Accomodation feedback A wonderful gem of an apartment tucked away in a central location close to all amenities of the town. We just paid for parking which was only 6 for the whole day and made it a lot more convenient to have our car right by the back garden entrance. Only slight improvements could be made one top window in the lounge doesn't close properly, the toilet seat wobbles a bit and the oven door could do with a clean. It would be useful to have directions on recycling but we worked this out for ourselves. Thank you for a lovely stay. We were new to Perranporth and the weather wasn't so kind to us this time which means we're definitely planning a return stay to get the most out of the area! Sykes feedback We have stayed with Sykes before and had wonderful experiences. Sadly the automated support services really let you down this time. We booked late just four days before travel so we could not access the App settings. We really needed to request a twin room set up for our children. I tried to email and got no response. I called lots of times and the longest I waited was 20 minutes on hold before giving up. The Whattsapp auto chat responded to say we had already checked in when we hadn't arrived yet. It asked if my query was resolved and I said 'no' then got no further response. The zip link bed was set as a double as expected so we had to sort it out ourselves. A little disappointing service when we've been so happy before.

We had a good stay overall at this apartment. The place is clean, modern, and feels very welcoming as soon as you walk in. The kitchen is particularly well stocked, which made cooking and staying in very convenient. There are just a few areas that could be improved. The sofa bed in the living room wasnt very comfortable, and unfortunately the duvets provided didnt quite match or seem properly prepared for that bed. Also, for a group of six people staying two nights, having only one toilet roll was a bit insufficient. That said, aside from these small issues, we really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is well presented and has a nice, fresh feel to it.

What a lovely holiday flat! Stylish, clean and comfortable with an excellent shower, we so enjoyed our stay. The location is great with everything on the doorstep. Would it be possible to let us know the make of the pillows as they were particularly comfortable?

Absolutely fantastic apartment! Spotlessly clean, very well equipped, great central location. Stylish too

We stayed at 36A Mary Street for a week while we were having work carried out on our property nearby. The property was well equipped and clean. The location is fantastic. We felt really at home here, and we wouldnt hesitate staying here again!
The apartment was very spacious, clean and well presented. The location was ideal close to all the amenities. Whilst it did not cause us an issue the external stairs accessing the apartment could cause some guest a problem.
Hi. Overall the flat was lovely as was the location, great shower. I would have given a 5 for comfort but the double bed seems to be two singles which meant the gapcrease detracted from the comfort of the sleep. The other issue that impacted on my score for maintenance etc. was the water leaking in the front room when it rained. The owner is aware and is sorting it out. It was difficult to open the Juliet balcony door the handle and lock were tricky and the lock on the front door had me worried that I wouldnt be able to get back in a few times. There did not seem to be any clear arrangements for recycling which I found disappointing in the current situation and so I had to take a lot of it home with me or put it in the general waste
We very much enjoyed our stay at 36 Mary street. The property is in a great central location! Comfortable and clean with everything you could need supplied, nice decor and plenty of space. The shower was excellent and the property had washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen was well equipped, the only minor issue frying pan need to be replaced, its old and we struggled to use it. Otherwise everything was great! Thank you so much! Highly recommend.

Everything was lovely and the inside of the property is really nicely decorated with practical little touches like tin foil and washing up liquid that are always a faff to get whilst on holiday. Parking was easier than expected, if you park after 6pm the car park is free until 8am and I was always able to find a spot on the surrounding roads Gordon Road and adjoining roads were good for this. I went for a surf trip and it's just a 5 minute drive to rest bay. There's also plenty of room in the shower for your wetsuit and a few nice surf shops in walking distance. Coffee Corner does the best coffee by a distance!

Beautiful, clean , just everything you need .
The apartment was lovely and in an ideal location close to the shops and sea front. It was decorated lovely for Xmas an nice and clean. We did have a couple of issues. First the tumble dryer didn't work which was one of the reasons we went for this apartment. Having a dog and children there's always washing. Second the sofa in the lounge and the spare duvet in the boxes had a huge red blood stain on there so this couldn't be used. Third when I was changing in the bedroom an my kids were in the living area watching the dog, the cleaner walked right into our apartment as they turned up the wrong day. I think by the door being open and all our stuff I'm the kitchen area they would have known we hadn't left. It's only lucky our dog is friendly seeing a stranger walk in like that. Overall we enjoyed our stay accept for the issues above. We would stay again but would enquire about the tumble dryer and blood stain before booking to ensure this is resolved. Thanks Katie
A lovely apartment very spacious, well decorated throughout and right in the middle of town. It would have been good to have some literature about dustbins and recycling as we were keen to help with the maintenance of this. Otherwise we had a great stay and would certainly return. The sunsets at Porthcawl are magic!

Lovely apartment. Everything close by. Lovely comfortable beds. Had everything we needed in property. Will definitely book again
I loved staying here it was close enough to children's entertainment, shops and seafront everything you needed for a comfortable stay was there . It was very large and the children also enjoyed the accommodation.I would like to make a suggestion only because I am a very keen in to recycling and is that a laminate on the wall about recycling bin and normal bin day as I missed them both .Last notes is about parking which we found very easy and convenient its possible to park very close to unpack reasonable charges, also liked the key arrangements which was super easy both arrival and departure. Would definitely recommend to my family and friends all in all great stay x

The apartment was near perfect for our stay in every way. It was very comfortable, clean and spacious in an ideal location within walking distance to the town 1 min, Aldi 5 mins and beach 5 mins. The main bedroom was big enough for our next to me to easily fit next to the bed with thick dark curtains. The shower was excellent and the property had washing and drying machine available. We did a lot of cooking and would have liked some non stick pans but its no big deal. We did find there was no cupboard space at all for shopping but at least the fridge freezer was a good size. Also there are steep metal stairs to gain access to the property so carrying baby and push chair up was difficult but this was well documented on the listing so knew about it before hand. There is a public car park behind the property that charges between 812 then 36pm. I was spending about 5.50 a day on parking as I didnt want to park on the main road at the front mainly because there wasnt a designated spot and no access from the front of the property. We would definitely come back here again!!
The apartment was very stylish, comfortable, very well located in centre of town close to shops, restaurants and the see front could not have wished for better location. The apartment was well kitted out, and very clean on arrival, which is always great to find. The place as exactly as I saw on photos at the time of booking. so all in all very pleasant stay. Couple small comments it would be great if the oven was cleaned out and it had an extra baking tray. The property description should note available at time of booking that there is a set of narrow steps to get in this could not be welcomed by everyone. Last it would be good to get a little bit more information with the carparking arrangements, e.g. access through paid car park at the time when access to keys is shared just as a curtesy thing.

The access via exterior staircase is challenging. The instructions to the keysafe is confusing saying that the front door is where it is, yet the front door is not on the front of the building! We only stayed one night but were pleased with the standards within the let.
We really enjoyed our stay here over the New Year period and have already booked to stay again! We are familiar with the area having lived here many years ago and still have family that we visit nearby so knew that Porthcawl is a great location to stay. The apartment is extremely spacious, clean and toasty warm, it's also well equipped with lovely fixtures and furnishings which made our stay during the awful weather we had over New Year very comfortable and cosy. Our adult sons joined us for a few days and there was plenty of room to accommodate 4 adults without getting in each others way. Plenty of places to eat out or grab a takeaway in the town and when the weather allows there are fantastic coastal walks. We did find it a bit tricky to locate the rear entrance at first as it was dark when we arrived, for future guests the entrance and car parking is situated in John Street car park signposted at the bottom of the road and can be entered off Mary Street. Parking was readily available throughout our stay and we were able to park right outside the back gate entrance. Its a quick cut through on foot to the main street in the town for shopping and food supplies with a large Coop just around the corner and an Aldi a 10 minute walk. Our young adult sons had the novelty of ordering coffee and breakfast rolls on the Greggs app and nipping down to collect in minutes D we live rurally so this was novelty to them! Its also worth noting that the walk along the front to Rest Bay and enjoying refreshments at the Cafe Bar with panoramic views across the bay is a must. Thankyou for providing us with super accomodation.
