Collett House, Southwold

Initially arrived to a beautifully clean house but no hot water. In searing heat we were 36 hours before we could shower until the plumber came to check the boiler. No maintenance was needed and we assume 'as the guest book hadn't been filled in since Christmas' that the hot water took time to heat up. It was sorted and the remainder of the holiday was great. We had a BBQ and there were crab lines and buckets for the children. Great to have plenty of bathrooms, all were used. Welcome pack was most welcome. Would recommend.

Super accommodation really enjoyed by both families. Excellently thought about by the owner with all the equipment like being at home! Only two slight negatives 1. On arrival and for part of the first full day the heating was not working so a tad cold in the bedrooms. 2. A lot of carpet securing tacks are showing through so not particularly nice when walking around in bare feetsocks. The cleaners probably found it weird to find elastoplasts stuck in various places on the carpets!. All in all, a cracking stay and I rather think we will be looking at returning. Thank you!

Collett House is a super place to stay in Southwold . It is very close to the beach and not far from the centre of Southwold

Fabulous time in your beautiful home. Back in Southwold for the Higginsons coming here for 20 years now but first time at Collett House, spacious home & well equipped. Hoping to return soon.

We have had a fabulous week in this lovely house. Beautifully appointed great kitchen for us cooks too!

A wonderful few days were spent at Collett House from sea swims, seaside walks, we had a last. Top fan of the interior decoration, very comfy beds and glorious views. What a Treat.

The 'Girls' had the best weekend ever in Collett House. This house and Southwold will forever be full of memories for us all. The house couldn't be more perfect. We will be back, even if Southwold thought we were too loud!

This was an excellent property, very clean & tidy, with excellent finishes. It was well equipped and served all our needs as two families together! A stone's throw from the beach, great views from the 2nd & 3rd floors as well as a fantastic courtyard for socialising & eating. Superb place!

We loved the house very well equipped and spacious for a group of 7. The beds and pillows were comfortable and good quality. Nice courtyard garden to sit in the sun sheltered from the sea breeze. Great location near to shops and by the beach We would definitely book the house again

Beautiful property, very well equipped, lots of space. Particularly enjoyed listening to Chopin on the record player, relaxing on the chaise longe while looking out to sea. Just lovely!
