Bedingfield House, Debenham

A fabulous property, fully equipped with everything that you need. Lovely touches like nice pictures, quality fixtures and fitting. Excellent 15m pool, games lounge was brilliant. Everything is provided, including swimming towels. The extensive grounds are well kept and lovely. The owners have put a lot into this property. Nearby villages just a few minutes away with pubs and Indian takeaways etc.

Wonderful house, well presented, extremely well appointed and equipped with a fantastic pool and entertainment area. We were a group of 13, including 5 children aged between 6 and 13 years old, and we all had a fantastic weekend break. We would highly recommend the property and will definitely return!

A fantastic property for our family celebration with three generations all having a great stay. The grandchildren loved the pool and cycling on the driveway without worrying about obstacles in their way. A truly wonderful week!

We had a fantastic weekend at this amazing house. Three generations celebrating my sons 40th birthday. My kids and grandkids had so much fun in the pool and we were blessed with wonderful weather and so made full use of the beautiful grounds surrounding the property. Very well equiped and maintained house. We will definitely return.

We travelled just 4. 6 miles from home, but felt a world away. We are holiday let owners and can see how much thought and work has gone into the property. It is beautifully equipped, stylish and very comfortable. We were a family party of 3 generations & it suited us all. We rarely have time to spend time altogether. Being local we didn't come to explore Suffolk we spent the time in the pool, playing games and catching up. There was plenty of space in the fridge freezer for the meals we had prepared.Thank you Diane for such a memorable stay.

My review is in two halves. Most importantly the property was outstanding in every way and made the perfect venue for a multi generation family celebration. I wish I could have contacted the properly caretakerowner directly to find more details prior to arrival. It would have left me feeling much happier about the booking rather than anxious. However, Sykes Cottages were totally unhelpful and I will not use them or recommend them to anyone. In particular making contact was a nightmare involving waits of over 24hours and then very inadequate responses. If you are investing serious amounts in a short stay I would have expected a half decent level of customer service.

We had a wonderful weekend it was lovely . The cottage was amazing nice and clean everything we needed . The pool was amazing we had a lot of fun in it .

The house was even more spacious than it looked in the pictures. It was perfect for 4 couples as there was plenty of space to spread out and not be on top of each other. The pool was amazing as was the games room. All the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Every amenity was catered for and the fabulous views and walks from the property was the icing on the cake

The house exceeded our expectations, it absorbed our mixed aged three generation family from 21 months to 70 years very well and was very well equipped. The barfamily room with access to the pool was fantastic and then two other cosy rooms for people to have a quiet time if needed. We had an amazing Christmas and the house was decorated for Christmas including 3 Christmas trees, would definitely book again for another family gathering

We had the best stay at Bedingfield House. It was a great lay out and perfect for a large family celebration. Great that we could all be together. The only one thing we all struggled with is finding the house, as the sat nav took us to the farm at the back. In the dark we couldnt find the entrance with the black gate, as this was not lit up

This was my second time staying at this property, first with girlfriends and this recent time was to celebrate my Husbands 40th, each time this house gets more special it is the perfect house for hosting friends and family. The house is so well equipped. The pool is absolutely amazing. So many memories made & I cant wait to come back again.

We had an amazing time at Bedingfield House. It exceeded even our wildest expectations. With 9 adults and 4 children we had ample space in a comfortable environment. There was plenty to keep everyone occupied but the 'winner' was the diving board at the swimming pool.

We were a party of 10 adults, 3 children and 2 dogs and were so excited for our weekend away together, and this house exceeded our expectations. So well equipped, comfortable beds, the games roombar and swimming pool were the highlight and so well used, beautiful gardens, completely secluded and the perfect place to shut off and enjoy time as a family. We loved it so much we booked again for next year while we were still there. Cannot fault this house at all, amazing

Wow. The house is huge, clean and provides everything that you need. The bedrooms are huge and a travel cot can fit in any of them. The pool is lovely and warm and no worries about the temperature for my 9 month old Granddaughter. Lots and lots of space inside and out. 4 generations of our family stayed and we all loved it. Diane is a lovely lady who responds quickly if messaged. Nothing was too much trouble for her.

A great property for large families, with quite space when the grandkids get too much. Good facilities, super pool, and places to go visit.

Bedingfield House is absolutely perfect for a stay with friends or family. The grounds are beautiful and we had warm sunny weather so the outside decking and patio area for a BBQ were wonderful. It is so peaceful. We loved inside the house. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the number of bathrooms suited our group of 11 girls. The downstairs party room was fabulous. A wonderful bar, generous seating and a pool table. Plenty of room for dancing!! There are two lounges, both of which give room to be quiet and relax. The kitchen has everything you need and more! A separate utility room and pantry. What can I say about the pool? Its warm and a generous size for lengths or just having fun. Perfect area with sun lounges that can be taken outside onto the large decking. Theres table tennis here too. Highly recommend a stay here.

The whole family had a fabulous week celebrating a special birthday at Bedingfield House. Couldnt fault it. Everything we wanted and more.

This was our second stay at Bedingfield House and it was as good as the first time. The house was immaculate and there was everything there that you could possibly need. We made good use of the pool and predominantly used the games room, however we had a week this time so did make more use of the 2 sitting rooms which were lovely. We would definitely look to stay again.

We now come back every year to this wonderful house! Thoroughly recommend it!

A beautiful home, we spent 5 days there with our newly wedded daughter, my parents celebrating their 60th anniversary, our son celebrating his 10th anniversary, the children loved the pool, plenty of space however we all hung out mainly in the games room. We did not want to leave, there is absolutely nothing negative to say!

Fabulous property and grounds. .. and the swimming pool loved by all. Almost every provision thoughtfully supplied, much appreciated attention to detail. Pool table a great addition to this years stay! 'Bedhouse' as we call it, caters for our three generations, to enjoy some precious family time away together. I would mention another large sofa in the lounge may be an idea, as 14 of us but only 9 can be comfortably seated together. Also, no clothes hanging space in downstairs bedroom. Only complaint was Aga unexpectedly not working on arrival, and we brought convenience food for our first evening, of 14 fresh pizzas and sides... impossible to cook in one conventional oven, so our first meal was a disaster! Also, there was a problem with the heating, and we were cold much of the time, as almost October and temperatures had dropped.

A great property, ideal for our team who were the area for training and team building, highly recommend for families, something for everyone, great facilities with the added bonus of the pool.

Had a wonderful time huge, comfortable property perfect for large multi generational family gathering. The pool is brilliant and the garden beautiful. Great attention to detail with generous treats included and fabulous fully equipped kitchen. Many thanks for the Prosecco and beer which certainly contributed to our enjoyment.

Wonderful property which was loved by us all. Would have liked a small wardrobe or hanging rail in downstairs bedroom. I am somewhat disabled so the ability to grab things from a standing position would have been helpful in the shower. Overall no complaints especially from the grandchildren who of course loved the swimming and the men who had a great time at the pool table. Thank you for a great stay.

An excellent house, it was an amazing week

2nd9th August 2024 A 4 generation family holiday a beautifully clean and well equipped spacious home with everything we could wished for included. A personal favourite was the bar room and the pool which was a huge hit. The beds were super comfortable for all we honestly cant complain about anything. A 5 star stay and we will definitely love to return, thank you so much from the Astons and Knights family xxx

Generally excellent and the pool is wonderful, as is the games room with its bar and drinks fridge, pool table and other games. Lot's of space, inside and out, with enough for different members of our party to be together or apart 2 TV's. A bit remote, with the nearest shops in Debenham 10 15 minutes away by car, and no walkable pubs etc. but a great base for exploring the treasures of Suffolk, and North Essex, eg Framlingham, Aldeburgh, Lavenham, and Bury St Edmunds, although the latter is about an hour away. Don't bother with Southwold it's mobbed out in peak season and not that great.

We booked Bedingfield House for a family get together for our Golden Wedding Anniversary and two birthdays, on arrival we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the property especially the pool which the grandkids couldnt wait to get into, facilities are great and luxurious which is what we were expecting. Has a wonderful week, weather was good for a change but we spent most of the week swimming and Barbecuing. Met the lady owner who was very helpful in directing us through the farm yard when we were leaving as the main road was closed. We all thought that the photos of Bedingfield House dont give it justice so maybe a revisit to your advertising would be an idea. Young granddaughters cried when we left, says it all,

Fabulous property, all the little touches made for a lovely stay. Owners made us feel welcome and relaxed. The house is brilliant for a large party loads to do. Comfy bedssofas , beautiful setting. Couldnt ask for more.

Wonderful house, very, very comfortable. We had a water leak dripping from the ceiling and the owner was there very soon to deal with it Sunday am and a plumber came the next morning. The gardens are lovely. We chose this house to have a big family party and there was room for everyone. It's a huge house with plenty to do, We would love to go back. As it's an old house there's steps at some of the doors.

Bedingfield house far exceeded our expectations with the added touch of welcome chocolates and drinks. Clean and spacious rooms in beautiful gardens with great social spaces, we particularly loved the barpool area with a pool table and table tennis too. During our stay we had great weather so enjoyed lots of al fresco dining and put on a birthday afternoon tea so the very well equipped kitchen came in handy. There are a couple of public footpaths directly from the property that we used for dog walks and we also had a few day trips to nearby towns.

Very comfortable beds. Warm. Pool amazing. Facilities excellent. A couple of house guests who cook commented knives needed sharpening if that's useful feedback! But we were really happy with everything. Thank you so much. And the weather was fabulous too! On my birthday they organised a chef to cook for us. Maybe you could offer as an idea??

We had the most amazing time at Bedingfield House. The pictures don't do it justice. The pool is incredible, great size, deep enough for diving, warm and clean. The rooms were all a decent size. The house is well equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed it more than some holidays abroad and plan on visiting again!

The best holiday property we have rented. Very spacious and accommodates all age groups. The swimming pool and entertainment room were in constant use.
