Stunning accommodation set in a beautiful location. Booking and arriving were simplicity itself with Ffion making contact via text and making it obvious she was available for any issues and backing it up by helping when we left an item behind. The house itself is immaculate and superbly equipped. Only slight point would be some form of wardrobes in bedrooms. Not an issue for a 2 night stay but for longer it would be good to have hanging space etc. Everything else was just about perfect, we absolutely loved it. Would 100 stay again and recommend to anyone.
Fabulous private property, well kept, comfy beds and pillows. Super host, responded quickly to any minor issues. Dog friendly downstairs. Very narrow lanes, we loved it, beautiful location.

Whitehouse was a beautiful house in gorgeous surroundings. Very calm & peaceful. Sheep, lambs & cows in the adjacent fields. The su sets were amazing. We were met by the host who was very welcoming & kindly left us some farm milk & eggs. The downstairs room & ensuite was definitely a helpful addition for those with mobility issues although a little colder than the rest of the house. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with plenty of everything to accommodate 9 guests. The living areas & bedrooms were all clean & comfortable & the children & dogs made welcome. Extra touches such as dressing gowns & dog beds were supplied which will save future guests bri ging there own. We had a couple of small issues during our stay but Ffion was available and tried to find a resolution as soon as possible. Whitehouse is perfect for a relaxing comfortable break, we had a great time & I would certainly recommend this property. Thank you Ffion for being a lovely host whilst we stayed at Whitehouse.

We stay every year with Skyes cottages The White House was very comfortable and was well equipped. The situation was excellent for walks. The were a couple of things that need attention in the house but nothing that would stop us staying here again . The owner came to say hello and make sure we had everything we needed for our stay.

We had such a lovely weekend with our family at The Whitehouse to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The house was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location is idyllic. It was lovely of the owners to come and say hello. I would definitely recommend this property.

Having been to Several Sykes propertys all good the White House was by far the best. The property was in an excellent location with stunning views if you like it quite.the house itself was in was very very clean and spotless with every thing you could require.the beds were very comfortable and the on suite showers very good.could have done with some grab rails in ground floor on suite showers for disabled help. Log burner got living space lovely and warm on the night we used it. Thank you to ffion for rescuing us when our sat nav took us wrong and coming out and taking us to the house. It was lovely after a day out just watching the sheep while we had our evening meal. The family even named some of them.thank you again for wonderful stay in your superb house could not wish for better and no matter where we go again this will take some beating. C
A holiday home that feels like a proper lived in home. The quality of the fixtures & fittings was excellent. The peace & views made it a memorable week.
Absolutely lovely cottage, very clean and modern. Downstairs bedroom with ensuite was perfect for our dad who cant do stairs. Loved the local area, we were lucky to be there when Montgomery had their street fair. Also thank you to Ffion for arranging flowers and balloon for my sisters birthday.
Beautiful big house in the most peaceful location. So relaxing being able to sit and watch the sheep and cows grazing in the fields as well as all the little sparrows coming to sit on the fence. Our favorite place was to sit at the table with the doors open just looking out at the view. Lots of space for everyone and it has everything you could need. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all lovely and tastefully decorated and the whole house was spotless. A great place to stay if you are in the area

White House is a gorgeous property and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there! The views are stunning and the house is warm and cosy. The owner Ffion was really friendly and helpful. 100 recommend!
We absolutely loved our stay at White House. We were a large group of adults, toddlers, dogs and 4 cars, but there was plenty of room. It's a stylish wellappointed house but also very functional, warm and comfortable. The open plan layout provides a sociable living area, there are plenty of bathrooms and a good sized utility room for dogs, wellies etc. The kitchen is very well equipped. We had beautiful spring weather, and the outside space is brilliant for toddlers and dogs. The views from the house and garden are beautiful the patio has sun almost all day, and the children loved watching the lambs in the field next door. There was a delicious welcome pack of local milk, eggs and Welsh cakes, and Ffion, the owner was very helpful. The area is lovely rolling countryside extremely peaceful and quiet. We can't wait to go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the White House. Lovely house with amazing views of the Welsh countryside. Local farm eggs and milk in your welcome pack and you can collect more just down the road. Definitely a recommendation! Made the most of the walks in the surrounding area. Friendly hosts and would love to stay again.

We had a most excellent stay at the White House, it really is in a beautiful part of this country, scenic, peaceful, surrounded by nature, and with far reaching views. Close to Montgomery, Newtown and Welshpool with an abundance of pubs and restaurants to try. Its a dog friendly property which we really appreciated, with fencing and gates so they can roam freely to their hearts content. Nice personal touches including dog bed, blankets, towels and bowls. Some wonderful touches for us humans, including dressing gowns, toiletries and the owner Ffion checking in personally with us.
This place was beautiful! Such a lovely setting, and an amazing well equipped and well appointed house. Everything from the kitchen facilities down to the final touches in the rooms and bathrooms exceeded expectations. As we stayed over the festive period, the owners even put up lovely Christmas decorations. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at The White House, our second visit there. The house is beautiful and very well equipped to a high standard. We visited in November and the underfloor heating was a real treat. The hosts were lovely, they left us some fresh bread and milk.and popped in to check we'd arrived ok and see if we needed anything. Highly recommend The White House.
I read other online reviews before booking this property, a lot was written about the comfort and facilities of it. What wasn't mentioned so much was the outlook. The house is in the middle of fields with just cows and sheep for company. The views are stunning. Simply wonderful!

What an amazing property which me and my friends 8 adults enjoyed over the new year break. The views were stunning and it was a perfect place for our murder mystery night and new year celebrations. Would highly recommend.
