Cladach Cottage Reviews

We have stayed at this house several times and find it really cosy and central to all facilities in Seahouses. This stay I felt the house needs a bit of TLC and is looking tired. Sofa is shabby, kitchen units are shabby, the bathroom window handle was broken so it wouldnt open. There was also some stains on the bed sheet, that was very disappointing. I hope that these things get sorted so it can remain a nice place to stay
Nice property in a great location.

The cottage was cold, and the outdated heating needs to be replaced. The hot water boiler was leaking, and water was all over the back lane. The cottage was clean and well equipped and handy for all local amenities. Would probably visit again.
An excellent place to stay Quiet street just a short walk from shops, harbour and restaurants in Seahouses. The cottage is spacious, bright and very comfortable. Everything you need for a great stay.
Fourth time at Cladach cottage and never disappoints, always very clean and comfortable, kitchen has everything you need, location is perfect close to shops, bars and restaurants, only thing I would change is double bed would be preferred in 2nd bedroom but that is our personal preference. Will return
Lovely cottage , disappointing about the seafield swimming pool not included,it was one of the reasons for booking. .all the literature was there..but still had good week.

This property has a good central location and benefits from a parking space. However, it is somewhat tired and in need of a good deep clean and thorough maintenance review. There was a very strong smell of air freshener in the property seemingly covering the smell of smoking or similar. The floors were not properly cleaned. The mattresses of the bunk beds and twin beds are in need of replacement. The tv remote did not really work ?new batteries. Only 3 wine glasses, only 4 kitchen chairs for a house that sleeps 6.
Lovely house, beautifully furnished, warm and very welcoming, ideally situated.

We had a great time staying at cladach cottage everything we needed for a great break in seahouses close to the harbour, shops, and pubs really comfortable, and clean cottage.
House was full of cobwebs, big dirty ones, drawers full of crumbs, dishwasher didn't work properly and was mucky, house needed a good top to toe. Pictures, mirrors and tops of things were covered in thick dust, under bunks was filthy, skirting, sockets and switches dusty, under mattresses is gross, mould on window area in middle bedroom, seat pads in kitchen I removed as they were filthy, sofa and soft furnishings need cleaning, black muck around shower cubicle which is far too small for shower, stained bedding and towels, slugs get in back door as there's trails across the mat area, can't use front door as overgrown outside, back yard needs clearing, wood all Iver and broken bunker to deal with, windows and blinds FILTHY. I paid a lot of money to be on holiday and I was annoyed. I have emailed you twice and been ignored. You need to be checking these houses and pulling the cleaners so they do better. I don't pay for a holiday in a mucky house. Charging top end prices and no home comfort. My house is spotless and I expect the same on holiday. Light in main bedroom flickers constantly, electrics tripped multiple times, radiator in kitchen needs replacing, the radiators upstairs didn't come on, only the living room and hallway, found hair in the bedding as well. I suggest you check your emails as I sent the first one ln the 14th.

Lovely cottage. Everything was there that we required for our stay. Very comfortable stay for a week of relaxation.
Just a shame there was no book to write how lovely it was and that we all had a wonderful time. The weather was drier than expected but cold so had a fire each evening which made the place toasty. Comfy bed and sofa and saw the northern lights one night too. Would highly recommend
Despite Storm Babet we had a lovely cosy time in this cottage. Its clean comfortable and had everything we needed, would highly recommend. Car parking a bit tight for larger cars but this shouldnt detract from this fabulous cottage.
The property is comfortable and well equipped and in an ideal location for the beach and the town.

Second year at Cladach Cottage. We love Seahouses and this cottage has everything you need to have a great stay. Clean and comfortable, with shops, beach and pubs close by.
We really loved this cottage, the location was great and it was very homely. The style of decoration was tasteful throughout and the bed was really comfortable. Lovely to have a big mirror in the bedroom, great sized bath. The kitchen is a fantastic size meaning we had plenty of room for our dogs as we have very large crate.
Beautiful cottage in great location. Very close to shops and two pubs at the end of the street. Very well equipped. Comfy sofas and beds and roomy kitchen.
A very well equipped holiday cottage. Warm, homely and cosy, perfect for us.
Lovely cottage in a perfect location.
We are taking many happy memories away with us after our two week stay in this home away from home. Cladach cottage, and Seahouses. We have had so much fun and been very relaxed in this beautiful cottage which has been decorated to a high standard and made to feel very homely! Our little boy was very sad to go and wondered if we could rent it for a whole year!!
We have had an amazing time here. We&rsquore no strangers to Seahouses and we most certainly will be back again. The cottage is lovely, very well equipped. We loved the log burner, warms you up after a day of walking. It&rsquos in a prime location of shops, restaurants etc. We most certainly will be back.
