickly resolved by the owner. There maybe a drain problem re smell in back kitchen that needs checking out.

Great property in excellent location. Each bedroom has its own en suite and there's a seperate toilet at the top of the stairs. Lovely living dining room with a large dining table and comfortable sofa. Didn't do any cooking, so can't comment on kitchen, but appeared to be well stocked with a large fridgefreezer. Perfect for our girls weekend away.

Very impressed with the house upon walking in the door. The lounge was large with beautiful furniture and a huge table and plenty of chairs. The kitchen and utility had everything you need including washing machine and dishwasher, an American style fridge freezer, and large cooker. The children were also catered for with toys and books. The beds were very comfortable and each room had a tv and bathroom with a shower. The only letdown in the property was the cleanliness of the bathroom. The window sill and skirting needed a good clean. The toilet and the brushes left a lot to be desired! Cleaners please note! !!! It didn't spoil our holiday and we are not being picky but please don't let the lovely owner down in such a beautiful house. Ps. A dustpan and brush would be handy if you have little children!

The property was spotless A number of small issues was brought to the attention of the owner and largely dealt with We enjoyed our stay There are 3 issues which detract from the property. 1 No downstairs toilet. Its a long climb to ones bedroom. 2. No recycling bin and only 1 general bin which was full when we arrived and then we left it full 3. Which can not be addressed but there were 6 adults and 7 children in our group and there was only 1 communal space. Nowhere to escape from the noise

This house is in a perfect location for the all blackpool attractions and the beach. .but be security conscious we did have a man posing as a maintenance worker walk in while we were unloading our car.There is nothing complimentary supplied at this property and no cleaning equipment you will need hand soaps, kitchen roll,dish cloths,dishwasher tabs ,bin linners & pedal bin liners , dust pan and brush , universal remote for tvs, toilet cleaner. If you need refreshments when you arrive recommend Just eat less than 15 minutes every time arrives hot and give you free food on orders over 10

Beautifully laid out, everything was sparkling clean, well above our expectations, on road parking with 2 council parking badges, 2 mins walk from ocean world and the trams. had a great time at Verdo House, we had 5 grand kids with us and they loved the house as well, and they also loved getting a macdonalds delivered as we are in a very riural setting at home. we would stay here again and would highly recommend Verdo House.1010 for everything.

We arrived at property 420pm after 4 hour drive, the cleaners were still cleaning the property. They did apologise but after a 4 hour drive we had to sit in the car for another 15 minutes to enter the property. We all got in and settled in our rooms to discover there's no toilet roll in the property! Off l went to the corner shop for toilet rolls.. Apart from theses hiccups we all enjoyed our stay at Verdo House...

Excellent location very near to pleasure beach, beach, south pier, tramway and beach. clean and tidy and comfortable. We did have a problem with heating but we informed the owner and a technician was sent and the problem was sorted out expediently. Lots of room and well equipped. Thank you for the stay.
