15 Hardwick Street Reviews

Darren
A fantastic holiday home in Weymouth which is only a couple of minutes walk from the beach. Matt, the host is very approachable and pointed us in the right direction for some lovely fish and chips Make sure you are aware of the parking restrictions, we had a couple of blue badge holders but couldn't even use them outside the house, however it didn't affect our stay we just had to plan when we needed the cars. Everything you could need from a home from home!
Spent Christmas here with a family of 9 6 adults, 3 children aged 7, 4 & 1. Our host, Matt, was incredibly helpful and accommodating with our booking process. We had a wonderful Christmas break at the house, which was spacious, comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home. It was fully equipped with everything we needed to make our stay memorable. Thank you for such a fantastic experience!

Excellent accommodation plenty of room for the 9 of us plus one dog. All the appliances you need were there. Close to beach 5mins walk. Shops pubs cafes all within short walking distances. Only problem we had was the tv , the netflix station didn't work for kids but did not spoil the holiday one bit. Highly recommend. Les

The change to the parking turned out alright, but threw us a bit at the beginning. It was unfortunate that there were not enough toilet rolls provided. Having to buy some when on holiday is a nuisance. Also, I had to swap the hand soap so that we didnt run out.
Main shower used once as it made a horrific noise , not sure if it was an airlock ! With 8 adults you can imagine , but luckily we only had a short stay !
The property was perfect for our family. Warm, cosy and clean. The owner was really helpful and very responsive. I even noted a brand new, unopened pizza cutter so clearly responsive to the feedback left by previous guests too!

This property was a good choice. Close to the sea and shops and all the local amenities. Catered for all our needs and allowed 2 dogs in the property.

A lovely property furnished with the right mix of home touches to make it more than just an holiday let. We all spoke about negatives of the property, the best we got was lack of a pizza cutter, if that's all we've got the owners have got something right

Wow... .an amazing holiday home!! I have 6 children 2 of which have autism, it's so important to find a home from home and this has everything from space to play to an Xbox with games to play. All the children thoroughly enjoyed the week, the location is perfect a short walk to beach, town, train, pubs etc. Host quick to respond to any queries and very understanding about noisy children! We are definitely going back in the summer, one of the best holiday homes we've been to 1010. Two dogs came with us a Pomeranian & Suluki cross they had enough space to feel comfortable, garden is good, one of my son's played football alot and no noise complaints. Thank you so much for an amazing holiday stay!!
Well appointed house in residential area close to beach. It is a 10 minute stroll along prom to the busier part of the beach where you will find the donkeys, small fair rides and a bit further there are more rides and towards the pavillion a larger fair. It's about a 20 minutes walk to the bustling harbour where you will find bars and places to eat. Over the bridge to more eateries and the Brewers Quay. You will find the boat rides this side too. Walking the other way takes you to lovely gardens with a cafe and live music on Sundays. This side is more upmarket and the beach is half pebble and sand. The sea is shallow and calm and perfect for little ones. The house is 3 storey with an exceptionally large bathroom. A lovely big shower enclosure with glass door. The outdoor space is decked with table, chairs and loungers and is a good sun trap. The downstairs shower room and toilet is under the stairs and does have a musty aroma but it is clean although none of us used this shower. The bedrooms vary in size the largest being on the 1st floor which overlooks the street which can be a bit noisy when folk going home. As mentioned in previous reviews the rooms do not have wardrobes, except for top floor where one is on landing. However there are strong rails with plenty of hangers. Unfortunately no drawers in bedrooms on 1st floor only bedside cabinets so tshirts etc either out of case or on floor. There were 6 adults and 1 toddler staying for a fortnight in total and the house suited us well. A bonus was the paid parking in the Swannery car park which is about 10 minutes away. Would recommend you take earplugs though, the dawn chorus if seagulls is very loud.
This was a really beautiful house, which had so many lovely features. It was described by one of the children as like staying in Narnia the house just kept getting bigger the further you went into it! The bathroom was particularly spectacular. All the bedrooms were a great size. The back yard was perfect for sitting in the evening. It is in a really convenient place for all parts of Weymouth, beaches, harbour, shops, RSPB reserves, Sea life centre and would be very good for anyone arriving by train. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Matt was extremely helpful with regards the parking permits, which was a real bonus for the stay. We would definitely come back again.

Beautiful house in close proximity to the fantastic beach. Stunning 4 bedroom house in Weymouth, beautifully decorated with absolutely everything you could possibly need its like home from home. The bedrooms are amazing all with TVs and lovely comfortable beds. Huge bathroom with separate bath and shower and 2nd shower and toilet downstairs. Beautiful modern fitted kitchen. Garden is a fabulous area where you can just chill after a long day at the beach or sip drinks in the evening when the kids have settled down. A 5 min walk to the beautiful beach. Matt the owner is amazing and will go out of his way to help you, we accidently left some luggage behind and he is arranging to get it returned to us he really is going above and beyond. Highly recommend this property, we were a family of 7 adults and 2 children and shall definitely return.
Ideal for a family get together. Just a short walk to the beach. Great to have a car pass for a very close car park. Would throughly recommend to others.
We had a lovely stay for my Mum's 70th birthday. The house was nice and spacious and accommodated 2 families well. We had direct contact with the owner while we were there who was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was well equipt and we were able to make use of the outdoor space. The location was fantastic and you can walk to the beach in minutes and also to the station. As mentioned in the listing the parking permit is for a car park 10 mins walk away, but you are able to park for an hour on the street to unload so that wasn't a problem for us.

FELT LIKE HOME FROM HOME ESSENTIALLY Personally, I love and know Weymouth and surrounding area. The house we stayed in was excellent with all the amenities and more Towels provided which was a great help Brought cleaning products which was not a problem There is so much to do and visit if one wanted an active holiday which my family and I did. walks around Weymouth, the beach, the harbour, Portland, Nothe Forte fantastic Plenty of great restaurants and takeouts if wanted. Of course, fish and chips excellent all round Shopping area brilliant. The house was situated in a very accessible area and place. Plenty of parking available. Took our recycling to bins on the beach front. Would have done recycling from the house if bins available but understand some holiday makers not do that A brilliant stay and enjoyed thoroughly celebrating my 60th with my family in Weymouth Went Abbotsbury Swannery, Subtropical Gardens, Durdle Door and then back to Weymouth for my actual birthday My daughters and partners were stunned with the views we saw on our travels and we all managed the walk down to and up from Durdle Door Looked at Lulworth Cove Dorset is a beautiful county to visit I wish I could live there

Nice house in a good location, easy to walk to the town and beach. The space was modern and comfortable, with large TVs in every room! The parking was fine, always spaces available in The Swannery car park and only a short walk to the house. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
Really lovely house very close to the beach. As my son said, the first holiday house we've been to that felt like a home Very well stocked with helpful little things you may have forgotten to bring, or just to make your stay easier, and a really helpful owner. We enjoyed it!
Lynnette
Fabulous holiday home with everything you need. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Owner accessible and helpful although we only contacted him once to enquire about car park passes. I guess the only slight negative if Im looking for one is that you have to leave your car in a public car park permit supplied which is a short walk from the property. You are however able to park for one hour outside the house to loadunload your luggage. The house is close to the beach and a nice steady stroll to the town centreharbour is about 15 20 minutes. Overall a great holiday home central enough to everything you need but tucked away so its nice and quiet. Even the weather was kind to us!
Richard
This house is very well appointed and met all our expectations. There was no need to take drying up cloths as they were supplied plus all the facilities were available that you would expect. Its an easy walk to town and bars and restaurants are not far away. 4 bedrooms with 3 doubles and a single with bunks and a single means its ideal for families. Will definitely return and love Weymouth as there is something for everyone there. Neighbours offered support about restaurants nearby and very friendly so would highly recommend this house
